2016 Dodge Challenger Srt Hellcat Coupe 2-door on 2040-cars
Solvang, California, United States
I am always available by mail at: vernellvcchappan@mancityfans.com .
This is a Very Nice Plum Crazy Pearl Hellcat with the Satin Black Hood. I have put the
FORGELINE GA1R wheels on it. They retail for $1540 each. I also Upgraded the Car with the 3.09 Ratio Differential.
That cost $1340 plus Labor. The car drives so much better. This should be standard.
The front of the car and the windshield are almost mint. I always try to drive in clean air when I am driving on
the freeway etc. There are some chips down low behind the wheel wells where the tires throw up small stones and
sand. The hood is mint. I sealed it with Dr Beasley's sealant and detail and clean it with their products.
Car has the Black Laguna Leather Interior. The Interior has no issues that I can tell. I am careful not to scuff
the door panel and sill plate so they should be near mint. Standard Navigation and rear camera etc...I don't think
I have ever even had a passenger in the car.
The front splitter is original and has never rubbed on anything. I am especially proud of that.
Front Wheels are 20X8.5 with 245/45R20 Continental Extreme Contact DW Tires, the rear Wheel is a 18X10.5 with
305/45R18 Nitto NT555R Tires. All wheels and tires are near mint/new. TPMS are installed and function correctly.
The wheels and tires cost about $7200 total. Each front wheel and tire are 14 pounds lighter than stock, and the
rear, even though they are much larger are 6 pounds lighter than stock each.
Please note the car is pictured with a different back tire. The current Nittos are a 1" taller so they match the
height of the front and look much better and they will last quite a bit longer, depending on how you drive.
This car is a garage queen. It sometimes sits for 2 or three weeks at a time. I bought it in Temple Texas so it had
the first 1425 miles put on it just getting it home. It has never been driven in rain. Not even on the trip back
from Texas. Was built in Nov 2015 and purchased as soon as it arrived at the Dealer since I placed my deposit when
the car was in transit from the factory.
The Oil and Filter were expertly changed at 6 month intervals and recorded in the owners manual. I cut the latest
oil filter apart and it was flawlessly clean inside.

1979 Dodge Li'l Red Express in Generation Gap showdown with 1933 Ford Pickup
Fri, 18 Jul 2014Auto enthusiasts love a good debate, whether it's Mustang versus Camaro or Ferrari against Lamborghini. But how about a battle between two very different vintages of classic pickup trucks? In this case, the fight is between a 1979 Dodge Li'l Red Express and a 1933 Ford Model 46 truck with a flathead V8.
The shootout comes courtesy of the internet series Generation Gap, and its concept is super-simple. One guy prefers classics, and the other likes newer rides. They choose a category, pick two vehicles and put them head to head. In this case, neither is exactly modern, though. The Ford is more than old enough to receive Social Security checks, and the Dodge is hardly a young whippersnapper.
Other than both being pickups, these two models were made to serve very different functions. The Li'l Red Express was basically the progenitor of today's muscle trucks, with a big V8 that made it one of the quickest new models in its day (admittedly, 1979 was a rough time for automotive performance). On the other hand, the '33 Ford was just meant to work, with little pretense for anything else. One of the hosts describes it as "the simplest, most difficult" vehicle he's driven because of the tricky double clutchwork necessary to shift gears. Scroll down to watch the video and try to decide which of these two American classics you would rather have in your garage.
Official USPS Muscle Cars stamps coming to a mailbox near you
Thu, 21 Feb 2013As much as our digital lives have cut down on our trips to the post office, there are still times that sending "snail mail" is necessary. With us car lovers in mind and philately in their hearts, the good folks at the United States Postal Service will introduce a new stamp design called "Muscle Cars" starting on February 22.
Designed by artist Tom Fritz, the new collection of stamps consist of five classic muscle cars: 1969 Dodge Charger Daytona, 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS, 1967 Shelby GT-500, 1966 Pontiac GTO and 1970 Plymouth Hemi 'Cuda. In addition to just the stamps, the USPS is also commemorating the new series with plenty of collectable memorabilia. Previous car-related stamps include 50s Sporty Cars from 2005 and 50s Fins and Chrome from 2008.
2014 Dodge Journey Crossroad soldiers on in the Chi
Thu, 06 Feb 2014Introduced to the market in 2008 and updated in 2011, the Dodge Journey crossover has had all the freshness of a retirement village in recent years. Filling a potentially important niche for Dodge as an affordable, family-sized vehicle, the Journey has gotten one last mild refresh here in Chicago. Feast your mild-appearance-package-loving eyes on the 2014 Dodge Journey Crossroad.
We can't be sure if the inspiration for the Crossroad appellation was the 2002 blockbuster film, Crossroads, starring Britney Spears, or the 1986 cult-classic, Crossroads, starring Ralph Macchio, but based on the CUV's newfound boyish charm, we're betting on the Karate Kid.
Dark finish 19-inch wheels, platinum chrome accents and a manly new front fascia tell the world that this isn't the Dodge Journey that they've long since forgotten about. In fairness, the Crossroad is easily the best-looking iteration of the Journey to date, and should be better to live with, too, considering its revised cabin, leather seats and standard Uconnect touchscreen infotainment system.
