2009 Dodge Challenger R/t One Owner Mint on 2040-cars
New Milford, Connecticut, United States
2009 Dodge Challenger RT 375 hp 6 Speed. I bought this car with 1 mile on it. One owner. Ordered new my name is on the original window sticker. Since then this car has been babied. Garaged in winter. NO SALT undercarriage looks brand new. Interior is mint back and passenger seats rarely used. No disappointments with this car. The only issue I have with it is the 20" Chrome clad wheels. These things get a little dingy over time. Still shiny though with NO chips out of the cladding.
Extras include: Mopar Cold Air Intake, BT catch can, Blastin Bobs straight pipe resonator delete. (sounds awesome) Pioneer in-dash cd/DVD(Bluetooth for phone and music) with Rockford Fosgate 6x9's in front doors. This car has cloth seats. Power sunroof. NEW powerstop drilled and slotted rotors with ceramic pads. Fresh Royal Purple oil change. Recent tires. No issues, just turn the key and go fast. No maintenance issues ever with this car. I have all original parts including the resonators. Car also comes with an evolution car cover. Its five years old and has a couple tears but makes a good dust cover. I still owe a little on it bank has title. Will take 2-3 weeks to get it once paid off. You may drive it away with my plate and bill of sale as long as you've insured it. I will overnight title to you once received. Pictures dont do this car justice. Check my feedback and bid with confidence. Ive sold several vehicles on ebay with NO disappointments. I'm only selling it to bank some money for another car. This car has been my baby for 5 years. edit: forgot to mention Weathertech front mats(cover the entire foot wells) also have stock floor mats(mint never used). Also this is a track pack car(what they now call super track pack). This package includes self leveling rear shocks, 3.92 rear. |

Dodge idles Viper production again at Conner Avenue
Mon, 07 Jul 2014You've got to hand it to Dodge for having the gumption to put the original Viper into production in the first place. It was, after all, much more of an emotional decision than a practical one, and a move which saw the first production V10 engine placed in a road car - long before the advent of the Lamborghini Gallardo, Audi R8, Porsche Carrera GT or Lexus LFA, not to mention the other Ford, BMW and Volkswagen Group models that used such engines.
It's now been 22 years since the first Viper entered production and the Viper still rolls on several generations later, but we're sad to say that courageous decision has not always been met with overwhelming sales success. In fact parent Chrysler was forced to idle the Conner Avenue plant where the Viper is made back in April due to slow sales. And while production resumed again as planned on June 23, it apparently didn't do the trick.
As a result, Chrysler corporate communications chief Shawn Morgan revealed to Autoblog that the assembly line has been shut down again for another two weeks. The line was up and running for nearly two full work weeks from June 23 until the holiday weekend that started on Thursday, July 3. But instead of coming back online today as planned, it's been idled again for the weeks of July 7 and 14. That means it will be July 21, at the earliest, before the serpentine supercars start slithering down the assembly line at Conner Avenue again. Once it does, however, production is set to resume at the same pace it was before the shutdown.
2013 Dodge Dart GT
Mon, 16 Dec 2013My younger brother bought a Dodge Dart earlier this summer. It's a basic SXT, in Maximum Steel Metallic, with the 2.0-liter engine, a six-speed automatic transmission and not a whole lot else. Unfortunately, at the time, the Dart was one of the few cars in the compact class I'd never driven. I didn't know a lot about it, and therefore, didn't have a lot to say when he bought it. I think the words "based on an Alfa," popped out when I first saw it.
As it turns out, he's grown quite fond of the dark gray sedan, so it was with some degree of enthusiasm that I paid him a visit in this bright-orange Dart GT. I was excited to see what it was about the Dart that he enjoyed so much, despite my tester featuring a different engine, transmission and a lot more tech. After a week with the car, though, I must say: I don't quite see what all the fuss is about.

2013 Dodge Charger SRT8 Super Bee
Tue, 12 Mar 2013I can pinpoint the exact moment when I fell in love with this car. It was starting down a nearly straight entrance ramp at 15 miles per hour when I buried the throttle. In a moment, I was thrown back into my seat as the big SRT8's engine came to life with commensurate sound, fury and force, bringing me up to 75 mph in what felt like two blinks of an eye. This thing feels so much quicker than its 470 horsepower and 470 pound-feet of torque would lead you to believe. And mashing the right pedal never, ever gets old.
But beyond sheer speed, I found a whole lot to like about the Charger SRT8 during my week with the Pitch Black test car here in Detroit. And while the whole Super Bee kit isn't really my style, it's really easy to overlook those badges for a package that offers so much for so little.
