It has scratches and the dash has two cracks, it has a transmission leak too. I bought it wrecked in the right front and put a fender on it and got it painted, I had the two front seats recovered and a 440 & 727 motor and transmission out of a motor home that had around 33k miles, I have driven the car approx. 5k miles this summer, all hwy. miles, as I live in a small country town and the nearest town is 12 miles. There are things that need to be done to complete the project, but I have been driving it just like it is for 5K miles. All the tires, shocks, gas tank, brakes, bearings & exhaust are new and the car has been fun to drive all summer. There is small leaks, scratches, dings, the headliner, etc.... that will need to be replaced if you are looking to finish restoring the car. This is a factory AC car, but I never got around to getting it working, it does have heat and a new heater core."

This is a solid car as you can see from the pictures. It is 40 years old, so if you are looking for a show car or restored car this is not the one. If you are looking for a car that you can check the fluids once a week and drive every day then this may be the car. This is a factory AC car but I never got it working. I did put a new heater core in it and the and the blower motor works to produce decent heat - I have the hoses unhook for the summer, but they can be hooked up in a few min's when it's time for heat. I have bought many parts to make sure the car is safe and looked good enough to drive for the past 6 months and I have enjoyed it very much. I owned a car identical to this in high school and always wanted another one. I painted it the same color and upgraded to a 440. I have bought a 73 Barracuda and a 440 with a blower and I am getting ready to start that project and have decided to sell this car and a Pro Street S10 w/nitrous, see my other listing.

I have bought so many new parts that I just cant remember them all, but I figured I spent around $12k so far. I have a few things like the rubber gasket that goes around the inside of the trunk lid, an oil pressure gauge, etc.. that are laying around and never got put on the car. I did buy new original seat covers for the front seats, new exhaust tips, shocks, tires, gas tank, shocks, water pump, valve covers, headers, aluminum intake, cd player & speakers, halogen headlight bulbs, Big Block aluminum radiator, multiple front end parts, etc... before I began driving this year. I have been able to enjoy it all summer. It will need a new wiring harness, as I have bypassed some of the original wiring to make the wipers work and put a puch button in the hole on the dash from the wiper switch, the  headliner sags and I have sewn it myself in a few places, body work is not a show quality & new paint job is scratched up at door seam, front splash pan, here and there too; it also has a transmission leak and the pump appears to be weak in the transmission. You have to let the car warm up before you try to back up or it seems sluggish, goes forward just fine and they tell me its the pump? I do not know but you have been told; it also has a small oil leak somewhere? So DO NOT COME TO TRY AND NIT PICK THE CAR AFTER YOU HAVE WON IT. MAKE THE DEPOSIT IN 24 HOURS AND COME PICK UP THE CAR WITH CASH IN YOUR HAND ( DEAD PRESIDENTS ONLY ).
You can buy this car just like it is and enjoy it right away as I have been doing for the past 6 month, but I do want to give full disclosure.
The lights, wipers, gas gauge, etc... work, the motor runs really good and the transmission shifts great; it sounds good, looks good and people are always giving thumbs up and talking to me at the gas station. The windows roll up and down, etc...

On Oct-09-13 at 16:03:47 PDT, seller added the following information:

Please email me with any questions you may before you bid; and please read the entire listing to include the condition description. If you are a serious buyer and would like to talk just send an email with your phone number. I would rather you have all your questions answered now and be sure you are happy with your purchase.

You see the car is no rust bucket, but be sure you understand the the car was hit in the front right and I put a fender on it. I straightened out the hood and repaired it the best I could to ride. This is a driver, not a show car, although it has potential. It leaks some fluids and could use some body work and a paint job. The pictures were taken 1 hour before the listing was created and I currently have the car tagged and insured in my name with a clear title, so don't be scared off by my forward approach to the things wrong, because theres a bunch of things right about this car too.

Here are the cars Fast 8 characters will drive in Iceland

Tue, Jun 28 2016

The eighth installment of the Fast & Furious franchise will feature some characteristic wheel-to-wheel adventuring, this time on Icelandic ice. As revealed by the F&F production team, here are some of the vehicles that will be seen in the film. What else could Dominic Toretto drive than a Dodge? The previous film showed a Charger fitted for off-road driving, and this time the classic shape has been formed into an ice racer. The muscle car is still recognizable, but the altered wheelbase and fender flares make this something quite different. And as the bullet holes testify, the matte black machine is definitely going to see some action. Letty drives a Local Motors Rally Fighter, which might be the best fit for the ice scenes. The off-road coupe has been modified with a brush bar and some serious roof-mounted lights. Roman will be seen behind the wheel of an orange Lamborghini Murcielago, easily standing out in the frozen wastes. To top it off, there are some tank-like machines: There's a tracked Ripsaw for Tej Parker and an "Ice Ram" for Hobbs, who is played by Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson. Both of these look like mean machines, and on the screen they'll probably prove to be the admission ticket's worth. 2019 Dodge Charger R/T Scat Pack vs. 2018 Kia Stinger GT Comparison | Big bargain bruisers

Fri, Aug 2 2019

The Kia Stinger GT is a sporty midsize sedan with a sleek hatchback roof and a luxurious interior, so it makes sense that it's frequently been compared to high-end German cars of a similar description. While it has generally faired quite well against the likes of the Audi A5 Sportback and BMW 4 Series Gran Coupe despite its commoner badge, it's unclear how many potential Audi and BMW buyers are going to also consider a Kia. So, what else can be thrown at it? Well, the Stinger has a bold, brash exterior the Germans can’t match, while boasting loads of space, features and performance at a discount price. You know what that sounds like? The Dodge Charger, which we recently had in the Autoblog garage. It's not exactly an apples-to-apples choice – bigger, no hatch, a pair of extra cylinders – but the two sedans are close on price, especially the 2019 Dodge Charger R/T Scat Pack that arrived at our office with an MSRP of $46,075. ThatÂ’s just a few hundred less than our long-term StingerÂ’s price of $46,620. So I decided to try them back-to-back to see which is the better bargain bruiser. 2018 Kia Stinger View 11 Photos The Charger takes an early lead with its 6.4-liter naturally aspirated V8, which generates 485 horsepower and 470 pound-feet of torque – a big advantage over the StingerÂ’s 365 horses and 376 pound-feet. But itÂ’s not just the power that gives it the edge, itÂ’s that it makes all the right sounds, and itÂ’s so smooth and responsive. Any amount of throttle yields a charmingly round, mellow sound, with just a hint of grit. ItÂ’s vintage American rumble in a modern(ish) wrapper. Additionally, power is so smooth and progressive that itÂ’s easy to dial in the right amount. ThereÂ’s one minor exception in its controllability at launch, as it takes a moment for the torque converter to spin up, and a lazy foot can get the tires to yelp (yours truly and a couple other editors ran into this). The ZF eight-speed automatic shifts seamlessly, whether youÂ’re in automatic or manual mode. The Kia Stinger GTÂ’s twin-turbo 3.3-liter V6 is also a great engine, but it lacks the character and the finesse of the Charger's V8. While that giant 6.4-liter lets out a hearty roar, the Stinger keeps its mouth tightly shut. Only a low, generic mumble from the intake comes from under the hood. And as weÂ’ve talked about before, the throttle response is sluggish, and it takes a moment for boost to build.

It ain't easy keeping a Hellcat steady at 170 mph on ice

Mon, Mar 28 2016

The Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat you see hit the ice at Arsunda Speed Weekend in Sweden, over two hours north of Stockholm. It's said to be bone stock, save for the studded tires that help it grip on ice. But it apparently takes more than some steel studs and a lead foot to keep it pointed the right way. Just look at how much driver Alx Danielsson has to saw at the wheel to keep the Hellcat from veering off course. Fortunately he seems to have the chops to do so, being not only a native of Sweden (and therefor imbued from birth with otherworldly abilities to drive on ice) but also having won the highly competitive Formula Renault 3.5 Series championship back in 2006. In the end Danielsson hit a top speed in excess of 170 miles per hour, touted as some sort of record, however unofficial (and specific to Dodge Challengers). That's a fair bit shy of the 205 mph that Bentley achieved in the Continental Supersports, but while that model had slightly less power than the Hellcat, it did have the benefit of all-wheel drive – something that could make all the difference in these kinds of slippery conditions.
