This is a real-deal 340 six-pack 1970 Challenger T/A!!
It is in need of a complete restoration. I bought it a few years ago to restore, but I simply do not have the time to do it. Garage kept since 2004 when I bought it. Its FE5 Red with a black interior. Non Vinyl Top,4-speed car. I have 3, yes 3!!! broadcast sheets for the car. One is absolutely mint!!! When I bought the car it came with the "original" Block and another '70 340. I say "original", because the last 2 number on the block do not match. The last 6 are 296465 to the car and the block is stamped 296424. From my research, to find a stamped block so close in numbers is almost impossible. And the 424 number is not in the AAR or T/A registries. So I fully believe it was a factory screw up. The cars body is pretty solid. There is a new main floor and 4 speed hump. The rear foot wells need to be replaced and I am including the AMD replacement floors... The trunk floor is solid. The interior, hood,and left side (controls) of the Ralleye dash are missing. Its basically a roller with the key parts included. I have new bumpers and some misc parts too. I'm located near Coopersburg PA. Car is avail to be seen. Odometer states 57,100. Ron Burgundy returns for four more Dodge Durango ads
Mon, 04 Nov 2013Dodge has released several more of its Anchorman 2-themed commercials, starring Will Ferrell as inept newsreader Ron Burgundy. The four spots, one of which is a sequel to a previous commercial, follow roughly the same pattern as previous ads, with Ferrell's Burgundy misunderstanding or generally making a fool of himself. For some of the ads, though, Burgundy is selling more than just Durangos - the red-suited host of San Diego's most watched news broadcast shilling the entire Dodge lineup.
We've included all four ads down below, and you can also hope over to our original posts to see some of the older commercials. Oh, and if you're getting tired of these - we aren't, aside from the Do-dge spot - just remember that Ferrell reportedly filmed around 70 ads for Dodge.
2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat en route to dealers

But rather than just have the big coupes quietly arrive at dealers, Dodge has released this video, showing Hellcats loading up onto car carriers at Fiat-Chrysler's Brampton, Ontario plant. And yes, that is Mötley Crüe's "Kickstart My Heart" playing in the background. Of course.
This really is worth all the fanfare, though, considering Dodge will sell its ridiculously powerful, supercharged machine for just $59,995. And if the Challenger isn't quite up your alley, just remember, there's an equally powerful, 204-mph, four-door Charger Hellcat on the way...
Chrysler recalling 278,222 trucks and SUVs over bad rear axles
Thu, 14 Feb 2013Chrysler has issued a recall of 278,222 light trucks and sport utility vehicles here in the United States. The reason: bad rear axles. Specifically, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the rear axle pinion nut may lack a necessary adhesive patch, which could cause the nut to loosen. If this happens, the axle can lock up, which could cause all sorts of havoc on the road.
This is an expansion of the rear axle recall announced in October of last year, where 44,300 Ram 1500 and Dodge Dakota models were being called in. At that time, 12 accidents had been reported due to the faulty axle pinion nut.
Affected vehicles include Ram 1500 trucks from the 2009 to 2012 model years, Dodge Dakota models from the 2009 to 2011 model years, and both the Chrysler Aspen and Dodge Durango SUV twins, both from the 2009 model year only.
