ABOUT  US :

Thank so much for visiting our Ebay listing.  We can't tell you how much we appreciate you taking the time to look at one of our vehicles.

I always think it's nice to know a little about who you are dealing with when it comes to making a big purchase so here is a little history on Gardelli Motors.

Gardelli Motors is a mom and pop operation based in London, Ontario Canada. My name is Paul and my wife is Maria.  You will always deal with one of us, not a sales person.  We're a mid size dealership that probably averages 40-50 cars in inventory depending on the time of year.  We have been in the car business for over 15 years now and started out with one lonely little car.

I can proudly  tell you that we are one of the very original car dealers to start selling cars on Ebay.  We were selling cars on Ebay.com before EbayMotors.com even existed.  Vehicles was just a small sub-category on Ebay.com.   We were previously in the advertising business so we took a little different approach to representing our cars online.  Back then sellers had very basic listings and only posted a few photos of their car.  It might be hard to believe but I can honestly tell you that we were the very first seller to go all out and put up what I called extreme listings.  We would routinely show over 100 photos of our cars. This was unheard of back then. Did it ever work well.  Today most sellers use the same technique but we were the first.

Ebay was actually the reason we got in the car business.  We were not even a car dealer when we starting putting vehicles for sale on Ebay.  We started by selling our own car and then we helped a few friends sell their cars.  They had been trying for weeks with no luck. We put their cars on Ebay and had them sold in a week.  They couldn't believe it and to be honest neither could we.  The system worked so well that becoming a licensed dealer was the only logical thing to do.  The rest as they say is history.

I don't know where the time has gone but it's been a pretty wild ride over the years having sold hundreds of vehicles of all types to people literally all over the world and we've loved every minute of it.

Thank you very much Ebay Community !

PRISTINE  CONDITION  INSIDE  &  OUT

Gardelli Motors is very pleased to present this extra clean condition & fully loaded 2006 CHRYSLER TOWN & COUNTRY LIMITED extended minivan with leather upholstry and factory DVD system.  This van is extremely clean inside and out. The condition of the van does not reflect the mileage at all.  We recently took the van in on trade from the previous owners. They were an older retired couple and they were the second owner of the van. They purchased it from a Chrysler store. The mileage is mostly highway driving as they travelled a lot to go south and to visit their kids that lived in other cities. It is obvious from the condition that the van, both visually and mechanically, that it has been very well kept and well cared for. The van has been through our mechanic shop and given a full and very comprehensive mechanical inspection. They said the van was a 9.5 out of 10. The front brakes measured 10 mils and the rear brakes measured 8 mils. New brakes are 10 mils. The only thing they said the van needed was in inner tie rod end so we had that done. We are selling it Certified and E-Tested.  Everything works properly and the car runs and drives flawlessly.  Did I mention how clean the car is.

The exterior color of this Town & Country Limited is absolutely beautiful.

DRIVES  LIKE  A  DREAM

This van looks absolutely amazing.  Not just the condition but the color combination truly looks great.  Since I have 3 kids, my family and I have driven this van quite a bit and it and runs & drives perfectly.  The leather upholstery is all in excellent condition with the exception of the crack in the driver's seat which there is a photo of below. This spot always seems to crack so it was not a surprise to see. The dash is very clean. The van has not been smoked in. The carpet is all very clean. There is a stain in the rear cargo area where some bleach spilt, nothing serious though. There is a photo below of this also. The engine is super clean and runs perfectly as you would expect of the 3.8 Litre engine.  I really can not fault this van in any way.

The tires have lots of tread left on them. The rear tires do have some weather cracking between the tread. This van shows all the signs of being a very well taken care of vehicle by the previous owner.

Please have a look at all the photos below, there are well over 100 of them.  If you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask me anything anytime, my phone is always on and I am here to help in any way that I can. My job is to make your purchase goes smoothly without any issues and that you are comfortable every step of the way.

We welcome and encourage pre-purchase inspections on all of our vehicles at any local mechanic shop. Naturally this would be at your expense.

Everything on the van works properly including the air conditioning, dvd and cd player. There are 2 head sets in the van from the former owner but one is broken and the other is missing the battery cover. From my experience due to health concerns most people prefer to just purchase new headsets from their kids.

This car comes fully certified and emission tested to meet Ontario standards according to MTO laws and regulations.  Mechanically everything on the car is very good.  I would not hesitate to drive the van to Florida tomorrow.  Come to think of it, that sounds like a pretty good idea !  It is a used vehicle so somenormal wear and tear is to be expected but I can honestly describe this van as having well below average wear and tear for the age and mileage. You will see photos of imperfections below.

****** NO HIDDEN FEES ******* NO  SURPRISES *******

All of our vehicles come with a copy of the CarProof Vehicle History Report or an AutoCheck Vehicle History Report both of which disclose any accidents or insurance claims against the vehicle.  It was recently made the law in Ontario that this information be disclosed to the buyer by the selling dealer. We have always practiced full disclosure on any vehicle we sell.  If you would like to see the report please email us and we will send you a copy.  Copyright laws do not allow me to reproduce it in this listing. With respect to this particular vehicle, the previous owner did have an incident with a dear that had aspirations of becoming a hood ornament back in 2009.  There was some front end damage to the van that was repaired properly and paid for by the insurance company. The total claim was $9,356. To put this figure in perspective, it includes 13% tax and what ever expenses the insurance company paid out in relation to the accident like car rental, towing, paint and body work, parts, labor, medical etc. When you consider everything that the claim covers it helps to put the actual damage amount in perspective. This van drives perfectly straight down the road. Please bid with confidence knowing that you have been given a 100% honest description. I am very picky about the vehicles I sell, especially the ones I put on Ebay Motors. If I had any concerns about the van what so ever I would just send it to the auction to sell. The fact is it's just too nice a van to do that.

Reid Bigland appointed CEO of Alfa Romeo, Maserati

Tue, May 24 2016

There's been a big shakeup in Fiat Chrysler's leadership team, as head of US sales and FCA Canada CEO Reid Bigland will replace Harald Wester as the chief exec for Alfa Romeo and Maserati. Wester will retain his position as chief technical officer of FCA. Both men will hang onto their positions on FCA's Group Executive Council. The move is an interesting one considering the widely publicized issues at both Alfa and Maserati. Alfa Romeo's problems are almost too many to list. The brand has promised a full-scale return to the US market for more than a decade, but faced repeated delays. Its latest volume model, the Giulia, is being savaged by reviewers over quality issues, and the company has frequently pushed its upcoming CUV back. If that were the only problem, it'd be annoying, but according to Automotive News, Alfa's relaunch is also considerably over budget. Maserati is an entirely different can of worms. Alongside Alfa, it's been stung by a slow Chinese market. Profits are down, according to Automotive News, and it's been widely rumored that the company will delay its next sports car, the Alfieri, until 2018 – it was previously promised for this year. Meanwhile, two of its three other models, the Quattroporte and GranTurismo, are dangerously long in the tooth, and the Levante is still months away from US sales. Can Bigland sort these issues out? Maybe. As Sergio Marchionne said in his official statement, "[Bigland] has an extraordinary record of growing sales and market share in the US and Canada over the last 7 years at FCA, including leading the growth and positioning of the Ram and Dodge brands for part of that time."

The problem with how automakers confront hacking threats

Thu, Jul 30 2015

More than anyone, Chris Valasek and Charlie Miller are responsible for alerting Americans to the hacking perils awaiting them in their modern-day cars. In 2013, the pair of cyber-security researchers followed in the footsteps of academics at the University of Cal-San Diego and University of Washington, demonstrating it was possible to hack and control cars. Last summer, their research established which vehicles contained inherent security weaknesses. In recent weeks, their latest findings have underscored the far-reaching danger of automotive security breaches. From the comfort of his Pittsburgh home, Valasek exploited a flaw in the cellular connection of a Jeep Cherokee and commandeered control as Miller drove along a St. Louis highway. Remote access. No prior tampering with the vehicle. An industry's nightmare. As a result of their work, FCA US recalled 1.4 million cars, improving safety for millions of motorists. For now, Valasek and Miller are at the forefront of their profession. In a few months, they could be out of jobs. Rather than embrace the skills of software and security experts in confronting the unforeseen downside of connectivity in cars, automakers have been doing their best to stifle independent cyber-security research. Lost in the analysis of the Jeep Cherokee vulnerabilities is the possibility this could be the last study of its kind. In September or October, the U.S. Copyright Office will issue a key ruling that could prevent third-party researchers like Valasek and Miller from accessing the components they need to conduct experiments on vehicles. Researchers have asked for an exemption in the Digital Millennial Copyright Act that would preserve their right to analyze cars, but automakers have opposed that exemption, claiming the software that runs almost every conceivable vehicle function is proprietary. Further, their attorneys have argued the complexity of the software has evolved to a point where safety and security risks arise when third parties start monkeying with the code. Their message on cyber security is, as it has been for years, that they know their products better than anyone else and that it's dangerous for others to meddle with them. But in precise terms, the Jeep Cherokee problems show this is not the case. Valasek and Miller discovered the problem, a security hole in the Sprint cellular connection to the UConnect infotainment system, not industry insiders.

Towing with the 2016 Ram lineup [w/video]

Mon, Nov 2 2015

I do not tow things. Ever. Yet I recently found myself at the Fiat Chrysler Automobiles proving grounds in Chelsea, MI, where I'd be testing the hauling capabilities of Ram's current product range. This experience was not only a perfect education for a towing novice like me, but allowed me to tow far more weight than I'd ever consider hauling the real world, and all within the safe confines of the Chelsea Proving Grounds. There was an extremely diverse array of vehicles at my disposal, including Ram's gasoline- and diesel-powered offerings with trucks ranging from the 1500 on up through the 5500 Chassis Cab, as well ProMaster vans. Beyond that, FCA brought out a number of vintage Dodge pickups for me to play with, while also working with Case IH to provide a track-loader I could test. I put together a range of videos covering everything from the classics to the production trucks to the construction equipment. And despite some technical difficulties – you'll notice a distinct lack of in-car videos, with blame going to a corrupted micro SD card – I've assembled ten videos that give an up-close look at Ram's offerings. 2015 Ram ProMaster City Let's start small. The ProMaster City only has a towing capacity of 2,000 pounds. That's a reasonably impressive figure for a van that uses the same powertrain as a Chrysler 200. The 2.4-liter four-cylinder and nine-speed automatic weren't really bothered with the extra weight added by the trailer. Even when accelerating at freeway speeds, the ProMaster City didn't feel out of breath or hampered by its load. That said, the rear of the van was unloaded, which probably wouldn't be the case for most consumers. It's unclear how the City would feel if its driver were taking advantage of the max payload (1,883 pounds) and towing. 2015 Ram ProMaster 1500 To be polite, the Ram ProMaster is a difficult vehicle to like. Its awkward seating position is bus-like and lacks the visibility enjoyed by the Ford Transit or the utter driving comfort of the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter. Its 3.0-liter, four-cylinder turbodiesel engine, meanwhile, is something of an anomaly. While it's potent for a four-cylinder diesel, producing 295 pound-feet of torque and 174 horsepower, those numbers don't feel all that impressive when loaded down. The model I tested was barely using half of its 5,100-pound maximum towing weight and was loaded down with just 500 of its 3,620-pound payload. Yet it lacked the pluckiness of the smaller City.
