1971 Dodge Challenger

This car was running and driving before taken apart by an amateur kid,it has a 383BB and automatic tranny.has all trim in trunk, aluminium wheels, new dashpad, new back seat but has a small hole in back, console is very nice..the shifter and brackets are still mounted in..new carpet halfway installed.ralleye dash is nice, very nice floorboards..i have the hood and most all pieces to put back together. This car needs the roof fixed or replaced.it has rust from vinyl top, amatuer kid tried putting bondo on it and did a very poor job.lower 1/4s have bondo but don't know how bad it is underneath it but I found a rust free shell with good roof and 1/4s for $400 in Kansas.ill give buyer the info if you want so you can purchase it yourself.i will not purchase it but will hook you up with information.also needs trunk pan replaced,,,feel free to call me with any questions at 417-234-5154...Im listing this car at a low price with no reserve. So bid high and bid often....I do have a CLEAR TITLE IN HAND..I can also have engine and all parts on and in car for transport.. I require $750 within 24hrs of auction ending and remainder within 5 days of auction ending...Buyer is responsible for shipping.. you can let car sit here for up to 30 days with no storage fee if need to but after that it will be a $20.00 charge per month there after that will need to be paid in full at beginning of each month needed. but no matter how long you need to let sit here car will need to be paid in full within that 5 days of auction ending..I also use paypal but buyer will be responsible to pay paypal fees that they charge to use this service to send money. I do accept money order but note the car will not move until I know that the money order has cleared, sorry but there are too many fakes out there...HAPPY BIDDING.........

Also note I do have this car for sale locally and do reserve the right to end this auction at any given point of time if it does sell locally first... thanks

Dodge offers 100 years of solid advice in new ad

Fri, 18 Apr 2014

This is a cool ad. Dodge, which is celebrating its centennial this year, recruited some of its peers to see what you should and shouldn't do in life. Of course, some are obvious - don't complain, learn from your mistakes and live for now.
Then again, some are less obvious. Some, actually, are downright awesome. Towards the end, each piece of advice is interspersed with clips of Dodge's redesigned Challenger smoking its tires. Really, this ad feels like it'd be worthy of a Super Bowl spot. This commercial's personal nature is really in keeping with some of the big game's most interesting ads, like the Imported From Detroit commercial, the Farmer ad and Maserati's surprise clip from this year's game.
Take a look below and let us know what you think.

Watch this Dodge Viper get clawed to death

Tue, 07 Jan 2014

There's a scene in the James Bond movie, Casino Royale, where Daniel Craig's Agent 007 is captured by villain Le Chiffre, played by Mads Mikkelsen. Le Chiffre tortures Bond in a scene that is rather difficult to watch (especially for blokes) and impossible to describe on these digital pages (Google at your own risk). This video is the automotive equivalent of the Casino Royale torture scene.
It shows a Dodge Viper - a late, first-generation GTS judging by the center-exit exhausts - getting assaulted by a giant piece of heavy equipment. The large claw shows no mercy on the V10-powered sports car, rending its muscular curves into pieces and then running it over, just for good measure. It's a painful video to watch (and hear!), made worse because we don't know what the Viper did to deserve such a fate. About a third of the way through the video, the cameraman indicates that the man with the claw is a new operator from Chrysler, and it appears there may be some fire damage, but beyond that, we don't have much to go on.
Scroll down for the video but be warned, it isn't for the faint of heart.

Dodge celebrates centennial with Charger and Challenger 100th Anniversary Editions

Tue, 19 Nov 2013

In 1914, the Dodge brothers went from being a parts supplier to a full-scale automaker, and to celebrate the centennial of this milestone, Dodge will offer special editions of the 2014 Charger and Challenger early next year. Both cars will be sold in limited numbers (although no specific number was given), and these cars will stand out thanks to unique touches like 20-inch wheels, 100th anniversary edition logos and the exclusive High Octane Red Pearl Coat paint job (shown above).
The 100th Anniversary Edition package, which runs $2,200 on the 2014 Charger and $2,500 on the 2014 Challenger, comes with red or black leather seats with a cloud print (for a denim-like look) and metal badges on the seatbacks that read "Dodge Est. 1914," while similar logos are also found on the wheel center caps and front fenders. The instrument gauges are unique to each car, with the Charger getting black gauges and the Challenger getting white gauges, and to enunciate the 100-year anniversary, both cars have red numerals on the speedometer for the 100-mile-per-hour mark.
Finishing off the 100th Anniversary Edition cars, which will be offered on V6 and R/T models, Dodge adds a flat-bottom steering wheel and embroidered floor mats as a part of the package. Scroll down for the full press release for these commemorative models.
