Blacktop Edition Package
THREE very big reasons why this Challenger is perfect. To start, this is the LAST year of the true bullet proof classic body style before they completely change the car for 2015. The best powertrain, and most versitale. The 5.7L Hemi is tried and true, with 375 hp on tap and a TREMEC 6 speed manual for the ultimate driving experience. The reason why this is the preferred engine/trans is because this is the ONLY HEMI that runs true on all 8 cylinders. Every other Hemi in the Chrysler Dodge Jeep lineup including the AUTO trans Challengers have MDS (4 cylinder mode at cruising speeds). You can ONLY get this engine on the Challenger 6-speed. The last reason is that 2014 my be the most diserable year of the 08-14 models, before the huge 2015 redesign, and Dodge had a few special edition models this year. Blacktop Editions being limited to only a few months of production and the best package, getting the right cosmetic and performance upgrades from the factory. This particular Challenger is stunning and perfect inside and out. I have spent more time detailing and waxing this car that I have drove it. I treated this one like a trailer queen, only the best products were used on the car. By far, this one is cleaner than ANY Challenger you can buy from a dealer lot by a LONG SHOT. Every inch is perfect, every nook and crevis, door jams, engine compartment, trunk, underneath, inner wheel liners...It has only been hand washed twice, and regulary waxed once a week. The paint is smooth as glass, absolutely no imperfections, no swirls, no scratches, no dings, no dents, NO ISSUES. The interior is perfect, with not a spec of dirt or dust to be found. The carpet has never been stepped on, the original carpeted floor mat front/rear are brand new and never used. ALL glass is perfect, with a mirror reflection. The car has been strictly used by me personally, back and forth from church and family on Sundays only. This Challenger has never seen rain, always garage kept! Never smoked in, eaten in, and NO DRINKS. The backseat has never been used, only had a passenger with me on two occassions. Make no mistake, it is a one owner perfect car, but may as well say you bought a new 'demo' Challenger. I am saving you guys alot of time and hassle with making this purchase easy and simple, plus I am saving you thousands of dollars over MSRP. Under full factory Warranty that stays with the car. 3yr/36K month Bumper to Bumper. 5yr/100K Powertrain. 5yr/100K Roadside Assistance. I will include my FREE oil changes with purchase if you use Mall of Georgia Dodge for service. I can show it almost anytime. Call me to schedule pre-bid inspection, or to make purchase. I can answer ANY question you have, and PROVIDE up to 90 ADDITIONAL photos from my photbucket account. Just email, call, or text for more pics....MOPAR MATT 770-342-8007 I can help with shipping arrangements to out of state buyers. Would prefer to sell to a Mopar enthusiant or to someone that will take great care of the car and give her a good home. Make it your Sunday driver, showcar, daily driver, and race car! Cash, cashiers check, or bank certified funds are acceptable forms of payment. $500 deposit within 24 hrs of auction close, the remainder paid in full with in three days. Please read entire description, do not bid or Buy It Now unless to plan on completing the purchase! Tire kickers will be dropped, negative feedback left and reported to eBay. Serious buyers only. This Challenger is the REAL DEAL. Only Blacktop Edition that still basically a new one! Take advantage before someone else does! You will not be dissapointed in this incredible R/T Blacktop car. |

2015 Dodge Challenger configurator has all the Hellcat you can dream of
Mon, 08 Sep 2014The 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat has sucked up a lot of air in the automotive news world this summer, so it's good to know that you can actually go out and, you know, buy the sucker. With 2015 models headed for your local showroom, Dodge has seen fit to also pull the wraps off it's latest Challenger configurator, complete with the supercharged Hemi V8 option that we just can't seem to get enough of.
We're still enamored of the $58,995 starting price for the 707-horsepower SRT, but the online tool finally gives us a chance to see just how optioned up our dream super-muscle coupe can get.
Buyers can choose from three interior treatments and nine paint colors, with two hues (Ivory White and Phantom Black tri-coats) coming for a $500 premium. For $1,795 Laguna Leather SRT bucket seats can be added in place of the (very nice) stock chairs, and a fancier infotaiment system with navigation and HD radio runs $695.
Question of the Day: Most heinous act of badge engineering?
Wed, Dec 30 2015Badge engineering, in which one company slaps its emblems on another company's product and sells it, has a long history in the automotive industry. When Sears wanted to sell cars, a deal was made with Kaiser-Frazer and the Sears Allstate was born. Iranians wanted new cars in the 1960s, and the Rootes Group was happy to offer Hillman Hunters for sale as Iran Khodro Paykans. Sometimes, though, certain badge-engineered vehicles made sense only in the 26th hour of negotiations between companies. The Suzuki Equator, say, which was a puzzling rebadge job of the Nissan Frontier. How did that happen? My personal favorite what-the-heck-were-they-thinking example of badge engineering is the 1971-1973 Plymouth Cricket. Chrysler Europe, through its ownership of the Rootes Group, was able to ship over Hillman Avanger subcompacts for sale in the US market. This would have made sense... if Chrysler hadn't already been selling rebadged Mitsubishi Colt Galants (as Dodge Colts) and Simca 1100s as (Simca 1204s) in its American showrooms. Few bought the Cricket, despite its cheery ad campaign. So, what's the badge-engineered car you find most confounding? Dodge Viper ACR reportedly green lit [w/video]
Fri, Feb 6 2015The Dodge Viper might be getting a little more venomous in the near future thanks to a return of the performance-honed ACR trim. According to an anonymous source leaking the info to Allpar, the version would go into production in July as a 2016 model year vehicle. FCA US showed a concept for a future ACR (pictured above) at the 2014 SEMA Show that sported carbon fiber parts for the front splitter and dive planes, plus a picnic-table-sized rear wing. The body also received ducts at the rear to shoot cool air to the differential. A set of 15.4-inch carbon-ceramic brake rotors also brought things to a halt in a hurry. The company promised all the aero pieces were sculpted in the wind tunnel to give the coupe even more downforce. To shed weight, engineers chucked the radio, speakers, carpet and sound deadening out of the interior, and they replaced many bits with even more carbon fiber. All of the tweaks are necessary because the ACR moniker carries serious cachet for the Viper at the track, especially at the Nurburgring. One reportedly did a 7:22 lap around the 'Ring in 2008, and another improved that further to 7:12 in 2011. Autoblog reached out to FCA US for comment about the possibility for the hotter Viper, but the company wasn't willing to comment about any possible, future projects. Related Video:
