1970 Chrysler 300

This is an interesting auction to say the least.
IF YOU HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR VERY RUST FREE LAND YACHT
LOOK NO FURTHER !! AZ HAS BEEN KIND TO THIS CARS ORIGINAL SHEETMETAL !
TO ME, THIS IS WHEN THE CHRYSLER 300 was at its peak. A real GIANT
among other cars in more then 1 way.
This 2 dr hardtop doesnt get any more sexy ! Huge car, great body lines
and the best motor MOPAR had to offer that yr for a car like this.
The TNT 375 HP motor that came in this car from the factory is by real
enthusiast, to be MOPARS best  engine option of the era.

I myself am a car lover and if I had the time and money, Id restore the car
to its former glory keeping it a matching #s beast.
Then again youll find some buyers who would buy this pkg just to help
aid in the restoration of their B Body car thats missing its original drivetrain.

THESE CARS RESTORED ARE REALLY A THING OF BEAUTY, A SITE
RARELY SEEN ON THE ROADS OR EVEN AT CAR SHOWS THESE DAYS.
FROM THE CLEAN SEXY FRONT HIDE A WAY HEADLIGHTS back to the
LONG SLEEK DECK AND WRAP AROUND REAR BUMPER AND FORMAL
ROOF BACK WINDOW, EVEN EVERYTHING IN BETWEEN LOOKS AT HOME.

OUR 100% feedback speaks for itself
and many of our feedback are from about 15 cars we sold just this past
year here on EBay. We put more time and effort into our ads making it much
easier for the potential buyers to bid with confidence.
NOT MANY OF THESE CARS WHERE MADE BACK IN THE DAY and we all know
NOT MANY ARE EVEN LEFT ON THE ROAD ANYMORE.

DRIVETRAIN: the original 440 4v motor has been basically sitting
in dry dock with 64k miles on the clock now since the 80s when
the car was parked. The original carb is missing but its been covered
well over the yrs. I do have the distributor, but rest of the accessories
etc are missing. The correct exhaust manifolds are on the car.
Im going to try to see if the motor runs in the next few days.
The previous owner swears it should. Driveshaft is missing, but Im
trying to get that too for the car. Fender tag still intact.

INTERIOR: Originally a bucket seat car with factory floor shift
console (much like how the Hurst model came) the interior is
very worn from the heat and az sun. The complete interior will
need restoration. At the moment the front bucket seats are
missing (but Im trying to get them from the previous owner and
if I can get them they will come with the car) Its a rough interior
but still easier to restore that part of the car compared to
someone chasing rust repairs for weeks.
Interior floors look like the day the car was built as solid as
they are, but they are dusty.
Passenger side door glass is missing, all the rest looks good
and intact. PW switches are still connected to the harness.
Very well optioned inside and out including tilt wheel.
Pieces of the build sheet do come with car, but its in pretty
bad shape.

EXTERIOR: all the paint looks original, but maybe its had some touch
up or repairs over the yrs. Some trim missing, but not alot.
RF fender needs adjusting but it wouldnt take much to prep the
car for paint and start the restoration. I would call the body 95%
rust free AZ car, its super solid and original with no previous
patch or repair work.  Lower rear valance did get tweaked.
Grill and bumpers look good for a car this old. Originally it did have
a white vinyl top to match the interior. Stunning combo.

SUSPENSION
: basically all stock, and with torsion bar front end
adjusting the cars ride height is a sinch. Tires I wouldnt trust
much longer but the hold air for now.
During restoration you could go with 18s or 20s on the car and
it would look right at home.

IF YOU DONT SEE IT IN THE PICS, IT DOES NOT COME WITH
THE CAR (aside from the lovely model who also does not
come with it , haha.)

Overall again, the car feels good for a daily driver

This car is not your typical rust free Arizona car but it is
a CA car that needs some rust repair.

These cars rarely even come up for sale anymore
Check out ALL the pics below ----->

it may take a full minute for them all to load if you have a
slow connection, so be patient AND looks for the extra scroll
bar on the right side.
Az gets maybe 12" a yr of rain and Az very dry climate.
more info AFTER the pics etc. There are 100 large pics.

Heres a great chance to buy the Rust Free AZ Mopar project youve
been looking for.
Whether you restore it back to stock, resto-mod it or havent for
bid part it out. Very few this nice come up for sale anymore.
A car this well marketed for all potential bidders and buyers
Being sold by us, a seller with excellent feedback and history
With ebay and buyers. What more could you ask for ? :)

There you have it, probably The BEST represented Mopars on Ebay.

Shows you all the good as well as any bad, hope you appreciate them.
We put a lot of time and effort in marketing our cars and it shows.

This is NOT the most rust free car Ive sold but still better then most
Ive seen for sale here on Ebay over the last month or so.

Also, if you buy a car thats been "restored", who knows what sort
of surprises are hidden under new paint or thick undercoating.
People are flipping cars all the time when most of the jobs are
fast, for a quick buck and quality suffers.

Our auctions have NOTHING to hide .
Restore a car like this yourself or locally and you know
exactly what you have in the end.

Email us with ANY questions before you bid please
If you treat yourself to buying one of our vehicles
youll never buy a total buckets again from anyone !!
Our Impeccable FEEDBACK speaks for itself.

With less horrid surprises later on.
Dont let auctions with little to no pics try to fool you.

Dodge Viper recall requires small-handed mechanics

Fri, 25 Apr 2014

It has been over a year since Chrysler first announced its recall of 3,660 2003-2004 Dodge Vipers because the airbag could suddenly deploy. The repairs are finally beginning, and it appears to be a nightmare for mechanics.
According to the automaker's filing with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the airbag control module can fail, which causes the bag or the seatbelt pre-tensioner to deploy without warning. It took over a year to design the new parts, according to The New York Times. However, Chrysler finally has a new "jumper harness with an in-line diode filter circuit" ready to fix the problem.
The dilemma now moves to the mechanics who have to actually install the part. A 47-step guide from Chrysler explains that the procedure should take about two hours. It's not an easy job, though. Most of the dashboard has to be taken apart, and the instructions include this helpful bit of advice: "Installing the jumper harness and filter box into position is not an easy task. Patience, perseverance, and small hands are required." We wish the best of luck to them. The fix comes just in time for the Vipers to enjoy the summer sun.

Chrysler to reveal next minivan at 2016 Detroit Auto Show

Tue, Jan 13 2015

All eyes in the industry are presently fixed on this year's Detroit Auto Show, but over at Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, they're already looking towards next year's show. That's when the Italian-American automaker says it'll unveil the next Chrysler minivan. The announcement, made on the FCA Corporate Twitter feed, promises that the next Pentastar minivan will debut in January 2016, which (along with the hashtag NAIAS) suggests the next-generation family hauler will debut at the Detroit show next year. Auburn Hills is expected to replace the current Chrysler Town & Country and Dodge Grand Caravan with two all-new models: one keeping the minivan form, and the other shifting into more of a crossover. Just which nameplate gets the new form factor, and which will debut at Cobo next year, we don't know. Odds are good that it'll be the minivan not the CUV, though. Chrysler's minivan has been a winning business for the Detroit automaker, pioneering the segment, outselling the competition and marketing around the world under more brands and nameplates than just about anything else in the industry. The vehicle has been sold as the Dodge Caravan, Chrysler Town & Country, Chrysler Voyager, Plymouth Voyager, Lancia Voyager, Ram Cargo Van and Volkswagen Routan, to say nothing of long-wheelbase Grand versions of many of the aforementioned nameplates. Help find Kenny Wayne Shepherd's stolen 1972 Dodge Charger

Mon, 11 Nov 2013

Judging by his collection of cars, blues musician Kenny Wayne Shepherd (shown above, at left, with fellow musician George Thorogood) is an enthusiast of classic Dodge muscle cars, so it's no surprise that he is an active member of Mopar-related online communities. When his 1972 Dodge Charger turned up missing from an LA-area warehouse last Wednesday, Shepherd took to the forums of Moparts.org in an attempt to get the word out in hopes of recovering his custom classic.
The Charger was stolen along with four other vehicles, and Hot Rod reports that two women have been taken into custody since - but still no word on the car. With its blacked-out appearance (including custom Foose wheels), this car is definitely hard to miss, but Shepherd also said that the car might be even more distinguishable now due to some body damage that may have occurred as it was being driven from the warehouse lot. Shepherd's website has a full gallery of images for this '72 Charger, which also has a modern 392-cubic-inch V8 under the hood and a six-speed gearbox pulled from a Viper.
If you're in the LA area and happen to see this car, Shepherd asks that you call the LAPD West Valley Division at 818-374-7611. Here's to hoping this one-of-a-kind Charger turns up unscathed.
