You are bidding on a VERY unique 2011 Dodge Challenger. This vehicle has be meticulously maintained since purchased new in 2011. I possess ALL the records/receipts of everything that has been done to the car. It has had timely oil changes, tire rotations and all of it recommended tune up and check ups. This Challenger is much different then many others on the road. It has been designed after the 1970 Challenger T/A and with Cuda` AAR Graphics. She features a Flat Black Hood, Hood Pins, Rear Louvers & after market OEM Mopar Baddass exhaust system & (this car sounds absolutely amazing! Not too load, but very noticeable). I would be happy to send video of the car running if you text me your email address. Some of the other features, that can be viewed in the pictures, is a Pistol Grip Shifter (also comes with a white "Hurst" style white shifter), tinted windows, and side moldings from Retro USA that were found mainly on the 1971 Challengers and "high end" mud flaps which accentuates it's amazing stance and help keeps the quarter panels clean. It also has a "Go Wing" instead of the standard spoiler which sets the car apart from most every one on the road. She has over $4000 dollars worth the upgrades. The tires (& awesome BOSS Motorsport Wheels and Pure Contact Continental Tires have less then 5000 miles on them since bought brand new). The vehicle has also been Professionally tuned up with DiabloSport which also comes with the car. With all of the upgrades this car can average 30 miles on the highway and 23 in the city (as long as you keep your foot out of it). I realize the bragging right of owning a "Hemi," but this car has tons of Giddy Up! In fact, with the badges...no one would ever no it doesn't have the Hemi Power Plant...PLUS you can supercharge this motor to exceed 700 HP if you want to spend the money. If you would like to look up the Kelley Blue Book the worth of the car, I can save you trouble and tell you it is $18,597 WITHOUT ANY OF THE ADDED UPGRADES! This car has never been smoked in and has not stains, rips, or tears in the interior. Very clean and well kept.
I really can't say enough about this car and I promise whoever ends up with it, will not be disappointed. If you live near Tampa or would like to come view and/or test drive, you are more then welcome. As usual, this car is being sold locally and I reserve the right to end the auction at any time. Lastly, whoever wins the bid please know that I have 100% Positive Feeback on Ebay and would like to keep it that way. Please contact me with any and all questions and will be happy to contact you asap!
Happy Bidding,
Jake

Dodge Demon's deliverer? FCA files for 'Angel' trademark

Thu, Aug 3 2017

We've driven the Dodge Demon, and despite its satanic overtones and 840 freakin' horsepower under the hood, the car is actually quite well-behaved. At least it didn't bite our head off or drag us into any sort of inferno. Still, Dodge might be looking to balance its lineup with something with a bit more righteous, as FCA has filed for a trademark of the moniker "Angel."... According to the United States Patent and Trademark Office, FCA filed the application on July 17, 2017, and it applies to "Motor vehicles, namely, passenger automobiles, their structural parts, trim and badges." Essentially, that's all the information we have to go on at this point. It could mean that Dodge is planning to further capitalize on the Demon name by creating another variant, or a completely different car. But what's the opposite of the Demon? Could it be a more road-friendly version of the drag-focused Demon? (And wouldn't that just be a Hellcat Widebody with more power?) Maybe it's a performance hybrid, as FCA CEO Sergio Marchionne recently said that the automaker would electrify half its fleet by 2022. For now, we can merely speculate as to what the Angel would be. And you can, too. Get at it in the comments section, below. And while you're at it, what name do you think FCA should trademark next, and what sort of car would that be?Related Video: Related Gallery 2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon: First Drive View 37 Photos News Source: US Patent and Trademark Office via FCA Authority Auto News Chrysler Dodge Future Vehicles Performance FCA trademark dodge demon

Jay Leno's Dodge Challenger raises $585k for USO in Scottsdale

Mon, Jan 19 2015

Of all the metal moved in Scottsdale, AZ, this holiday weekend, the one you see here was hardly the most expensive. But it's noteworthy for another reason: despite being a relatively humble, second-hand 2008 Dodge Challenger SRT8, raised an impressive $565,625. That's because, first of all, it belonged to Jay Leno, and secondly because the proceeds were going to the USO. Leno donated the modern muscle car from his collection to benefit our men and women in uniform, and was on hand to present the car on stage at the Gooding & Company auction, along with USO president J.D. Crouch II and former Army chief of staff General George W. Casey, Jr. After frenzied and patriotic bidding, the gavel ultimately dropped at $360,000, accompanied by over $200,000 in additional contributions, bringing the total amount donated to the USO to over half a million. Commendable though it was, of course the Challenger didn't garner the highest bids at the auction. A 1959 Ferrari 250 GT LWB California Spider sold for $7.7 million and a 1968 Ferrari 330 GTS fetched $2.4 million. A rare 1962 Ferrari 400 Superamerica Series I Coupe Aerodinamico sold for over $4,070,000 – which, according to Sports Car Market, is the most ever paid at auction for a 400 Superamerica. And a 1966 Porsche 906 Carrera 6 also sold for a record $1.98 million. For his last act, Marchionne will outline an EV/hybrid roadmap this week

Wed, May 30 2018

MILAN/LONDON — Fiat Chrysler (FCA) boss Sergio Marchionne is expected to outline new plans for electric and hybrid cars in a strategy presentation on Friday, aiming to ensure the world's seventh-largest carmaker remains in the race in the absence of a merger. The 65-year-old will present FCA's strategy to 2022, his final contribution to the company he turned around and multiplied in value through 14 years of canny dealmaking. After failing to secure a tie-up he said was necessary to manage the costs of producing cleaner vehicles, Marchionne needs to show the group can keep churning out profits on its own, even as emissions rules tighten, SUV competition intensifies and worries around his succession abound. Marchionne had long refused to jump on the electrification bandwagon, saying he would only do so if selling battery-powered cars could be done at a profit. He even urged customers not to buy FCA's Fiat 500e, its only battery-powered model, because he was losing money on each sold. But Tesla's success and the need to comply with tougher emissions rules have forced Marchionne to commit to what he calls "most painful" spending. "FCA is way behind rivals in terms of hybrid and electric vehicles and they need to hit the accelerator to convince investors they can close that gap," said Andrea Pastorelli, a fund manager at 8a+ Investimenti. Germany's Volkswagen, Daimler, BMW and U.S. rivals GM and Ford have committed to spending billions of euros each in coming years to try produce profitable cars powered by cleaner fuels. FCA needs to present a clear roadmap, just like Volvo Cars, which ditched diesel from its best-selling XC60 SUV, launched a new electric brand and pledged to shift all brands to hybrid by 2019, a banking source close to FCA said, noting: "The tech divide determines winners and losers in the industry." Marchionne has already said half of the wider FCA fleet will incorporate some elements of electrification by 2022, while luxury marque Maserati will spearhead FCA's electrification drive by making all new models due after 2019 electric. But its plans remain vaguer and less advanced than most big rivals and some investors wonder about the capital required to make vehicles compliant, and what share of spending can go to electrification given FCA's numerous demands.
