A lot of parts were gone when I got the car, let me try to write what it has and doesn't have.

PARTS ON THE CAR;

All wiring unmolested, vacuum harness, rear bumper and tail lights, trunk lid and hinges. I put a manual gearbox on it and a new pitman arm to steer it.

Interior parts;

all skins and panels are present, not in perfect shape, water and weather damaged. Headliner is torn, needs replaced but all bows are there.

Dash pad has a couple cracks in it, dash face pads and glove box are nice.

All gauges, map light, vents, cables, fresh air and heater core box .

Console, floor shifter and linkage still hooked up to transmission.

Window regulators need oiled, windows don't go down freely.

Hub caps I put on, think they are Plymouth because there's no dodge stamp on the face.

All seat belts, shoulder harnesses were cut off at the roof for no reason.

Fenders can be saved with a good body hand.

Doors are solid with some outer skin rust.

Quarter panels need replaced. passenger side has a dent on the top that leads to the sail.

Rear window frame channel needs replaced along with the inner package tray corners.

Window channel on the filler panel or replace.

Deck lid has some rust but is savable.

Couple holes in the passenger rocker panel.

Needs complete trunk panels.

Needs driver side rear frame, spring is through the trunk.

Gas tank is rotten, but filler tube and cap is on there.

Needs tail light panel and lower valence.

Floors;

Driver front pan has a small hole left of the brake pedal, and one by the rocker.

Pass front pan is solid.

Driver rear pan is rotten.

Passenger side is solid.

Front frame rails are solid.

Miscl.

Most stainless is there and in good condition, missing around rear window and some for vinyl trim.

With the deal, I'm throwing in a set of Crager 14" Aluminum Slots uni lug. These are stamped Crager on the back.

The 2 rear are 14X8.5" and I think the 2 fronts are 14x6 or 7" with old Sohio Atlas tires.

I purchased a set of NOS Crager center caps and have 3 original ones with the rims for spares.

No lug nuts.

I have over $100 in the center caps.

HISTORY;

I believe this car has been sitting since 1978. The license plate on the car said 1978 which I'm including in the deal.

When cleaning out the car I found the original service ID card with the vin number and owners name when purchased in 1968.

I have a piece of the build sheet that was under the rear seat, in a zip lock bag.

I had the original title from 1968 also and before sending it though the process, I photo copied both sides. These all come with the car.

My words;

I don't want to part this car out, but if I did, I know I can make my starting price.

If you want a car that's numbers matching with documentation, please bid.

If you can't afford this car and would like to bash it or my intelligence about my car, please don't and pass on the car.

I try to describe everything accurate as I see. I am human, I make mistakes or forget to mention things.

If I forgot anything, please ask me, I will answer best as possible.

The car is being sold as is with no warranty. Clear title.

NO DELIVERIES !

I have no means of transportation. My driver was killed in an accident a month ago. R.I.P.

You will need to bring a trailer with a winch or extra man power, or a roll back.

Bring a floor jack to help maneuver the car, we had to push it side ways behind my house.

Chrysler, Nissan minivans earn 'dire' crash test results, says IIHS [w/video]

Fri, Nov 21 2014

First introduced in 2012, the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety's small-overlap frontal crash test has become the bane of many auto engineers' existence. It's a particularly steep design challenge because it forces just 25 percent of a vehicle's front end to take the brunt of a 40-mile-per-hour impact. The newly released results of four family-minded minivans underscore just how difficult the crash test is: only one scored an Acceptable rating, and the other three did very poorly. The 2008-2015 Chrysler Town & Country and Dodge Grand Caravan, plus the 2011-2015 Nissan Quest, all received Poor ratings in the test, the IIHS' lowest possible score. The three of them showed significant crash intrusion into the driver's area. The dummy in the Nissan actually had to be cut out of the vehicle, with an IIHS spokesperson remarking, "the structure collapsed like a house of cards." In the Fiat Chrysler Automobile vans, the steering wheels moved out of the way, making the airbag less effective and letting the driver's head hit the dashboard. While it was not actually crashed, the agency is also giving the 2009-12 Volkswagen Routan a Poor score because it shares a structure with the FCA models. The newly released results of four minivans underscore just how difficult the small-offset crash test is. The refreshed 2015 Toyota Sienna (shown), conversely, earned an Acceptable rating and is also a Top Safety Pick+ because of its optional forward collision warning and automatic braking system. While the crash test dummy moved around during the impact more than the agency would have liked, sensors showed a low risk of injuries. The IIHS tested the Honda Odyssey last year, and it earned a Good overall score, the agency's best ranking. It's also a Top Safety Pick+ vehicle. The only member of the minivan segment left to test is the latest Kia Sedona, and the Institute is reportedly waiting a little longer for Kia to make changes to improve the model's performance. When reached for comment, Nissan spokesperson Steve Yaeger provided Autoblog with the following statement: "Nissan is committed to vehicle safety and believes that consumers should have information about crash protection so they can make educated buying decisions. Nissan is proud of the 2014 Quest's "good" rating in the IIHS front moderate overlap and side impact tests as well as a "good" head restraint rating.

2015 Dodge Charger Pursuit prepares to keep Hellcats in line

Wed, 13 Aug 2014

Earlier today, Dodge pulled the wraps off its 2015 Charger SRT Hellcat - a 707-horsepower sedan capable of sprinting to 60 miles per hour in 3.7 seconds and reaching a top speed of 204 mph. Naturally, the car debuted in a bright shade of pull-me-over red, so it was fitting, then, that Dodge also brought its newly updated 2015 Charger Pursuit to keep everything under control.
No, cops won't be able to spec their Charger cruisers with the 707-hp Hellcat engine (oh man, imagine the chase scenes...), but law enforcement officials will be able to choose from either a 3.6-liter V6 or 5.7-liter Hemi V8, producing 292 hp and 370 hp, respectively. V8 models can be ordered with all-wheel drive, and Dodge estimates that with either engine, the Charger Pursuit can achieve up to 26 miles per gallon on the highway (thanks to the V8's four-cylinder mode).
Other updates for 2015 include improved braking power, a seven-inch display in the instrument cluster, a five-inch display in the center stack, and a new vehicle systems interface that could make it easier for police squads to install computer and radio equipment.

Detroit's new fleet of donated police cars have safety issues [w/video]

Wed, 23 Oct 2013

In a show of generosity in mid-August, Detroit's business leaders donated $8 million to the Police Department and Fire Department in order to buy 100 new police vehicles and 23 EMS ambulances. But now officers have discovered - and complained - that the police vehicles have glaring safety issues, Deadline Detroit reports. It is not made clear what models of the fleet vehicles - which include police versions of the Ford Taurus, the Chevrolet Caprice and the Dodge Charger - are affected by the safety issues.
Officers reportedly have complained that the Plexiglass partition separating front-seat officers and back-seat prisoners is easily breached, and that the front passenger seat is installed too close to the dashboard. Prisoners who manage to writhe out of their handcuffs can bend the Plexiglass and reach into the cockpit, and sitting too close to the dashboard can render airbags more dangerous and make officers more vulnerable to injury in a crash.
Mark Diaz, president of the Detroit Police Officers Association, received the complaints and reportedly said the vehicles would get safety updates addressing the issues. But Deadline Detroit reports that it checked some of the offending police cars and, as of the last few days, they hadn't been updated.
