I had this car sold, but the buyer never came through with the payment. Please bid only if you are serious. I had planned on restoring this one to keep, but I have too many projects going at this time. This is a 1973 Dodge Charger with 318 engine, headers and B&M Automatic shifter in the floor. The tires are (New) with very few miles on them. Nice aluminum rims as well. This is a southern car that I purchased from a local who had bought it for his son. He was driving it back and forth to school, but started having trouble with the wiring so it was parked. He decided that he had rather have a truck so I was able to pick it up. I was told the motor had been rebuilt, but I can't guarantee that. The body was in good condition with the exception of one floor pan (it has been replaced with a new one) and the driver's side quarter panel. It had some damage, so I cut it out with the intention to replace it with an aftermarket panel. The rest of the car is in good condition and the trunk intact. The windshield is new and all the other glass is present and in great condition. Also included is a lot of extra parts including a passengers seat, two extra steering columns, misch. door panels, trim pieces and a lot of extra chrome and two dash pads. I also have the hood ornament for it. The glove box and instrument gage are in the trunk. I was in the process of replacing the dash pad, so that is why those were removed.
Note: I live approx. half way between Huntsville and Birmingham Alabama just off interstate I-65. An easy drive from Atlanta or Nashville.

Cruiser's close call caught on camera
Mon, Dec 21 2015A new recruit to the Kansas Highway Patrol experienced his first brush with danger on his first day when a semi truck clipped his cruiser during a traffic stop last week. Public relations officer Tod Hileman said in a Facebook post that the incident occurred when an officer and his brand-new trainee pulled over a black Dodge Charger on I-70 in Trego County, Kansas. Hileman said in the comments that the cruiser was parked two feet away from the white line on the shoulder. Not only did the driver not get over a lane when he saw the stopped cruiser per Kansas law, he seemed to have moved closer to the side of the road. The big rig managed to send the cruiser's side mirror and spotlight flying across the road. The truck could have easily injured one of the officers, perhaps fatally. The truck driver ignored Kansas' Move Over law, which requires "drivers approaching a stationary emergency vehicle displaying flashing lights, including towing and recovery vehicles, traveling in the same direction, to vacate the lane closest if safe and possible to do so, or slow to a speed safe for road, weather, and traffic conditions." With a clear lane to his left the trucker in this case had no excuse. He stopped after the crash and was cited by the officers for failing to change lanes when he saw the stopped vehicles. Being a cop is a risky job. So far this year, 28 officers have lost their lives in the line of duty due to car accidents, according to the Officer Down Memorial Page. Roadkill pits every project car against each other
Sat, 22 Feb 2014The guys behind Motor Trend's monthly Roadkill series have collected nine of their favorite project cars from their videos and pitted them against each other in a battle royale to determine a winner. It's 44 minutes long, but it's completely worth the investment of time.
The cars run the gamut from a 1973 Chevrolet Ramp Truck, a 1975 AMC Pacer and a legitimately impressive 1967 Chevy Camaro, and they are pitted against each other to see which is the fastest around an autocross course. The drivers include Roadkill's two hosts and Motor Trend's Johnny Lieberman and Carlos Lago. It's reminiscent of the best episodes of Top Gear and worth a watch.
So it's the weekend - the perfect time to relax. Grab your preferred beverage, get comfortable and enjoy 44 minutes of some seriously ratty but utterly cool project cars as they are throttled within an inch of their lives (or past it). Scroll down to check out the video.
