97 moonlight blue saleen #34 true saleen 93k original miles on the body very rare moonlight blue.Very reliable car would not hesitate to drive it anywhere, has working heat, wipers, gauges, turn signals ,radio, cruise control ect AC needs recharged. It has been drove multiple times over 10 hours since it was swapped,It was drove to myrtle beach for mustang week in 2013 and 2014 and drove home with no issues.Currently being daily driven. The paint and body is not show condition its about a 7/10 has normal wear like rock chips on the front bumper, small spots on the fiberglass bumpers ect.If you are looking for a show car this is not it, it would need to be repainted for it to be perfect dont get me wrong it looks great and is not something you would be ashamed to drive or anything like that I just dont want anyone to get the idea that is perfect its a driver, you get in it drive it to work everyday and have the only sn95 saleen with a coyote swap I know of.As far as the swap it was done right no corners cut engine is a 2013 coyote 5.0  with 21k miles on it,stock other then the timing cover, headers and exhaust runs great, revs to 7600 rpm with no issues gets 20+ mpg and sounds great. The transmission is out of a wrecked 04 cobra it has a total of 5100 miles on it now with a centerforce clutch rated for 650 ft lbs of torque great daily driver clutch its not stiff but holds the power great. No grinds, popping out of gear or any other issues with the trans, it doesnt leak any fluid or have any other known mechanical issues. The stock gauges, power windows and everything works just like a stock 97 mustang. The coyote is a great motor the 2013 mustangs run mid 12s at around 4000lbs the 97s are quite a bit lighter making it an easy mid 11 second car with a basically stock motor.I have only made 1 pass at the track with it it ran an 11.7@120 with a 1.6x 60 ft it started raining and they closed the track but im pretty confident it would make an 11.5 or so pass launching it at higher rpms. The interior is in good shape a solid 8-9/10 no rips, tears, stains or anything like that.below is a list of mods I can send anymore videos and or pics by request you can contact me at five one three-seven zero nine-nine seven two seven if i dont answer send me a text or leave a voice mail and ill get back to you. car is located in dayton ohio

Detroit 3 to implement delayed unified towing standards for 2015

Tue, Feb 11 2014

Car buyers have a responsibility to be well-informed consumers. That's not always a very simple task, but some guidelines are self-evident. If you live in a very snowy climate, you generally know a Ford Mustang or Chevrolet Camaro might not be as viable a vehicle choice as an all-wheel drive Explorer or Traverse, for example. If you want a fuel-efficient car, it's generally a good idea to know the difference between a diesel and a hybrid. But what if it's kind of tough to be an informed consumer? What if the information you need is more difficult to come by, or worse, based on different standards for each vehicle? Well, in that case, you might be a truck shopper. For years, customers of light-duty pickups have had to suffer through different ratings of towing capacities for each brand. For 2015 model year trucks, though, that will no longer be a problem. According to Automotive News, General Motors, Ford and Chrysler Group have announced that starting with next year's models, a common standard will be used to measure towing capacity. The Detroit Three will join Toyota, which adopted the Society of Automotive Engineers' so-called SAE J2807 standards way back in 2011. The standard was originally supposed to be in place for MY2013, but concerns that it would lower the overall stated capacity for trucks led Detroit automakers to pass. Ford originally passed, claiming it'd wait until its new F-150 was launched to adopt the new standards, leading GM and Ram to follow suit. Nissan, meanwhile, has said it will adopt the new standards as its vehicles are updated, meaning the company's next-generation Titan should adhere to the same tow ratings as its competitors. While the adoption of SAE J2807 will be helpful for light-duty customers, those interested in bigger trucks will still be left with differing standards. There is no sign of the new tow standards being adopted for the heavy-duty market.

Chevy Crossvolt name kept alive in new trademark application

Fri, Dec 26 2014

In April 2011 General Motors submitted a trademark application with the US Patent and Trademark Office for the word "Crossvolt." In November of this year, the application expired for lack of a statement of use. But in August of this year, GM applied again for the same trademark, leading some to believe that it intends to apply the name to a vehicle. That vehicle could explain the mule in sliced-and-diced Chevrolet Orlando bodywork caught in several spy shots this year, theorized to be some kind of Toyota Prius V or Ford C-Max Hybrid competitor; or it could be a production version of the Chevrolet Volt MP5 concept showed off at the Beijing Motor Show in 2010, which was about the same size as the Chevy Orlando. Or it could be none of those things – but the fact that Chevrolet is keeping it current makes us believe it will be... something. Nissan sells 3,117 Leaf EVs in May, climbs over 3,000 for first time ever

Tue, Jun 3 2014

Chalk up a big win for the Nissan Leaf. In May, the world's most popular electric vehicle sold a record 3,117 units, the first time any pure electric vehicle has sold over 3,000 units in a month in the US (unless Tesla managed that feat but rolled the number into a quarterly report). This marks the 15th month in a row of record Leaf sales and the seventh where the Leaf was the top EV seller in the US. The challenge bar is set for someone to step up to compete with this all-electric wunderkind. Chevrolet did sell over 3,000 Volts once, in August 2013. The Leaf's one long-standing competitor, of a sort, is the Chevy Volt, which used to regularly outsell the Leaf but moved only 1,684 units in May. That's still an increase of 4.8 percent over 2013 but is part of a 4.5 percent decline in year-to-date Volt sales for 2014 compared to last year. The last time the Volt outsold the Leaf was October 2013. Chevrolet did sell over 3,000 Volts once, when it moved 3,351 in August 2013. Let's take another look at those 3,117 Leafs sold last month. They represent a 45.8 percent increase over May 2013, when 2,138 Leaf EVs were sold, so someone is doing something right in Japan and Tennessee. So far, Leaf sales in the US are up 36.4 percent year-to-date, to 10,389 EVs. That's just under half of the 2013 total, and it was accomplished in five months. In 2013, Nissan sold a total of 22,610 Leafs. Anyone want to hazard a guess where the total will be at the end of the year? As always, we'll have our detailed monthly sales write-up including other plug-in vehicles as well as hybrids and diesel car, up soon. For now, though, the big news is big Leaf sales. Read Nissan's press release below. Nissan Group reports May 2014 U.S. sales May 2014 May 2013 % Change Nissan Group Total sales (units) 135,934 114,457 +18.8 Nissan Division May sales 125,558 106,558 +17.8 Infiniti May sales* 10,376 7,899 +31.4 NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Nissan Group today announced total U.S. sales for May 2014 of 135,934 units, an increase of 18.8 percent over the prior year and a May record. Nissan highlights: Nissan Division set a May record at 125,558 sales in the month, an increase of 17.8 percent. This marks a monthly record for Nissan division in 14 of the last 15 months. May was the best-ever month for Nissan LEAF with 3,117 sales, an increase of 45.8 percent over the prior year. In May, LEAF passed 50,000 total U.S. sales since launch, further establishing it as the leader among electric vehicles.
