Here is a machine! What a fun car to drive and it is spotless inside and out! This is an Autocheck certified 1-owner rust free Florida 300c with the powerful 350hp HEMI V-8 and only 65k original miles. This car is all stock, adult owned and garaged and is just plain beautiful. It has been in Southwest Florida it's whole life and it shows, even the underside is still nice and clean and rust free. It was traded in at our local Chrysler dealership by the original owner as well, NO auctions! Autocheck gave it a great score of 83 points out of an average rating of between 64-78 points so you know it has a great history. Autocheck did show a minor accident to the passengers rear door back in 2008 but it was repaired correctly and is unnoticeable. The Chrysler paint has a nice deep shine with no dents, scrapes, fade or rust, just a few touch-ups on the rear bumper from normal use. The factory chrome wheels shine like new and the two front tires are in great shape and the two rears are in fair shape. The interior is spotless, period! There are no stains, rips or odors and this is a non-smoker's car and fresh as new. The heated leather seats look wonderful both front and rear and the trunk is spotless as well. All the power options work great including the ice cold air conditioning, power sunroof, navigation system and Boston Premium Audio CD stereo system that sounds excellent. It's so nice you feel like your in a new car, obvioulsy well cared for. What a fun car to dirve! The powerful HEMI V-8 with factory dual exhaust runs smooth as silk and should with only 65k miles and when you step on it this car really goes. The suspension is nice and tight for great handling yet still delivers a smooth ride. The brakes are strong and the transmission shifts nice and smooth as well. It really feels great and drives like a powerful adult owned 65k mile sports sedan should. I have the factory books and two keys with remotes. Look it over good and I am sure once you see and take it for a spin around the block you are sure to fall in love and every time you hear that HEMI start up you are sure to fall deeper in love! I have great feedback so you can be sure that this vehicle will be just as nice as I am stating. Detroit automakers mulling helping DIA avoid bankruptcy looting

It's not really a secret that the city of Detroit is in lots and lots of trouble. Even with an emergency manager working to guide it through bankruptcy, a number of the city's institutions remain in very serious danger. One of the most notable is the Detroit Institute of Arts, a 658,000-square-foot behemoth of art that counts works from Van Gogh, Picasso, Gauguin and Rembrandt (not to mention a version of Rodin's iconic "The Thinker," shown above) as part of its permanent collection.
Throughout the bankruptcy, the DIA has been under threat, with art enthusiasts, historians and fans of the museum concerned that its expansive collection - valued between $454 and $867 million by Christie's - could be sold by the city to help square its $18.5-billion debt.
Now, though, Detroit's hometown automakers could be set to step up and help save the renowned museum. According to a report from The Detroit News, the charitable arms of General Motors, Ford and Chrysler could be set to donate $25 million as part of a DIA-initiated campaign, called the "grand bargain." As part of the deal, the DIA would seek $100 million in corporate donations as part of a larger attempt at putting together an $816-million package that would be paid to city pension funds over 20 years. Such a move would protect the city's art collection from being sold off.

UPDATE: The story has been updated to include a full press release from Fiat Chrysler Automobiles on the Napleton Automotive Group's allegations. A Chicago-based dealership group has filed an explosive lawsuit against Fiat Chrysler Automobiles accusing the company of paying dealers to fake new-vehicle sales, Automotive News reports. Edward Napleton, president of the Napleton Automotive Group, filed the suit on Tuesday. It claims that FCA offered Napleton money to fudge end-of-month sales figures. According to the filing, dealers would report false transactions, only to "back out" at the start of a new month "before the factory warranty on the vehicles could be processed and start to run." According to Automotive News, FCA was aware of the false reports and rewarded dealership managers for hitting sales targets. The lawsuit cites one example at Napleton Arlington Heights Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram where an FCA business center manager offered Napleton $20,000 "to falsely report the sales of 40 new vehicles." The payment would be disguised "as a co-op advertising credit to the dealer's account." Such a move would prevent a sales audit, AN reports. Napleton rejected the deal, telling FCA it was illegal. He later learned a similar arrangement was made with a competing dealer to falsify the sale of 85 vehicles. They were given "tens of thousands of dollars as an illicit reward for their complicity in the scheme." FCA has vehemently denied the accusation in a statement obtained by Automotive News. "While the lawsuit has not yet been served on FCA US, the company believes that the claim is without merit and was filed by internal counsel to the dealer group as FCA US has concurrently been discussing with the dealer group the need to meet its obligations under some of its dealer agreements," the statement said. "The company is confident in the integrity of its business processes and dealer arrangements and intends to defend this action vigorously." There are additional allegations, as well, claiming FCA "strong-armed its dealers to achieve sales numbers" and accusing the company of maintaining a "pattern of conduct towards its dealers [that] has been one of coercion and threats of termination having nothing to do with the actual performance of its dealers." What will Detroit do with the abandoned AMC headquarters?

As with so many other industrial and residential properties in Detroit, the former headquarters for the American Motors Corporation is having a hard time finding a reputable buyer. In October the Wayne County Treasurer held a tax foreclosure auction of 25,000 properties that included the AMC building, the starting bid being $500. Nicholas Casab won the building for $500, but the county voided the sale when Casab didn't pay the $232,000 in back property taxes. Detroit authorities haven't commented on the failed sale, but the city has until January 4 to decide if it wants to keep the building. If it doesn't want to hold onto it, the 1.5-million-square-foot property on 57 acres might be ceded to the Wayne County Land Bank Corporation. No matter who holds the deed come January 5, all anyone really wants is for someone to take possession of the building who will actually turn it into something useful and viable. The property opened in 1927 as a factory for the Kelvinator Corporation. Over the following decades, Kelvinator merged with the Nash Motor Company, and that merged entity merged with Hudson Motor Car Co, becoming American Motors. Chrysler took over the building in 1987 when it bought AMC, then shuttered it in 2009. The complex has produced refrigerators, Sikorsky helicopters, Jeeps, AMCs, and was used as an engineering center for Jeeps and other Chrysler products.
