1973 Dodge Charger Se Brougham Original Paint Interior Drivetrain Unrestored on 2040-cars
Rochester, Illinois, United States
1973 Dodge Charger Brougham SE. Own a nice part of drivable history. Being a GM car guy I will say this car packs much excitement as they come. I say this because this car retains all the original goodies. The paint is still shiney ,few chips, top surface a little dull. The Black vinal top is nice not dried out, solid {I inspected for soft or bubbling areas which are none]. The body lines are like the day the car came off the line. Doors, truck lid, hood all functions smooth. No rust holes. There is a smal area on the rh rear fender shown in a pciture starting to bubble. All the weather stripping is good for the age. The original 400 starts right up, sounds great, the 400 automatic trans shifts great. Power steering, power disc brakes front. Factory a/c that works could use a charge R12 system. The orignal wheels were taken from past owner this is a 3 owner car. I am listing this for a for a client that has owned the car for over 20 years. Selling due to losing her job. No radio,no damage to the factory opening either. Remote drivers mirror. New windshield will be installed by end of the auction. A rock cracked the windshield so I am haveing a new windshield installed. Will not be date coded otherwise factory correct. Tires are nice,American Racing wheels. Exhaust is good. Past owner lost build sheet, window sticker, all history on the car. I have not looked for any build sheets inside the car. Factory console with no cracks. The bucket seats need recovered, and the headliner has a hole from somthing hitting it, needs replaced. Over all a nice 61,085 mile original car. Great cruising car. Any questions call 217-280-2415 8am to 9:00pm Clean title. Will help with shipping, buyer pays all expense for shipping. Sold with No Warranty.

Weekly Recap: Things you might not know about the 2015 Dodge Charger and Challenger Hellcats
Sat, 16 Aug 2014If you're an enthusiast, and you don't know that Dodge spawned another Hellcat this week, you really must have been living in cave. The 2015 Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat is probably the biggest news for enthusiasts since the reveal of, well the 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat.
But, there are some things you might not know or might have missed about the new Charger and Challenger Hellcats. For starters, reports that the Hellcat production would be limited to a low volume are not true.
"We have not capped the Hellcat on either the Challenger or the Charger," Dodge CEO Tim Kuniskis said.
2014 Dodge Durango leaks ahead of NY rollout
Wed, 27 Mar 2013Even though Chrysler will reportedly discontinue the Dodge Durango after the current model's lifespan - said to be around 2016 - that isn't stopping the automaker from improving its full-size, three-row SUV. The vehicle won't debut at the New York Auto Show until tomorrow, but images are already leaking out ahead of the embargo lift, and they show that the 2014 model is getting even more aggressive styling to go with more technology inside and out.
Dodge limited its early press shots of the new Durango to just the R/T trim level, but this new look adds a meaner look to this model with more dramatic projector-beam headlights along with a "floating" crosshair grille and a restyled fascia. At the rear of the Durango, LED racetrack taillights show a family resemblance to the Charger and Dart, while a new rear fascia adds to the styling while also allowing for an integrated trailer hitch.
On the tech side, the instrument panel looks to have been redesigned to include a standard seven-inch thin-film transistor (TFT) gauge cluster, and it also appears as if Chrysler's well-liked UConnect system has been updated with the 8.4-inch touchscreen found in other Chrysler vehicles. The 2013 model's conventional console shifter has been replaced by a rotary knob for gear selection, suggesting that there are transmission changes afoot as well. We'll have more details when the silks slide off this big boy tomorrow, so stay tuned.
Rare Dodge Daytona found in barn heads for auction
Tue, Dec 15 2015An American icon is headed to Mecum's Kissimmee, Florida auction next January. Charlie Lyons, owner of a restoration shop focused on old Chrysler products, got a lead on a two-owner 1969 Dodge Charger Daytona that had been sitting in a barn in Glenwood, Alabama for decades. Dodge built 560 Charger Daytonas (Canada and US production) to homologate the model for NASCAR racing, and then that car and the successor Plymouth Superbird terrorized NASCAR tracks for 18 months. The production car, however, 18 feet long and considered ugly, wasn't popular at the time, so many were beat up or simply disappeared. Around 385 are thought to exist today. Lyons said the first owner of this car was the town judge, who bought it for his wife. In 1974 the second owner - just 18 years old at the time - bought it for $1,800 so he could drive it to Panama City, Florida, for Spring Break, and had flames painted on the front fenders and the scallops trimmed in white. Otherwise this barn find is complete and stock, with matching numbers throughout, R4 Charger Red paint and a white tail, bucket seats, center console, three-speed TorqueFlite automatic, and 20,553 miles on the 440-cubic-inch Magnum V8. Hot Rod has the long story of how Lyons found the car and convinced the owner to sell for what he jokingly called "a shoebox full of folded money." Hagerty says a concours-worthy model can command $262,000. Mecum's pre-sale estimate for this Charger Daytona is $150,000 to $180,000. That sounds steep, but Mecum did sell another perfectly restored Hemi-powered 1969 Charger Daytona for $900,000 at this year's Kissimmee auction to actor David Spade. Related Video:
