2011 Mustang Gt 5.0 Premium, Only 4k Miles, Mint Condition, Brembo Brakes!!! on 2040-cars
Columbia, Maryland, United States
Beautiful, adult driven and anally taken care of 2011 Mustang GT Premium Coupe - Never smoked in. Looks, drives and handles exactly like brand new...well, better than new with the steeda/koni suspension. I bought the car new, fulfilling a high school dream, and never fell in love with it...hence the super low miles. My loss = your gain. Mint condition 2011 Ford Mustang GT 5.0 Premium in Grabber Blue (pretty much the best color). 6-speed manual transmission. Original MSRP $35.5k. Only 4k miles!!! Not a typo, only 4050 miles (I still drive this car once in a while to keep engine lubed, battery charged and to keep tires from getting dead spots). Always garage kept and stored during the winter...hardly seen rain and never seen snow. Factory options include Brembo Brake Package w/ 19" wheels and 3.73 rear gear differential. I bought this car new from Apple Ford in Columbia, MD, where it's been serviced since. Car is immaculate with no scratches, dings or dents, inside or out. Charcoal black leather seats, power driver seat, power windows, Shaker stereo w/ Microsoft Sync. Looks and drives like showroom new. Suspension is upgraded from stock to Koni STR.T shocks/struts and Steeda Sport springs and Steeda adjustable caster camber plates (will include factory struts/springs). This suspension upgrade conservatively lowered the car (almost an inch) and makes it handle/feel like it's on rails. OEM mufflers replaced with Roush axle-back exhaust (sounds awesome) and will include factory mufflers if desired. Powertrain warranty coverage of remaining factory 5-year/60K miles. Please note this auction includes the OEM silver 19" wheels that only come with the Brembo brake package. The 20" matte black Forgestar wheels pictured are not included in the auction but are available for negotiation. I also have a couple other aftermarket parts available including a painted color matched Shelby GT500 spoiler and a bi-xenon HID headlight kit. All these extras can be negotiated for with the sales price.
Car has never been in an accident, never had paint or body work or any repair. Clean Carfax is guaranteed. • Brembo brake package
• Stock 19" Brembo package premium wheels and Pirelli P-Zero 255/40-19 tires, tons of tread left (only on for 1000 miles).
• 3.73 rear gear differential • 6-Speed manual transmission
• Perfect Grabber Blue exterior paint
• Charcoal black leather seats • Power driver seat • Power locks/windows • Two smart keys, owners manual and original sticker • 35% tint all around
• Premium stereo - Shaker with Microsoft Sync and satellite radio
• Low miles, meticulously babied, full documentation/service records available
In-person pickup preferred, but will consider helping with vehicle freight service. Deposit of $500 due via Paypal within 48 hrs of auction close - Please have financing lined up ahead of time if necessary...I am not a bank or car dealer. Upon sale, within seven days buyer pays payoff amount (about $6.5K...it's a pretty painless process.) to Navy Federal Credit Union and remainder to me, or entire sales price to me and I'll pay Navy Federal. |

New GM subcompact SUV spied, could be a Chevy or GMC
Mon, Aug 13 2018GM's pair of subcompact crossovers have been trundling along for a while now. The Buick Encore was the first for Americans in the 2013 model year, and the Chevy Trax that was based on the Encore (an encore of the Encore, if you will) arrived for the 2015 model year. Each has undergone a mild update, but these spy photos could indicate their replacements are in the works. Or not. For starters, we can't be sure which GM brand this new SUV is destined for. Though the timing and its flowing lines could indicate Buick, the thick horizontal bars visible in the grille would indicate otherwise. The next Encore being at least related to this is at least a possibility. Making the case for GMC are those thick grille bars, the fact that it extends far below the lights, and may even rise above them, similar to the Acadia. And that rising beltline isn't that different from that of the Acadia. Arguing against the GMC idea is the Encore, which is almost always sold in GMC-Buick combo dealers. Much as the Acadia was made smaller to eliminate confusion and in-house competition with the Enclave, it's hard to see GM opting to resurrect such an issue at the bottom end of the SUV market. That means we're leaning toward this little SUV wearing a Chevy bowtie. The split grille with a large lower section and small upper section is the brand's current design language, as seen on the new Malibus and Cruzes. The shape is vaguely Equinox-like. And like Buick, Chevy also has a subcompact crossover ready for replacement: the Trax. Now, our photographer reports he's seen another subcompact testing that has Blazer design cues, but in this crossover-hungry market, we wouldn't be surprised if two similarly sized but differently styled Chevy crossovers make the grade. It's a strategy that's working pretty well for Jeep. We'll no doubt be seeing more of these disguised test vehicles milling about the country in the coming months, so perhaps we'll eventually get a better idea of what this is before more official information starts trickling out within one or two years. The USPS needs 180,000 new delivery vehicles, automakers gearing up to bid
Wed, Feb 18 2015Winning the New York City Taxi of Tomorrow tender was a huge prize for Nissan, even though the company is still working through the process of claiming its prize. The United States Postal Service has begun the process to take bids for a new delivery vehicle to replace the all-too-familiar Grumman Long Life Vehicle, and that will be a much larger plum for the automaker who wins it, perhaps worth more than six billion dollars. The Grumman LLV is an aluminum body covering a Chevrolet S-10 pickup chassis and General Motors' Iron Duke four-cylinder engine. The USPS bought them from 1987 to 1994, and the 163,000 of them still in service are a monumental drain on postal resources: they get roughly ten miles to the gallon instead of the quoted 16 mpg, drink up more than $530 million in fuel each year, and their constant repair needs like the balky sliding door and leaky windshields have led the service to increase the annual maintenance budget from $100 million to $500 million. A seat belt is about as modern as it gets for safety technology, and the USPS says that assuming things stay the same, it can't afford to run them beyond 2017. Last year it put out two triage requests for proposals seeking 10,000 new chassis and drivetrains for the Grumman and 10,000 new vehicles. The LLV is also too small for the modern mail system in which package delivery is growing and letter delivery is declining. The service says it doesn't have a fixed idea of the ideal "next-generation delivery vehicles," but it listed a number of requirements in its initial request and is open to any proposal. Carriers have some suggestions, though, saying they want better cupholders, sun visors that they can stuff letters behind, a driver's compartment free of slits that can swallow mail, and a backup camera. The request for information sent to automakers pegs the tender at 180,000 vehicles that would cost between $25,000 and $35,000 apiece, and it will hold a conference on February 18 to answer questions about the contract. GM is the only domestic maker to avow an interest, while Ford and Fiat-Chrysler have remained cagey. Yet with a possible $6.3 billion up for grabs and some new vans for sale that would be advertised on every block in the country, we have a feeling everyone will be listening closely come February 18. We also have a feeling the LeMons series is going to be flooded with Grummans come 2017. News Source: Wall Street Journal, Automotive News - sub.
