2003 Toyota 4runner Limited, Roll-over, Good Mechanics, Low Mileage on 2040-cars
Denver, Colorado, United States
For sale is a 2003 Toyota 4Runner that was in a nasty accident and is not repairable. The mechanical parts are undamaged though. I am the original owner and have always taken meticulous care of it. The engine has only had semi-synthetic oil in it. All other fluids have always full synthetic. And the best part is that it only has 94,000 miles on it. Probably around 3/4 of those miles are highway miles. I have gone cross country a number of times and my commute to work was over half highway. This is the limited version so it is loaded with goodies and has a very high-tech four wheel drive and suspension setup. It has the same V-8 engine as the Tundra. I do want to move this vehicle quickly so text me soon if you want it and lets see if we can work something out! Please text me (Alan) at (970)534-4081 Update: I had a buyer that was going to pick it up today but he backed out on me. I dropped my asking price from $4000 down to $3500 and hope to move it quick! Update # 2: Someone made me an offer of $2900 and I took it. Now he is saying he doesn't want it because it would be too hard to fix..... I clearly state that it is not repairable. Anyway I really want this done so I am relisting it at the $2900. Please understand what you are buying before you commit to buy. Feel free to ask any questions you have. Thanks |

FCA CEO Mike Manley will run Americas for Stellantis after PSA merger
Sun, Dec 20 2020DETROIT — Fiat Chrysler CEO Mike Manley will run operations in the Americas when his company merges with FranceÂ’s PSA Peugeot early next year. FCA Chairman John Elkann announced ManleyÂ’s new post on Friday in a letter to employees. ManleyÂ’s role in the merged company had been a mystery. PSA CEO Carlos Tavares will run the overall company, to be named Stellantis. Shareholders of both companies will vote on the merger Jan. 4 to seal the deal creating the worldÂ’s fourth-largest automaker. The merger is expected to be completed by the end of March. PSA will get six seats on the new companyÂ’s 11-member board, which will be chaired by Elkann. The Americas, especially the U.S., are key to the new companyÂ’s success. Fiat ChryslerÂ’s Jeep and Ram brands are highly profitable, and Tavares has long wanted to sell PSA vehicles in the U.S. Manley has been the Italian-American automakerÂ’s CEO for 2 1/2 years, taking over when Sergio Marchionne died in 2018. Stellantis will have the capacity to produce 8.7 million cars a year, just behind Volkswagen, the Renault-Nissan alliance and Toyota. GM, FCA retain financial advisors amid merger rumors
Thu, Jun 18 2015Well, here we go again. Despite allegedly shutting down the idea of a merger, General Motors has retained financial advisors to, well, advise it on Fiat Chrysler Automobiles' advances. GM brought in New York-based Goldman Sachs, while FCA is currently working with Switzerland's UBS. Another source told Reuters that GM was working with Morgan Stanley, as well. But what does all this mean? Well, as we know, FCA boss Sergio Marchionne still has his eyes set very much on merging his automaker to combat what he claims are the prohibitive costs that come from developing today's vehicles. And while GM has said "no thanks," to a merger, the FCA boss is still looking to shareholders of the world's third-largest automaker to force the issue. Rather than a sign of an impending merger, voluntary or otherwise, between the two automotive powers – analysts called a hostile move by FCA "beyond ambitious," after all – retaining financial advisors on both sides could be viewed as just good business. Chrysler recalling 278,222 trucks and SUVs over bad rear axles
Thu, 14 Feb 2013Chrysler has issued a recall of 278,222 light trucks and sport utility vehicles here in the United States. The reason: bad rear axles. Specifically, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the rear axle pinion nut may lack a necessary adhesive patch, which could cause the nut to loosen. If this happens, the axle can lock up, which could cause all sorts of havoc on the road.
This is an expansion of the rear axle recall announced in October of last year, where 44,300 Ram 1500 and Dodge Dakota models were being called in. At that time, 12 accidents had been reported due to the faulty axle pinion nut.
Affected vehicles include Ram 1500 trucks from the 2009 to 2012 model years, Dodge Dakota models from the 2009 to 2011 model years, and both the Chrysler Aspen and Dodge Durango SUV twins, both from the 2009 model year only.
