READ MY AD CAREFULLY AND TO ITS FULLEST!!!!

I am the 3rd owner of this vehicle, I purchased it in 2011. The previous owner had it 30 years and the original owner had it for 10. The car was purchased in 1980 by the previous owner. The car was originally from long island NY, and wound up in orange county NY. I purchased it off the second owner in 2011 making me the third owner of the vehicle. This is a WANT to sell not a MUST sell auction. The car is very nice, I drive it a few times a month and its truly a pleasure to own and drive. I am selling it because I am looking to invest money into my business. The car is nice and needs only minor things. I drive it as is and take it to car shows the way it is.

There is a NON-refundable $500 deposit at the auction end. The deposit is due IMMEDIATELY at the auction end. Otherwise the car will be sold to next highest bidder. CALL ME (845) 987 9267 if you have questions. I have made videos and took a tremendous amount of pictures for the sale of the car.

I have been told this car is NUMBERS MATCH.. However I could care less and I have not taken time to look. The car has an automatic transmission and 318 V8 engine. The rear end is the original.

Up for sale is my 1970 DODGE Challenger R/T clone. The car is clean inside and out! It is truly a pleasure to own and even better pleasure to drive. The car has a 318 V8 engine, and an automatic transmission. The interior is clean, has no rips or damages, ALL of the gauges work except the clock, the speedometer (not hooked up due to wrong transmission speed gear) and the oil pressure gauge is also disconnected. The car has a great stereo system, (aftermarket) and all of the power windows work, the heat works, the lights all work, the horn, the cigarette lighter and interior lights. The car starts right up every time, and runs and drives very well however the suspension squeaks a bit due to bad sway bar link bushings. The vinyl top is in great condition however there is a bit of bubbling underneath. I have extra metal parts (included in the sale) incase anyone wants to cut and weld new parts onto the car. The engine was rebuilt in 2005, transmission was rebuilt in 2002. The rear end is Original and does Hum when driven at high speeds and might need to be rebuilt. The car is pretty solid, has all original metal and original floor pans. The undercarriage is CLEAN!! no major rust of problems. The car leaks a little oil (Im pretty sure its from the valve cover on the drivers side.) Its a matter of time before I can fix it. The interior is all clean, looks good. The car is parked all the time in a climate controlled garage. I have taken time to also put pictures up of any of the damages or issues. The engine runs great, transmission shifts great and it drives well. This car is NOT show room but its very nicely put together makes a beautiful driver, there are no wavy panels and the car looks great!! The car has disc brakes (front) drums in the rear. I welcome questions (845) 987 9267 Thanks.

Please feel free to ask me for any additional pictures Thanks

Dodge Durango gets the Blacktop treatment

Sat, 09 Aug 2014

The Dodge Durango is getting a meaner, more aggressive look as it becomes the latest model from the brand to wear the Blacktop Appearance Package. The upgrades are strictly cosmetic, but they lend the SUV a more assertive demeanor that some buyers like.
Available on the SXT, Limited and R/T (shown above) models, all Blacktop Durangos get black 20-inch wheels, dual exhaust, bod- color fascia and gloss black trim. The grille surround, air dam, mirrors and headlight surrounds all get the inky treatment, as well. The improvements add $1,590 to the cost of the SXT. They come to $1,990 on the Limited but also include HID headlights with LED running lights and a leather interior. Finally, R/T buyers only need to pay $295 for the upgrades. The Blacktop Durango hits showrooms this October.
If you're already in the market for a Durango but want a dash more style with no added performance, the Blacktop might not be a bad way to go. It certainly gives the SUV a bit more edge than it has in stock form. Scroll down to read the full release.

Chrysler recalls 350k vehicles over ignition switches

Thu, 25 Sep 2014

Chrysler has announced a recall covering 349,442 vehicles due to ignition switches that can either become stuck or move without warning. All of the affected vehicles are from the 2008 model year, and were built before May 12, 2008.
The automaker has learned that ignition keys on some vehicles "may not fully return to the 'ON' position after rotation to the 'START' position during engine-startup," the company said in a statement. Additionally, "an ignition key may not fully return to the 'ON' position after rotation to the 'START' position and may inadvertently move through the 'ON' position to 'ACCESSORY' or 'OFF.'"
Chrysler says it is unaware of any related injuries, and notes that while reduced braking, engine or steering power is possible in such instances, the airbags are not affected. The later stands in contrast to General Motors' recent rash of high-profile recalls, and it's an important distinction that Chrysler (understandably) felt necessary to call out in bold print in its press release.

Aficionauto drives Vin Diesel's fast and furious 1970 Dodge Charger

Mon, 15 Sep 2014

The Aficionauto host Christopher Rutkowski has a real passion for original and replica cars from movies and television, whether they are from James Bond, Jurassic Park, or incredibly obscure Japanese shows. However, he might have outdone himself this time because he hopped into one of the biggest automotive stars of contemporary cinema. This 1970 Dodge Charger appeared in Fast & Furious and came back in Fast Five, where Paul Walker actually drove it. The menacing, black muscle car will make its return to the franchise in the seventh film, too.
The Fast and Furious Charger is a real beast no matter how you look at it. The interior is nothing more than two seats and a roll cage, and as the video shows, this thing vibrates constantly like a coiled mass of muscle ready to strike. The camera can barely stay in place most of the time. Also, Dom's Dodge is more than happy to do a smoky burnout and leave the driver partially deaf afterward from its wonderful, ear-splitting engine roar.
The Aficionauto also interviews the man who controls the keys to this beast. Bob Hartwig was once an F-15 pilot, but he also loved Hollywood vehicles. Now, he's a partner at Picture Car Warehouse, a company with about 850 cars that supplies vehicles to film studios. This Charger definitely seems to be Hartwig's favorite in the collection, as it should be.
