Black Beauty 2005 PT Cruiser Touring Convertible. 38,200 original miles. PLEASE READ LOCATION AND DELIVERY INFORMATION BELOW I am the second owner (72 years old), and the vehicle was purchased from Stewart Toyota Florida in 2007.The car has been seldom used from the time I purchased it, so it’s time to sell. The car has a custom leather/vinyl interior in black as shown in the photos. Add on accessories include; New set of 16 inch Milanni Kool Whip Black Accent Rims with 4 new 16 inch Interstate tires. Convertible chrome overlay grille (2 part upper and lower). Door and trunk handle area protectors, Rear bumper strip pad to protect bumper from cargo loading scratches. Wind deflector screen mounted behind front seats. Chrysler OEM PT Cruiser car cover. After market tinted windows, which I am removing for better vision at night. I will leave in place at the buyer request. Brakes replaced less than 200 miles ago, new air conditioning compressor, front and rear wheel alignment when new tires installed, new Turbo Charger, BOV and oil line, new MAP and MAF, new front and rear CO2 sensors. Included is the convertible top cover, new water pump and cam belt (not installed, but purchased to change in the future when required). A full transmission oil change kit (another future maintenance project when required in the future). This is a southern vehicle, and has never seen snow or ice.
The vehicle is located in Antigua Guatemala, and a 1 way airline ticket for 1 person is included in the price from any airport location serviced by Spirit Airlines. The vehicle was exported to Guatemala by sea transport, and was removed from the National Vehicle Data Base when exported. I have all of the US documents including the Florida title that will allow the vehicle to reenter the US without any duty or Federal taxes applied. Upon entry to the US, the vehicle must be entered into the National Vehicle Data Base again, which takes about 20 minutes of paper work at the border.
So, not only do you get a car, you get a vacation at the same time! Driving time from Guatemala to Brownsville Texas is 2 days using the east coast route.

Chrysler trademark suggest new Rebel in the family
Mon, 05 May 2014Trademark filings can be a first alert in the auto industry that something is coming. For example, Lamborghini trademarked Aventador before we saw its supercar, and Chevrolet did the same thing with Z28. Other times, an automaker files to protect a name and never does anything with it. Chrysler is dredging up a brand from the past by filing a US request for "Rebel." The name is specifically for "motor vehicles, namely automobiles, trucks, vans, sport utility vehicles and structural parts therefor," according to Ignitionist quoting the filing.
In the US, Rebel was previously used on some American Motors Corporation models. It even spawned a muscle car version called the Machine (pictured above). Chrysler eventually bought AMC when it bowed out of the auto industry in 1987.
Chrysler's plans for the name are a complete mystery at the moment. Although, it probably won't be a midsize sedan like the original. That just seems too unlikely given the brand's current, established lineup. Rebel seems like a fantastic name for the performance trim of a vehicle, though. The Jeep Renegade Rebel has a nice ring to it, and a Ram 1500 Rebel pickup could also work. We're going to have to wait and see what's in store for the moniker. UAW urging Chrysler to sell shares to investors
Thu, 10 Jan 2013The United Auto Workers union is pushing Chrysler to sell 16.6 percent of its stock to investors in an attempt to establish the value of the shares. The UAW is currently locked in a lawsuit with Chrysler parent company Fiat over how much the Italian automaker should pay to buy shares from the trust fund. Last year, Fiat told the trust it intended to exercise its right to purchase 3.3 percent of the union's shares at issue. But the union contended the 54,154 shares were worth closer to $381 million instead of the $155 million Fiat offered.
Currently, the UAW owns 41.5 percent of Chrysler while Fiat holds 58.5 percent of the company. Currently, it's unclear whether the UAW could force Chrysler to put the shares on the open market. Doing so would be the first step toward a much-anticipated initial public offering. Chrysler has said it will comply with its shareholders agreement, and Fiat has echoed that tune. According to The Detroit Free Press, the UAW Retiree Medical Benefits Trust has declined to comment on the situation.
2014 Chrysler 300S gets all black and blue
Fri, 15 Nov 2013Outside of the SRT variant, if you want the sharpest-looking Chrysler 300, you'll probably want the 300S trim. This showy variant has traditionally sported larger wheels and some subtle body changes to set it apart from the herd, along with its own unique take on the big sedan's interior.
For 2014, the S will be set apart even further. A number of exterior items will be blacked-out, including black chrome around the grille and Chrysler badges finished in a liquid-chrome finish with a black center. Black moldings are standard, while owners can get an extra dose of style by opting to have the roof painted Gloss Black. Hyper Black 20-inch wheels are standard on the rear-drive model, while 19s are fitted to the all-wheel-drive variant. Smoked tail and headlights round out the package.
The cabin, meanwhile, gets a new trim option - Ambassador Blue. The pale, blue Nappa leather features contrasting, silver French stitching found on the seats and the door armrests.
