Now and again a collector car goes on the market that is a little different from the rest. This is one of those cars. Everybody uses the same old cliche' words to describe their cars. Words like mint, survivor, low mileage,exceptional...are all so over used in these ads...but once in a while you find a car that truly is all these things and more. This 1985 Chrysler New Yorker Fifth Avenue is .Many times a car like this finds it's way into the hands of one the many dealers around the country that has it sent in for a detail and tries to hit a home run by asking huge money and profiting on the many years of love and care that the owner gave his pride and joy.I have seen cars like this at dealers like Flemings and they want 6-7 thousand.Just to be clear this is every bit as nice if not nicer and can be had for half the money. This car is so original...Allow me to describe: 100% original paint,no rust anywhere, immaculate smoke free cloth interior, dash is perfect no sun damage, original glass including windsheild. The dealer serviced 318 still has it's original plug wires, decals rad cap etc. and runs like a swiss watch with only 65,000 miles This is a garage kept, fully optioned, dealer serviced, local car with all it's paper work from new including original keys on the dealer keychain. Starting to get the picture? At 29 years old this Chrysler looks and drives like it is about 2 years old if that. So smooth... so quiet... so luxurious this is truly a rare opportunity to own a piece of history from the end of an era when nobody could build V8 rear wheel full framed cars like America could! Please call 604 512-1517 if you need further information.

Watch a roundabout foil a driver fleeing from the cops
Tue, Aug 23 2016Roundabouts aren't just improving traffic flow and confusing the elderly, the circular intersections are helping to fight crime now as well. A Michigan scofflaw fleeing from police was thrown for a loop last week when he entered a newly-built roundabout at 90 miles per hour and flipped his car. According to WXYZ, on the evening of August 18 a police officer in Marysville, Michigan attempted to stop a tan Chrysler Concorde traveling north on Range Road with expired tags. At first, the driver of the Chrysler seemed to comply and activated his turn signal. Then, with no warning, he sped off in an attempt to escape the officer. "They proceeded northbound on Range Road, through Marysville, and entered Port Huron Township approximately 90 to 100 mph," said Marysville Police Sergeant John Stover. The chase was cut short in dramatic fashion after about four miles when the Chrysler approached the intersection of Range and Griswald to discover that it had recently been turned into a roundabout. Dashcam footage from the pursuing MPD cruiser show the fleeing driver hit the brakes coming into the roundabout, but it did him little good. The rear end of the car stepped out and bumped over the curb surrounding the traffic island. The car flipped on its side, slid into the center of the island and came to rest on its roof. The driver and his passenger – Jeffery Sharp and Nichols Belkiewicz – both have sizable rap sheets and Belkiewicz has an outstanding warrant. Thankfully no one was injured in the crash, but both men are facing numerous charges including eluding, driving with a suspended license, and firearms charges. 2017 Chrysler Model Year Preview and Updates
Wed, Feb 15 2017FCA's now-iconic minivan is all-new. The 'Town & Country' tag is out, a resurrected CHRYSLER PACIFICA tag is in, and both the design and content are transformational – at least in the context of a minivan available in North America. And for those looking to both capacity and efficiency, Chrysler now offers a plug-in Pacifica hybrid with 30+ miles of all-electric range. While all Pacifica trims represent good value, with federal tax credits the Pacifica Plug-In is great value. 200: In 2017 Chrysler offers a 200 with both a new Dark Appearance package and an Alloy Edition. The 'Alloy' offers a sport-tuned suspension in combination with an all-wheel-drive system featuring a 'sport' mode for better all-season traction. And then, of course, Chrysler discontinued the 200, citing a lack of all-season sales traction. 300: The venerable (translation: 'old') 300 continues the long run with fourth-generation Uconnect, along with the addition of both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Beyond that, it's a new year with new colors, trims and packaging. And while the platform may be showing its age, it remains a compelling option for those wanting upmarket content at a reasonably accessible ($30K to $40K) price point.
Mopar updates owner apps to make car ownership easier
Wed, Jun 3 2015Owners of any Fiat Chrysler vehicle will want to head to the Apple App or Google Play store to download the latest version of their brand-specific smartphone app. Developed by Mopar, the new suite of FCA Owner apps specific to each brand pack a number of valuable features. For starters, the apps let owners access information like maintenance schedules, service history and recall notices. The apps also include an array of how-to information and instructional videos, offer push notification for important updates like maintenance offers and recall alerts, and allow customers to schedule test drives and receive quotes from their local dealers for new vehicles. But that's just the tip of the proverbial iceberg. The FCA Owner apps also feature an augmented reality function that helps drivers identify instrument-panel icons. There's a Parking Reminder feature that helps drivers remember where they parked their car, guides them back to their parking spot and tracks the time left on the meter. Finally, there's an Accident Assistant feature that helps drivers record the specifics of an accident, upload insurance information and take photos of the scene. It'll even help find the closest certified collision repair facility, schedule an appointment and access roadside assistance. The apps are available for any Chrysler, Dodge, Ram, Jeep, Fiat or Alfa Romeo built from 2011 till today, and are available for either iOS or Android. If you've got more than one FCA vehicle in your garage, you needn't download multiple versions of the app as they'll work on any model the Italian-American automaker offers. Mopar Enhances FCA Owner Apps - Redesigned FCA Owner apps offer a wide range of VIN-specific information - Owners can access maintenance schedules, service history, recall notices and more - "Augmented reality" function, beginning with 2015 models, allows owners to use camera feature on mobile devices to scan and identify instrument panel icons - Industry-first Accident Assistant feature helps owners easily document important accident information and quickly locate a certified repair facility - Individual brand versions of the app support all FCA brand vehicles - FCA Owner apps are free to download for both iOS and Android mobile devices May 29, 2015 , Auburn Hills, Mich. - The Mopar brand has redesigned and enhanced its suite of FCA Owner apps, putting more resources than ever at owners' fingertips with easier access to vehicle and lifestyle information.
