2010 Dodge Challenger SE- 30K miles - Sunroof - Leather -- $18,900
Yep -- you read it right -- only 30K miles; and yes it really is only $18,900. This is one of the most well optioned 2010 Challengers SE's you will find. Do not compare this Challenger to the stripped down units you may find at this price. This paint scheme is incredibly rare and absolutely gorgeous. It is the one that is almost always pictured in the ads for a reason. It was the best looking and Chrysler made some serious additional money when one went out the door in 2010. To give you an idea of the value of the options this stunning vehicle has, I have detailed what the options would have cost if you had purchased it new. This star-spangled look and all of this car's options came at quite a cost in 2010: $225 for the Deep Water Blue paint and $750 for the Rallye group, which includes the stripes, spoiler, 18-inch wheels, and shiny gas flap. Additionally the car has the $2,740 Quick Order Package, which had to be selected to unlock the Rallye pack, which included Sirius Satellite Radio, 225/60-18 tires/wheels, leather trim on the steering wheel and shifter, and illuminated vanity mirrors in the visors. In addition, this Challenger was upgraded with leather seats (heated in the front) for $855, and a $950 sunroof. Had you purchased it new, these options would have been over $5,500! Now you can get them on this incredible vehicle for almost the same price as those stripped down models. So why I am selling this gorgeous, low mileage car? Simply put, I am one of "those guys". I graduated from high school in 1972, and wanted a Dodge Challenger ever since. I bought this one to put that desire to rest once and for all. I have had my fun and now momma wants room in the garage. Consequently, I priced this very competitively. This is the lowest priced 2010 Challenger with the Rallye option, with leather and sunroof that I am aware of in the country at $18,900. Best yet -- it only has 30,000. The car has a clean title with an accident free Carfax and Autocheck. The car only had 29,978 miles on it when I took the pictures, but I intend to "drive while I have it", so it will be a little over 30,000 miles when you buy it. All electronic equipment is in working order and the tires are at least 80%. Both the interior and exterior are a 9.5 out of 10. Just a few minor rock chips (expected on a sports car). You are free to have the car inspected by the mechanic of your choice (at your cost). I am only the second owner. The car is currently located in Morton, IL. Please feel free to call 309-360-7550 to arrange an inspection or ask questions about the car. |

SRT partners with Bondurant for performance driving classes
Fri, Nov 6 2015Dodge and Bob Bondurant have announced a new partnership that will see the latter become the former's official high-performance driving school. The deal will see the Bondurant school's entire fleet of nearly 100 vehicles switched over from mostly General Motors products to Dodge Chargers, Challengers, and Vipers. It will give paying customers the chance to drive models like the new Hellcats and even the Viper ACR (for those deemed qualified to drive it) on the track in Arizona. The arrangement won't only benefit Bondurant clients, though. Anyone who buys or leases a new SRT model will get a one-day course at the school, including professional instruction on track. They'll have to pay for their own travel and accommodations, but the instruction will hopefully show more drivers of SRT vehicles how to handle all that muscle they've got at their disposal. DODGE/SRT PARTNERS WITH LEGENDARY BOB BONDURANT SCHOOL OF HIGH PERFORMANCE DRIVING The Bob Bondurant School of High Performance Driving Is Now "The Official High Performance Driving School of Dodge/SRT" - All customers who buy a new 2015 or 2016 model SRT will receive one full-day session of high-performance driving with professional instruction and time on the track as part of the Dodge/SRT package - Bondurant attendees will get to experience the full line of Dodge/SRT vehicles, including the Dodge Challenger and Dodge Charger Hellcats - Bondurant's entire fleet of cars is being converted over to Dodge Chargers, Challengers and Vipers - Non-Dodge owners can purchase racing instruction through Bondurant and experience their full line of Dodge SRT vehicles on the track - Racing participants who qualify will get to experience the Dodge Viper ACR, the fastest street-legal Viper track car ever November 3, 2015 , Auburn Hills, Mich. - New Dodge/SRT buyers grab your racing shoes and helmets – Dodge is teaming up with the legendary Bob Bondurant School of High Performance Driving to create "The Official High Performance Driving School of Dodge/SRT." Starting Jan. 1, 2016, Dodge customers who purchase or lease a 2015 or 2016 Dodge/SRT can experience a high-performance driving class with professional instruction and time on the track where they can develop their racing and driving skills in a one-day performance-packed adventure. Dodge will provide the rides – nearly 100 SRT vehicles – including the 707-horsepower Dodge Charger and Challenger SRT Hellcats.
2015 Dodge Challenger SRT 392
Mon, Mar 9 2015I've just started reading the third installment in a planned five-book biography of Lyndon Baines Johnson, Master of the Senate, written by the incomparable Robert Caro. Conveniently, a recent trip to drive the BMW X6 M and 228i Convertible was to be staged in Austin, TX, within easy driving distance of LBJ's birthplace, Johnson City. And yes, the city is named for his family. Having completed my duties with the Bimmers, I borrowed the spangled 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT 392 you see above, to squire me around the Texas capitol for a weekend, and as a lift out to the Hill Country homestead of our 36th President. Johnson City isn't exactly a road trip mecca, but there's a pretty good brewery, a museum, the reconstructed LBJ house to take snapshots of, and it's a nice drive to get out there if you've got a 485-horsepower muscle car at your disposal. Driving Notes With the heroic Hellcat, this 392 and the R/T Scat Pack (that Brandon Turkus reviewed recently), there are more SRT-treated Challengers to choose from than ever before. There are 707 obvious reasons that the Hellkitty is the top dog (as it were), but there are important difference between this 392 and the Scat Pack, too. Both cars make use of the 6.4-liter Hemi V8 putting out 485 horsepower and 475 pound-feet of torque, but the 392 also gets an adaptive suspension, six-piston Brembo brake calipers (instead of four-piston), wider tires, leather and Alcantara seats, a heated steering wheel, a louder stereo and HID headlights. When LBJ was campaigning for his seat in the House of Representatives, he would've loved to have something as potent as this monster of a V8 under the hood of his canvassing car. The 6.4L snorts with authority before it sends the big coupe forward to just about any speed I'd ask of it, and with a quickness. Johnson was known for haranguing drivers to step on it, when all that stood between himself and a few more votes was the ability to fit one more stump speech into the day. The 392 feels as though it could cover a quarter of the state of Texas in a morning if you throttle down deep enough (faster even than the Johnson City Windmill, I'd guess). Though there's a six-speed manual available, I'm actually quite fond of the eight-speed automatic in the 392. The two-pedal setup better suits the fast-cruiser attitude of the car, and it never served up any poorly conceived shift logic when I left it in D. Of course, the roads are better now than they were in the 1930s and 40s, too.
