2006 Chrysler 300c **rebuilt Title / Low Miles** on 2040-cars
Decatur, Indiana, United States

For sale is my 2006 Chrysler 300C 5.7 Liter. I bought this car a while back so I could restore it to its natural beauty. This car was involved in a very minor accident last winter. I was able to contact the previous owner of the vehicle to find out what had happened. This vehicle was at a stand still while it was hit by an elderly woman. I was told her speed was around 30 MPH when she hit the 300. The previous owners were the 2nd owners of the vehicle. They had only owned the vehicle for three months prior to the incident. There was no structural frame damage to this car. This car is in amazing condition inside and out. With all that being said, this 2006 Chrysler 300C does carry a INDIANA REBUILT TITLE. I have already completed all necessary paperwork for this vehicle to carry a Rebuilt Title. This vehicle no longer has a salvage title. The winning bidder will have no trouble or hassle from the BMV. Plating this car will be just as it would be with a clean titled vehicle. This 2006 Chrysler 300C is in amazing condition. I have personally driven this car and it drives and handles amazing. The power behind the wheel will amaze you. The interior is absolutely flawless with not a single scratch or tear. The prior owners took excellent care of this vehicle. This 300 also has only 53000 Miles on it. You won't find many 2006 300C's with that low of miles. The motor runs perfect and is very strong. The tires have about 75-80% tread left on them. This vehicle is in such great condition it looks as if it has been stored in a building all its life. The pictures definitely speak for itself. If anyone would like to see more pictures just email me and I will send whatever you want. See below for the details. This is an amazing looking vehicle and it comes equipped with every option you can think of... Power seats/sun roof/ heated seats/ navigation/Boston Premium Audio sound system, leather, etc. The list goes on with options for this car. When I purchased this 300 the damage was very minor. Below is a picture of what the vehicle looked like when I bought it. As you can see from the pic, the damage is mainly on the driver side. The Air Bag system did not deploy in this vehicle. The Air Bag system is 100% functional. Listed below are all the items I had to replace on the 300. **** Front reinforcement bar, Front bumper with all components, Driver side fender, radiator core support, hood, air intake, lower A-Arm on the suspension, outer tie rod, fog lights and harness, grille, and the sun roof. I had to replace the sun roof because anytime a vehicle is involved in an accident with a sun roof, the track that allows the sunroof to open and close will get tweaked out of position. The only way to fix that problem is to just replace the whole sunroof. The sun roof is now 100% functional and DOES NOT LEAK. I promise you!!! As you can see, this 300C looks amazing inside and out and is a definite head turner. If you are looking for a great dependable car that looks and drives great, has all the options and comforts of luxury, then this car will not disappoint you. Although this vehicle has a Rebuilt Title, it will never take away from how luxurious it is and how amazing it looks. The previous owners left all the paperwork in the vehicle from when they bought the vehicle. It shows that they bought the vehicle when it had 51000 miles on it and they paid $15,999 for the vehicle before fees and taxes. If anyone would like to see the paperwork I will gladly send you a picture. I know that since this vehicle now has a REBUILT TITLE it is not worth that and I am not looking to get near that price, but I am not going to just give this car away. I am willing to accept any reasonable offer you may have. If any of you would like to make an offer you can call EVAN ZIMMERMAN @ 260-223-1195, or you can just send me a message. I will not accept any trades so please don't ask. I hope that I have explained the details you need for this 300. This is an amazing looking car that will make anyone happy, except my wife because she actually wants to keep it!! You will have no worries with this vehicle and I promise you it will not disappoint you in any way. Feel confident when bidding. I am a very honest Ebayer that stays true to my word. Please don't be afraid to call or message me for any questions. The winning bidder will be responsible for pick up. Please remember that when bidding your are bound to a contract with Ebay and must adhere to all terms and policies set fourth from this auction. Please be serious when bidding. I have had bad Ebayers before and I will not tolerate a non paying Ebayer. Thank you for looking at my auction. |

Chrysler Recalling Nearly 907,000 Cars, SUVs
Fri, Oct 17 2014Nearly 907,000 Chrysler, Dodge and Jeep SUVs and cars are being recalled for alternators that can fail and heated power mirror wiring that can short and cause minor fires. The recalls, posted Thursday by U.S. safety regulators, push the total number of recalls so far this year 544, totaling a record of more than 52 million vehicles. The largest of Thursday's recalls covers nearly 470,000 Jeep Grand Cherokees, Chrysler 300s, and Dodge Chargers, Challengers and Durangos from the 2011 through 2014 model years. The alternators can fail, causing the 3.6-liter V6 engines to stall unexpectedly. The problem also can cause the electrical system to fail, as well as knock out power-assisted steering, antilock brakes and electronic stability control. It can even cause fire or smoke, according to documents Chrysler filed with the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. NHTSA opened an investigation into the problem in July, and Chrysler began its own probe in August. The company analyzed warranty complaints and alternators that had failed. The alternator generates electricity to recharge the battery and run other devices. Chrysler investigators traced the problem to heat fatigue in an alternator diode. Chrysler said it received 322 complaints about the problem, while 55 people complained to NHTSA. The company said it knows of one crash related to the problem, but no injuries or fires. The company will replace the alternators with upgraded versions for free. Owners will be notified in November. The company says customers who see warning lights or suspect a problem should contact their dealers. The recall affects cars and SUVs sold mainly in the U.S. and Canada, but some were sold in Mexico and overseas markets. The second recall covers almost 437,000 Jeep Wranglers from 2011 through 2013. Water can find its way into the heated power mirror wiring harness and cause corrosion. That can cause a short and could cause a minor fire and smoke, as well as cause loss of function of the mirror. The problem was discovered in February after three Wranglers in Canada were damaged. Chrysler says it has 26 complaints about the problem, but it knows of no fires, crashes or injuries. Dealers will move the wiring and install a protective shield to keep water out at no cost to owners, starting in December. Most of the Wranglers are in the U.S., Canada and Mexico, but more than 78,000 were sold overseas.
The mad genius of killing the Dodge Dart and Chrysler 200
Thu, Jan 28 2016Sergio Marchionne isn't crazy. At least not with respect to the recent announcement that Fiat Chrysler Automobiles will cease production of the Dodge Dart and Chrysler 200. Instead of crazy I'd call this CEO ruthlessly pragmatic, and perhaps short-sighted. The latest revisions to FCA's most recent five-year plan tell some truths about the company's finances. In other words, it can't afford to build mainstream sedans. With only 87,392 units sold in 2015, the Dart is an also-ran in the segment. The axe falls easily there - Chrysler hasn't had a compact-car hit since the second-generation Neon. The 200 isn't so cut and dried: Last year sales increased 52 percent, and the 177,889 total for 2015 is more than those for the Subaru Legacy and Kia Optima. But looking at the overall FCA picture the Chrysler 200 has to go, at least from a short-term perspective. The vehicles that make big money – Ram trucks; Jeep's Cherokee, Grand Cherokee, and Wrangler – can't be made fast enough. FCA can't afford to idle the 200's Sterling Heights, MI, assembly plant to cut back on inventory when other plants are running flat out. It seems crazy to throw away 265,000 sales, but FCA is leaving money on the table by not building more profitable vehicles. The Wirecutter's Senior Autos Editor (and former Autoblogger) John Neff agrees. "As bold as it looks from the outside, he's really making a safe bet that their money is better spent on designing better and building more crossovers and trucks. He's probably right about that." But according to Jessica Caldwell, Executive Director of Strategic Analytics at Edmunds, "FCA's strategy of eliminating the Dart and 200 might be short-sighted if gas prices were to rise and Americans, once again, flocked to small vehicles. FCA must have plans to expand the lineup of small SUVs and position them as small-car alternatives in terms of price and fuel efficiency for this strategy to make sense." FCA's latest announcement focuses mainly on the profitable brands and nameplates. There's hardly a mention of Chrysler, Dodge, or Fiat. And future planning is where the plot holes appear. This realignment cuts dead weight from the product portfolio, but FCA's latest announcement focuses mainly on the profitable brands and nameplates. There's hardly a mention of Chrysler, Dodge, or Fiat. So what's Sergio up to? David Sullivan of AutoPacific thinks Marchionne is still looking for another CEO to hug.
Junkyard Gem: 1983 Chrysler LeBaron Mark Cross Town & Country Convertible
Sat, Feb 11 2023When Lee Iacocca took the helm at the Chrysler Corporation in 1978, the company appeared to be doomed. The company's only modern front-wheel-drive cars either came from Japan or had been developed from Chrysler Europe's Simca operation, inflation was raging, and Middle Eastern conflict a year later sent fuel prices skyrocketing for the second time in the decade. Iacocca secured government loans to keep the company afloat until vehicles based on a brand-new front-drive platform could reach showrooms. Those were the K-Cars, debuting in the 1981 model year, and they saved Chrysler. The LeBaron was the ritziest of the early Ks, and today's Junkyard Gem is an example of the most prestigious LeBaron of 1983, found in a Colorado car graveyard last summer. The cheapest possible 1983 K-Cars were the two-door Plymouth Reliant and Dodge Aries, priced at $6,577 (about $19,959 in 2023 dollars). The 1983 LeBaron Mark Cross Town & Country convertible had an MSRP of way more than twice as much: $15,595, which comes to around $47,327 today. The LeBaron name came from a coachbuilder that Chrysler eventually devoured, and it was applied to the most glamorous Imperial models for decades. The LeBaron didn't become a model name in its own right until the 1977 model year, when a thick coat of bling was slathered onto the midsize Dodge Diplomat. That generation of Chrysler LeBaron stayed in production through the 1981 model year. The Town & Country name goes way back in Chrysler history, too. The very first Town & Country was a woodie wagon—with real wood— that first appeared as a 1941 model. Over the decades that followed, the T&C name was applied to sedans, coupes, wagons and convertibles, some with wood (or "wood") trim and some without, with only wagons getting that designation from 1969 through 1982. Beginning in 1990, the Chrysler Town & Country name went on minivans, and that's where it remained through 2016. The paneling on this car is plastic, but it was more convincing (when new) than most of the fake wood found on Detroit cars of the era. Convertibles made a big comeback for American car companies during the early 1980s, after much wailing and gnashing of teeth over "the last convertible" 1976 Cadillac Eldorado (it wasn't the last convertible you could buy new here, even at the time). The LeBaron convertible went on sale for the 1982 model year, and new drop-top LeBarons remained available all the way through 1995.
