Small number of 2013 Chrysler 200 and Dodge Avenger models recalled
Sun, 24 Feb 2013A small number of units of the 2013 Chrysler 200 (inset) and 2013 Dodge Avenger are being recalled over a broken control valve in the fuel tank assembly. The potential 1,785 sedans were manufactured late last year, and if affected with a broken control valve could suffer from stalling or fuel leakage.
A bulletin from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration notes that the recall should begin next month, at which time owners can take their cars to dealers for repair free of charge. The full release with more information is just below.

Some still use brochures, which direct you to a website to download the relevant files. And then there's Chrysler, which often dreams up elaborate packages to transport the information and make a big impact. That's what it did for the 2017 Chrysler Pacifica, which made its debut in gasoline and plug-in hybrid versions at the 2016 North American International Auto Show earlier this month. Chrysler nets $1.6B income in Q4, Fiat profit up 5%
Wed, 29 Jan 2014Chrysler announced its 2013 financial results today and unveiled its new name and decidedly bank-like logo. Amid the announcement, Chrysler posted big gains in income, while Fiat didn't perform to analysts' expectations.
For 2013, Chrysler had revenue of $72.1 billion, up 10 percent from 2012. Net income reached $2.8 billion, a 65-percent increase. It was the company's third straight year of annual profits.
In terms of unit sales, Chrysler sold 2.4 million cars worldwide in 2013, up 9 percent. According to Automotive News, 1.8 million of those vehicles were sold in the US, a 14-percent increase. The sales growth boosted Chrysler's US market share to 11.4 percent, up 0.2 percent.
