You
are bidding on a 1967 Chrysler Imperial Crown Coupe. It
is an original Washington state car which migrated to Idaho and I’ve garaged it
here in las Vegas for approximately three years. It
is completely rust free throughout both over and under and has a newer paint
job in the original colors. They did a really outstanding job repainting it in the original haze
green, and it was stripped to bare metal. There are no dents of any kind on the
vehicle nor any bondo or body repairs. It is straight as a pin with all chrome
trim. Everything
is original except I installed an am/fm cd player. The original radio is included with the car. Also I installed the wide whitewall tires at
a cost of over $1,000.00. Everything
else is stock original. Overall
the vehicle is in outstanding condition. It has only 113k original miles on it.
Since I’ve owned the care I’ve only put about 3 to 5k miles on it, mostly going
to car shows and parades. The engine is a 440 V-8 with 335 horsepower and
automatic transmission. I’ve never had
any problems whatsoever and would drive it anywhere. The
engine and transmission run perfectly with no issues, and it starts right up.
Also it has a new battery. The
transmission does have a slow drip which I top off every 6 months or so. The
interior is beautiful and original except the previous owner had the seats
re-done in both front and back. He used vinyl instead of the original leather
but it is done in the original pattern and is beautiful. The seats are near perfect with no
tears. It does have the original
seatbelts. The headliner is also near
perfect. The
glass is perfect with no cracks. Also the rubber trim is in near mint
condition. This leads me to believe it has been garaged its entire life. It
does have a couple of minor anomalies. The heater core leaks externally so it
has been bypassed. No damage to the
floorboards though. The AC works but blows hot and needs servicing. The right
rear window motor is seized up and the power seat motors are seized up. I do
have an extra motor for the window. All
the other windows work. The
NADA Classic Car book value for this car is between $10,000.00 and $15,000.00 but
my reserve is very reasonable and much less than that. Please
contact me with any questions and I will respond asap. I have the clear title. I
require a certified money order within 10 days which must clear before I
release the vehicle. I have a 743 score on e-bay with 100% feedback and have
bought and sold several cars on e-bay.
Call me any time at 702-673-0592. Thanks
for your interest. Billy

Autoblog Minute: Marchionne seems prepared to lead FCA in takeover of GM
Fri, Sep 4 2015FCA CEO Sergio Marchionne wants industry consolidation but without any deal takers it seems as though he's ready to consider a hostile takeover. Autoblog's Chris McGraw reports on this edition of Autoblog Minute with commentary from Autoblog editor-in-chief Mike Austin. Show full video transcript text [00:00:00] It's no secret that FCA CEO Sergio Marchionne wants industry consolidation but without any deal takers it seems as though he's ready to consider a hostile takeover. I'm Chris McGraw and this is your Autoblog Minute. Marchionne is tired of waiting for the industry to get on board with his consolidation plan. In an interview with Automotive News Marchionne was quoted as saying, "it would be unconscionable not to force a partner." And when pushed further about the nature of any potential takeover plan the FCA chief had this to say: "Not hostile. There are varying degrees of hugs. I can hug you nicely, I can hug you tightly, I can hug you like a bear, I can really hug you. Everything starts with physical contact. Then it can degrade, but it starts with physical contact." Metaphor aside, Marchionne suggests his numbers for a GM-FCA merger are irrefutable, pointing to potential global earnings of a 30 billion dollars. Without a merger deal on the horizon we have to wonder if an FCA takeover of GM even possible. For more we go to Autoblog's Mike Austin: [Mike Austin Interview] Marchionne says GM won't take his phone calls, and while he admits a merger with GM would be a hard road to haul it's one he's still determined to travel. We'll continue to monitor the story as it develops. For Autoblog, I'm Chris McGraw. Autoblog Minute is a short-form video news series reporting on all things automotive. Each segment offers a quick and clear picture of what's happening in the automotive industry from the perspective of Autoblog's expert editorial staff, auto executives, and industry professionals. Wish you had a world-famous auto exec give your commencement speech? Watch this
Sat, 02 Feb 2013We've seen some pretty great commencement speeches over the years. There was Steve Jobs' incredibly inspiring Stanford address in 2005, John Stewart's insightful speech to the graduating class of William and Mary in 2004 and Steven Colbert's hilarious 2011 address at Northwestern, but automotive executives aren't strangers to honorary degrees. Former General Motors CEO Rick Wagoner spoke at Virginia Commonwealth University in 2011, and Chrysler CEO Sergio Marchionne recently gave the keynote at Walsh College's 100th Commencement Ceremony. The executive knows a thing or two about success and following one's beliefs to fulfillment.
"I constantly encourage my co-workers at Fiat and Chrysler to go beyond the cliche and the conventional to try new approaches and change perspective each and every day," Marchionne said. "I exhort them not to repeat the same things, the same approaches, and I remind them they are indeed free. The freedom I am talking about is something inside you. It is determined by how open minded you remain, how receptive you are to the new and to the different, to the infinite possibilities that present themselves even if you don't go looking for them or could never have imagined. Being free means that you have the strength not to be conditioned by what others want you to do or by what may seem to be the easiest choice."
Amen to that. You can check out the brief press release on the address below as well as a video of a few highlights from the speech.
Fiat-Chrysler shows its SEMA lineup
Fri, 24 Oct 2014Fiat Chrysler Automobiles already previewed its 2014 SEMA show lineup with some slick renders. Now, the automaker has finally showed us the actual cars, and among the group there are definitely some that stand out more than others.
Dodge is really showing off its muscle at this year's show with four concepts that all pump up the power of the brand's models. Perhaps most interesting among them is the Challenger T/A Concept (pictured above) in striking Sublime Green and matte black. It's meant to resemble the classic Trans Am racer from the '70s. Under the hood is a 6.4-liter V8, and to fit the vintage style there's a pistol-grip gearshift inside.
The Charger R/T also gets some attention with the Mopar concept that shows off what FCA's aftermarket performance arm can do. Mods include an updated body kit, cold-air intake for the 5.7-liter V8 and a coil-over suspension kit. Beyond that, the Dart R/T Concept looks a lot meaner with a black hood with duct work that leads straight to the air intake. The rest of the compact sedan is dolled up in O-So-Orange paint and is fitted with upgrades to improve handling like a coil-over suspension and big brake kit from the Mopar catalog.
