1999 Chrysler Town & Country Lxi Mini Passenger Van 4-door 3.8l - Gold on 2040-cars
Camp Verde, Arizona, United States
Rainbow Acres, a Christian community for developmentally-disabled adults, is selling this 1999 Chrysler Town & Country LXi minivan. Originally purchased in November 1998, it was used by a member of our Board of Trustees for his personal use, then donated to us in 2006. We've since used it to transport our residents and staff. During the time we've owned it, it has been maintained by our on-site mechanic.
This vehicle is sold AS IS. There are a few problems with it. The driver's seat is torn. The transmission slips. It needs new tires. And a new water pump might be necessary. But it does run and has been used to travel around our local area. The winning bidder must pay a deposit of $500 by PayPal within 48 hours of the end of the auction. Full payment is due within 7 days of the end of the auction. If you win this auction, you must pick up the vehicle within 21 days of the end of the auction. If you do not make full payment within 7 days or pick up the vehicle within 21 days, you will forfeit the $500 deposit. The winning bidder is responsible for picking up and/or shipping the vehicle. We are not a dealer and we are not able to arrange shipping for you. Rainbow Acres is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization. Although your purchase can't be considered a donation, know that eBay's Giving Works program will ensure that your entire purchase price goes to support our mission. |

Chrysler celebrates 30 years of minivans with special editions
Tue, 03 Sep 2013It's been known by many names: the Chrysler Town & Country, Dodge Caravan, Plymouth Voyager, Chrysler Voyager, Lancia Voyager, Volkswagen Routan, Ram Cargo Van... but the bottom line is that Chrysler's minivans have defined the segment for 30 years now. In fact, Chrysler says it has sold 13 million of them since 1983, helped along by the Chrysler Town & Country and Dodge Grand Caravan that accounted for nearly half of all minivans sold in the United States just last year. So to celebrate this three-decade milestone, the Auburn Hills auto has announced a pair of new special editions.
The 2014 Chrysler Town & Country 30th Anniversary Edition starts the Touring-L trim and includes such special touches as 17-inch wheels, unique badging, available Granite Crystal Pearl paint and an interior decked out in black Alcantara and Nappa leather, piano black trim and all the optional bells and whistles bundled in.
The 2014 Dodge Grand Caravan 30th Anniversary Edition, meanwhile, starts off with either the SE or SXT trims and also upgrades with 17-inch alloys as well as color-keyed mirrors and an interior with silver stitching, piano black trim, power everything, and of course, those special badges.
Chrysler readying 20 Moparized vehicles for SEMA
Tue, 08 Oct 2013The Las Vegas Convention Center has plenty of space for aftermarket companies and automakers to show off their wares, and it looks like Chrysler is taking advantage of the spacious floor plan. At next month's SEMA Show, Chrysler will have a full 20 cars from its six brands decked out with Mopar gear.
As a hint of what is to come, Chrysler released a handful of teaser sketches showing glimpses of modified Jeep Cherokee, Ram 1500, Fiat 500L and Chrysler 300 concept vehicles. The automaker will also use the venue to show off a new line of Jeep Performance Parts offered by the all-new Mopar Off-Road Division. In addition to the images, Chrysler also issued a brief press release - posted below - breaking down some of the "industry-first features" that Mopar has offered in recent years.
We aren't the only ones who want a Chrysler Pacifica Hellcat
Wed, Jan 27 2016Yes, you read that correctly: Chrysler. Pacifica. Hellcat. We want one. It's definitely not happening. But that doesn't mean we – and the FCA designers – can't dream, right? That's what led to this sketch, posted on Instagram by Fiat-Chrysler design boss Ralph Gilles. It looks pretty sweet, including that hella important wing for maximum downforce, yo. As long as we're dreaming, we've got a few other requests. Let's put that 707-horsepower, 6.2-liter, supercharged V8 in the middle of the van. Screw the Stow 'N Go seats – let's get that engine mounted as low in the car's midsection as possible. And while we're at it, let's go for rear-wheel drive. And a six-speed manual transmission. And a third row of seats behind the engine, but rear-facing, so we can make our friends puke. This content is hosted by a third party. To view it, please update your privacy preferences. To refresh your memory, it's a totally new van, and will even be offered in Hybrid spec with an 80-mile-per-gallon-equivalent rating. Sounds impressive. Oh, heck. Hellcats > Hybrids. Ralph, we urge you to make this one a reality. Related Video:
