2005 Chrysler Town & Country Touring comes with Stow n' Go ( 2 bucket seats in second row and the third row will completely stow away for maximum load capacity )! Vehicle comes loaded with all power equipment ( front and passenger seats, windows, sliding doors and back door ) Everything is working but the driver window which stopped operating last week. I don't know what it is and I don't have the time to deal with it. I called the dealer and he said it could be a fuse for a couple bucks or the door switch for $ 100 or worst case the window motor for $ 300 to repair. So take this into your consideration bidding on this item. Other than the window there are no known mechanical defects. Some fabric on ceiling is getting lose and needs to be glued back on. The van is running great and is serving as a daily driver. Engine is running great and was always tuned and serviced as scheduled. A/C working great and is blowing ice cold air if desired. Vehicle was always stored in garage and needed repairs were done at one of our local service stores right away ( alternator, battery, and other minor repairs ) We bought the van with less than 20000 miles and used it now for about 140000 miles and there were no big problems. But I need anyone to understand that this is a used vehicle and there is no warranty. This van comes with Navigation and DVD movie system for multiple movies to be stored in the player. We just bought a brand new Chrysler Town & Country Limited and our Touring needs to go. That's why we offer this van at NO RESERVE!!! Six arrested from chop shop linked to Dream Cruise thefts
Sun, Sep 20 2015The spirit of this year's Woodward Dream Cruise was dampened after a rash of car thefts were reported. The vehicles included a 1966 Chrysler 300 Deluxe, a 1966 Chevrolet Corvette, and a replica of the 1971 Chevrolet Camaro owned by the founder of Papa John's Pizza. While these thefts outraged the collector car community, that same tight-knit group is now breathing a sigh of relief, as those responsible are behind bars. Detroit Police arrested six people – three adults and three teens – on Thursday, September 17, in connection with a chop shop operation linked to the collector car thefts. According to The Detroit News, one suspect is still at large. There's concern among Dearborn police that the same group responsible for the Dream Cruise thefts boosted some vehicles from a Ford factory. While the Camaro was recovered mostly whole and found in a giant bush on Detroit's west side, the fate of the Corvette or Chrysler has not been made known. Ferrari families have 'agreement' to prevent takeover
Thu, Oct 22 2015With its initial public offering already a massive success, Ferrari is now officially a publicly traded company on the New York Stock Exchange. While anyone can buy those shares, don't expect investors to take control away from some of the top owners of the Prancing Horse anytime soon. To maintain their power, Enzo Ferrari's son, Piero, and Exor chairman John Elkann will sign a deal guaranteeing themselves nearly half of the automaker's voting rights, Bloomberg reports. As part of this arrangement, shareholders that agree to hang onto Ferrari stock for at least three years would receive additional voting rights in the company, and that would give Piero and Elkann a combined 48.7 percent of the automaker by banding together. While not quite complete control, the move should be enough to prevent a takeover of the business. "We have an agreement among the families to protect our interests in Ferrari," Piero said to Bloomberg. This agreement won't really become a concern until next year because only 10 percent of Ferrari will be traded for now. FCA will distribute another 80 percent to its shareholders in early 2016, and Elkann's Exor will be getting the largest portion of the Prancing Horse in the spin-off. Meanwhile, Piero holds the remaining 10 percent but has absolutely no intention to sell his stake in his father's business. The newly public Ferrari will push to grow volume with a goal of moving 9,000 vehicles annually by 2019. To reach that 30-percent boost, expect to see a new model every year, and some of them might use a new, modular platform that's reportedly under development. Related Video:
Chrysler 300 Glacier edition ready to chill with AWD
Sat, 19 Jan 2013It seems that word is finally out on the redone Chrysler 300, as evidenced by the fact that the model's sales almost doubled last year compared to 2011 (when the distinctive sedan was a little slow out of the gates). One thing that's likely helping the car is a growing number of unique models like the 300S, 300 SRT8 and the new 300C John Varvatos Luxury Edition, and now one more trim has joined the lineup. Initially announced back in September, the 300 Glacier is on sale now with a starting price of $36,845 (*not including a $995 destination charge).
Designed with cold-weather climates in mind, the 300 Glacier is only available with all-wheel drive. Chrysler says the Glacier will run an additional $1,500 over the 300S AWD off which this car is based, but that extra money gets unique 19-inch aluminum wheels, an exclusive Glacier Blue Pearl Coat paint job and special interior treatments including piano black accents and fancier leather seats and stitching. Like the 300S, power from the Pentastar V6 has been bumped up to an even 300 horsepower (up from 292 hp) with the aid of a cold-air induction and freer-breathing exhaust. Naturally, the 363-hp Hemi V8 is still available, too.
