Up for auction 1995 Chrysler Concorde. Family friend purchased new from dealer in October 1994. Friend gave us the car in May 2001 due to the transmission went out. My family repaired the transmission and I drove it until June 2008 when I gave it to my brother. He drove the car until October 2013 when he gave it back to me. We both used the car to commute to work. I have two cars now and no longer need this one.

Here is the good:

Averaged 23 mpg during commuting.

Radiator, A/C compressor have been replaced within the last 3 years

All power windows, mirrors and door locks work.

No tears in the leather seats

Have both keyless entry remotes

Has the Infinity sound package

No major dents in the body, paint in very good shape

Premium wheels

Here is the NOT so good:

Engine has been overheating. Not sure what the cause is. Therefore the car would need to be towed to avoid any issues.

A/C will need to be recharged

Radio doesn't work

Driver power seat isn't working. Passenger side works fine

Hood has small dents in front edge due to family friend wasn't paying attention while stopped at a light and rolled under a truck.

It's still a decent car and I don't want to junk it. However, car is sold as is. It would be a great buy for a mechanic who has the ability to repair the car.

Payment in the form of cash, U.S. Postal money ordered (must come from post office) or certified cashier's check from local bank will be accepted. Once auction is over, I will make arrangements with purchaser on picking up the car.

Fiat board makes Chrysler merger official, approves $5.4B bond sale

Fiat's board of directors has officially approved the merger plan that will see the conglomerate's automotive operations merged with Chrysler into the new Fiat Chrysler Automobiles.
The plan essentially provides a road map for the structure of the new company. It includes provisions for Fiat shareholders - one Fiat share will translate to one share of FCA common stock. The new company will also include a loyalty voting structure, which will provide for shareholders of Fiat stock or those that have held FCA stock for at least three years. According to the plan, these shareholders would see their voting power double, with two votes for every share of FCA's common stock. The overall merger plan still needs to be approved by the company's shareholders.
In other Fiat-related news, the company's board has announced a bond issuance of four billion euro ($5.4 billion). The new bonds should provide the company with a degree of flexibility in refinancing debts associated with the merger plan.

Car dealership in East Texas destroyed by tornado

Few things are as fundamentally and unconditionally destructive as a tornado. These cataclysmic phenomena pass through towns, leaving nothing in their wake but ruin and despair. According to an NBC affiliate in the Dallas-Fort Worth region, a car dealership in nearby Canton was hit by a tornado Saturday night. No employees were hurt. Four other people in the area weren't so lucky. Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Canton's new showroom and service center were pounded by the storm, leaving dozens of cars in various states of ruin. Some merely lost windows, while others were flipped and left on their sides or roofs. Photos show piles of cars stacked up like Hot Wheels dumped on the ground. According to a statement from the National Weather Service, winds reached speeds of up to 140 mph. Two other tornadoes were reported in the region. The area has been declared a disaster zone and first responders from up to 100 miles away have swarmed in to help out those in need.
