Mechanic special! Can drive 1, 2 miles max !!! NO COOLING SYSTEM WORK ! I have this minivan for 7 years. We pay more $3000. I use like cargo van. Seats was in storage for all time. I use only for trip to Home Depot and Lowe's. And traveled several times to New York. We bought foreclosed house what need a lot repair. Original engine has about 80,000 miles at that time, and was over heating. Car brake down. We are put new engine at 2008 by Elkins Automotive in Charlotte. Cost more $3000. I think they give bad job. we put NEW (NEW!!! from NEW broken during shipment car with 5 miles on it!). Now car have only 109,380 miles, and head gasket blow. I changed thermostat, try to fix by very expansive Head gasket fix, no result. Antifreeze licked under engine. Need close attention by mechanic. I don't have money, patients and energy. Car must go. AC need recharge. Fan not 100% like need it. Some rust. Broken, front bumper from blow tire. Spare full rim only.(with blow tire) Car need town, or slow drive in Charlotte to close repair shop. I have 4 new GOODYEAR tires 215-70-15 for this van. Not install. If you want $275.00 plus. |

Nissan Leaf sales get January jump as Chevy Volt trends downward
Mon, Feb 3 2014The cold January sales dip hit both the Nissan Leaf and the Chevy Volt last month, but when compared 2014 to 2013's first-month-of-the-year sales totals, one of the two early plug-in vehicles obviously came out on top. The top Leaf market also shifted away from Atlanta for the first time in months. Last year, the Leaf sold just 650 units in January, but it managed to move 1,252 last month, a 92.6-percent increase over 2013 but a big drop from the 2,529 sold in December 2013. Paige Presley over at Nissan told AutoblogGreen that the Leaf has now broken sales records for 11 months straight and that, "we see unique seasonality with some December pull-ahead demand based on federal and state tax incentives." The number one Leaf market also shifted away from Atlanta for the first time in months, moving back to San Francisco. That change could be short-lived. "We had some inventory constraint issues early in the month in Atlanta with end-of-year demand depleting stock," Presley said. "By the time we resolved that, the weather hampered sales." There was not as much good news on the Chevrolet front. Last month, the Volt sold 918 units, down from 1,140 in January 2013 and 2,392 in December 2013. It also marks the first time the Volt has sold in the three-digit range since January 2012, when it sold 603 copies. That string of solid months means that the plug-in hybrid has a roughly 12,000-unit lead over the EV since the two cars brought plug-in vehicles back to the mass market all the way back in December 2010. Feds open investigation into Chevy Express, Ford Freestar rust issues
Wed, 28 Dec 2011'Tis the season... for road salt. And with that, comes rust. And what does rust bring? Well, for Ford and General Motors, a National Highway Traffic Safety Administration investigation. According to The Detroit News, NHTSA is looking into potential recalls issues with Chevrolet Express vans and Ford Freestar minivans.
The feds have received five complaints that rust has caused leaking fuel filler pipes on 2003 Express vans. Separately, seven complaints have been filed over excessive rust in the rear wheel wells of 2004 Ford Freestar and Mercury Monterey minivans. The Freestar and Monterey went out of production in 2007. Neither issue has resulted in any crashes or injuries, according to the report.
