1985 Chrysler Lebaron Convertible Complete Resto Super Clean!!! New Everything on 2040-cars
Mohegan Lake, New York, United States
I purchased this car for my mom about 6 years ago. It came into my shop from a guy in need of some quick money and I just could not pass it up. The previous owner had done a restoration on the car and had all the paperwork to prove it( and I also have it with me) and spent over 13000 dollars doing it. The car had belonged to his parents and had sentamental value to him but he lost his job and needed some money. The car has 5000 miles since the work was done as you can see from the picture of the dash since it was replaced when the resto was done. The motor and transmission were also replaced with new units. The top, carpet and interior were done over except the door panels as no repros are availabe for the car. The car had a complete paint job and looks awesome. There was very little if any body work done and the undercarrige of the car is supper clean and rust free. The suspension was redone with new struts and shocks. All for tires were repalced with new rims. A full size spare tire and matching rim are in the trunk with all new carpet there also and a new in the box extra rim goes with the car. I have the boot for when the top is down for the nice finished look. Everything is in working order except 1 rear window is slow coming up just a little lift and it comes up. The brakes from front to back were done with new rotors, pads, calipers, drums, shoes, wheelcylinders, and a mastercylinder. I replaced the power steering rack about 5 years ago due to a leak. I also replaced the waterpump last year and did a coolant flush at that time. The car has so many new items when it was restored that not much but basic care has been needed. I think it would be very hard to find another one with clean with everything replaced not many people restor these cars yet but keep it in a garage like we do and it will go up in value and people will be looking for these cars soon enough. Let me know if you have any question of would like to see the car thanks for looking.

Big Black Friday discounts key to Chrysler 200 sales success
Thu, Dec 11 2014A lot of people go shopping for deals on TVs or computers around the holiday season, but it looks like some folks are finding some fantastic deals on cars too. Take the Chrysler 200 for example. The new sedan had a great November in terms of sales, and by Chrysler's numbers, it delivered 14,317 of them for the month, a 155 percent increase from the same month last year. It even beat the November 2013 sales of the old 200 and Dodge Avenger combined. However, a report from Daily Kanban based on TrueCar data suggests that the good month came at least in part from steep incentives. Based on 20,156 sales of the 200 from TrueCar's database, average transaction prices were about $2,500 to $4,000 under MSRP for all but the base LX front-wheel drive model. That one actually went for about $68 above the typical base price. Going by these numbers, most people could have bought nearly any trim cheaper than the listed price of the one above it. For example, the top C AWD averaged $27,423, less money than the stated MSRP of the lower-spec S AWD. TrueCar's website also shows 200 pricing dipping in the latter part of November and into early December. There's no doubt that the 200 had a stellar month for November. But these figures suggest that it might have come partially because buyers found stacks of money on 200 hoods, while out doing some holiday shopping. Related Video:
Italian government to lean on Fiat's Marchionne to commit to country
Sun, 26 May 2013With the recent chatter that Fiat is looking to move its global headquarters to the US following a complete merger with Chrysler, the Italian government is voicing its opinion on the matter. Facing the potential job loss from the automaker leaving the country, Italy's industry minister is meeting with Fiat CEO Sergio Marchionne in what will likely be a plea to keep the company based in Turin rather than moving to Auburn Hills, MI - if indeed it is able to acquire the additional 41.5 percent of Chrysler currently owned by the United Auto Workers.
According to Bloomberg, Fiat is Italy's biggest private employer and unemployment is already nearing a 20-year high. The non-car side of Fiat, Fiat Industrial, is already planning a move to the UK, so it goes without saying that Fiat moving would be a pretty big blow for the Italian economy. In the article, Fiat says that the headquarters issue is "not on its agenda now," but that statement is far from a denial.
