Power Convertible top (all 4 windows go down too!)

We had this vehicle safety
inspected and the oil changed. The front and rear brakes are new the
tires are in great shape and the technician also said the air
conditioner compressor looked new.

Had to be "Garage" kept and never smoked in because the leather and
suede interior looks "Showroom" and the exterior finish glistens.

It's also clean underneath and must
have been in Florida for most of its life. We only buy clean Florida
"Rust Free" Nice Sebrings with Canvas tops.

"Canvas" Convertible top is important because the Canvas top
opposed to vinyl looks better, lasts longer and won't mold or mildew
like vinyl. This is the best top you can get with the rear glass window
with defroster.

Of course this Sebring is powered by Chrysler's famous
Magnesium 2.7L V6 DOHC 24 Valve MPI which creates 200 horsepower and
still yields 20 combined and 26 MPG's on the highway according to
fueleconomy.gov

Loaded with extras even for a Limited such as rear factory spoiler
Front grill and rear license plate backing all in Graphite Metallic Clear Coat
Monochromatic side view mirrors

16" Chrome wheels
ABS brakes

Fog lights

Now here's the great news.
We looked online and as usual most people want way more for a
comparable Sebring, $1000's more. I doubt theirs is as clean as ours.
Plus we are one of the few Dealers that doesn't have hidden fees
referred to as "Dealer Fees". They can add an extra $1000 to the final
price. Again we don't have any.

Front heated seats
Garage door opener and Autostick

Power windows, locks, trunk release and side view mirrors

Power drivers seat
Air bags

New floor mats

At Performance Autos we have sold over 560 Sebring
Convertibles in the last 11 1/2 years. Why so popular in Florida you may
ask? First of all they sit 5, can carry 4 sets of golf clubs in the
trunk, the tops are easy to use and they are reliable and inexpensive.
Compare to other Convertibles like a BMW that cost a fortune to buy and then fix.

I really love this Limited in the Graphite exterior,
light beige interior and Black canvas top. Looks great and if I'm not
mistaking, this interior is brand new or someone just put in new leather and suede.

Also included are books, owners manual, keyless entry with remote and original
factory sticker ($31,975)

Having so much history we also know how
to price our vehicles since we sell about 50 Sebring's a year. This one
is on sale on our lot for only $5990; however to help with shipping or
other transportation cost's we have made the buy it now make complete
sense at only $5388 and no extra "Dealer Fee".

We do not accept offers
because this is our best price. If you have any question call me right
now at (239) 895-3962 and "I WILL ANSWER". Thank you for your
consideration, Michael J Medinis, GSM, Performance Autos of SW Florida.

****PLEASE READ BEFORE BIDDING****

  • We ask that all successful bidders please contact me within 24 hours of auction end to begin process of completing the sale. Please do not make a bid on my car if you have no intention of buying it. Time is precious, let's not waste each other's. We promise to be fair to you, please do the same for us.
  • All vehicles are sold "as-is" with no warranty expressed or implied. Buyer assumes all responsibility once vehicle leaves our possession. The vehicle will be described accurately, but remember these are used cars, they will show signs as such. You are not bidding on brand new cars, so there may be parts of the vehicle that are not brand new. We are sure this is obvious to most people, but we just want it to be perfectly clear. We will do our best to describe all the obvious and important things so you have a good idea of what you are buying.  With advance notice we will make our vehicles available for a PRE-BID inspection. This must be completed prior to bidding.  We are an appointment only dealership.  Please just either email or contact us by phone when making an appointment to view a vehicle or to pick up one you have purchased.  Thanks so much.

The purchaser will then be given a receipt proving tax paid to present to their tax collectors office for sales tax credit. This does not apply to vehicles shipped out of state, only ones picked up in Florida.
  • Buyer assumes the cost of shipping and insurance. We already have contacts to ship the vehicle anywhere in the U.S.A. and will be glad to arrange this for you, and give you cost estimate ahead of time. • Because of our local customers, we must reserve the right to cancel any auction early. This will be rare because we want to give everyone a fair chance. So don't be afraid to bid.
  • As with any preowned vehicle, personal preference is a factor.  Please consider and expect to invest a few hundred dollars into your new car, catering it to your individual tastes and requirements. We do try our very best to objectively describe our offerings and welcome your emails and phone inquiries. Again, Thank You.
  • Please use Paypal for $500 deposits only.  It assists in controlling our costs and can be accessed by logging in to http://www.paypal.com/, clicking send money, our email is Performance25@aol.com and selecting services.  Thanks so much for your help.

We make every effort to have ourselves available to show and deliver vehicles. However, Sunday is a day of rest, worship, and family for us. Therefore we do not conduct business on that day.

Jeep still working to improve Cherokee's 9-speed auto

Tue, Feb 3 2015

Fiat Chrysler is hoping an upcoming software update will stem the tide of consumer complaints surrounding its nine-speed automatic transmission. Owners of the 2014 Jeep Cherokee have reported a number of problems on the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration's SaferCar.gov website, since the new model and its troubled gearbox arrived way back in October 2013. The software update is "intended to keep the vehicle performing as intended, and to prevent durability issues from occurring in the future," an FCA spokesperson told Automotive News, and will be available to owners of both the 2014 to 2015 Jeep Cherokee and the 2015 Chrysler 200, which also uses the 9AT. While FCA will be notifying consumers of the update, owners can also request the software reflash if they happen into their dealer before then. Despite the widely documented problems with the transmission, the only complaints on NHTSA's website relate to the 2014 Cherokee – neither the 2015 Jeep nor the 200 have received any complaints. That bodes well as FCA prepares to begin deliveries of the 2015 Jeep Renegade and launch the Fiat 500X, both of which pair the 9AT with the 2.4-liter Tigershark four-cylinder. "We have had to do an inordinate amount of intervention on that transmission, surely beyond what any of us had forecast," FCA CEO Sergio Marchionne told Automotive News. "There are things that we have done – that we continue to do. Our proactive customer care intervention has actually increased in intensity on these vehicles in 2014, especially in the second half." What's fascinating about the 9AT's problems are that they haven't been the fault of manufacturer ZF, but have related to software that wasn't "mature" and had "teething problems," Marchionne has said previously, AN reports. With the lack of criticism for the 9AT in 2015 models and this pending software update, though, here's hoping that FCA has finally figured out its fuel-sipping gearbox. Related Video:

Weekly Recap: Chrysler forges ahead with new name, same mission

Sat, Dec 20 2014

Chrysler is history. Sort of. The 89-year-old automaker was absorbed into the Fiat Chrysler Automobiles conglomerate that officially launched this fall, and now the local operations will no longer use the Chrysler Group name. Instead, it's FCA US LLC. Catchy, eh? Here's what it means: The sign outside Chrysler's Auburn Hills, MI, headquarters says FCA (which it already did) and obviously, all official documents use the new name, rather than Chrysler. That's about it. The executives, brands and location of the headquarters aren't changing. You'll still be able to buy a Chrysler 200. It's just made by FCA US LLC. This reinforces that FCA is one company going forward – the seventh largest automaker in the world – not a Fiat-Chrysler dual kingdom. While the move is symbolic, it is a conflicting moment for Detroiters, though nothing is really changing. Chrysler has been owned by someone else (Daimler, Cerberus) for the better part of two decades, but it still seemed like it was Chrysler in the traditional sense: A Big 3 automaker in Detroit. Now, it's clearly the US division of a multinational industrial empire; that's good thing for its future stability, but bittersweet nonetheless. Undoubtedly, it's an emotion that's also being felt at Fiat's Turin, Italy, headquarters as the company will no longer officially be called Fiat there. Digest that for a moment. What began in 1899 as the Societa Anonima Fabbrica Italiana di Automobili Torino – or FIAT – is now FCA Italy SpA. In a statement, FCA said the move "is intended to emphasize the fact that all group companies worldwide are part of a single organization." The new names are the latest changes orchestrated by CEO Sergio Marchionne, who continues to makeover FCA as an international automaker that has ties to its heritage – but isn't tied down by it. Everything from the planned spinoff of Ferrari, a new FCA headquarters in London and the pending demise of the Dodge Grand Caravan in 2016 has shown that the company is willing to move quickly, even if it's controversial. While renaming the United States and Italian divisions were the moves most likely to spur controversy, FCA said other regions across the globe will undergo similar name changes this year. Despite the mixed emotions, it's worth noting: The name of the merged company that oversees all of these far-flung units is Fiat Chrysler Automobiles. Obviously the Chrysler corporate name isn't completely history.

Chrysler set to make $266M-investment into 8-speed transmission production

Wed, Dec 10 2014

Chrysler will shortly make a significant $266-million investment into its Kokomo, IN transmission factory in a bid to expand production of its eight-speed automatic transmissions. The gearboxes, which are built under license from Germany's ZF Friedrichshafen, have been well received by customers and critics, and according to an SEC filing obtained by Automotive News, the transmissions will eventually find their way to all of Chrysler's rear-drive offerings (Viper and heavy-duty Ram models, aside). According to AN, a Chrysler spokesman says the investment has not been confirmed, but once it is, it'll mark the company's latest in a growing line of investments at the facility. Chrysler has poured $1.5 billion into Kokomo since 2009.
