Up for sale today is a BEAUTIFUL, problem free 2003 Trailblazer EXT Extended 4x4 with the 4.2L I6 with 129k miles, flawless with ZERO PROBLEMS. Our family has been the SECOND owners, and have owned it since the original owner since 2005. Our grandfather bought it, then passed it on to my parents, and then I got it. The only reason I am selling it is because I bought a new Avalanche. It is fully loaded with every option you could want including Flip down DVD player, 4 wheel drive, an automatic transmission, power drivers seat, dual lumbar, full power windows (with power rear windows!) locks, mirrors, A/C, Rear air, 7 passenger seating, a tow package, roof rack, Factory CD Player, running boards, BRAND NEW TIRES and much more!

This truck has always been a great runner, and has always been properly maintained. Our grandfather had it fully inspected by a dealership he bought it from in 2005 with 25k miles. Previous owner stated it had full Synthetic for oil changes every 3k miles, which we also have kept up on. The transmission was flushed with a new filter and the coolant system was flushed every 2 years as scheduled maintenance.

I gave the vehicle a complete overhaul in January of this year. I had planned on keeping it a few more years, and wanted it to be perfect. I took it to my mechanics shop, because it was making some odd noises and it needed some normal wear and tare items. They talked me into upgrading to the Trailblazer SS Bilstein shocks and struts suspension upgrade, which I had them complete. The truck runs and drives like a new vehicle. The total bill ended up being a little over $3,000, and they also replaced all the tires with Goodyear Fortera's , which have about 80% or more tread left. They also replaced the fuel pump and lines because the fuel gauge wasn't working (A problem on almost ALL used trailblazers!) and replaced the front and rear brakes. They also replaced all the control arm bushings, sway bar bushings and end links, wheel bearings, and steering gear and tie rods as they are starting to leak. They also did a full transmission service, and did a full ignition tune up. I promise you won't find a better looking, better running Trailblazer Extended 4x4 used ever again.

This Trailblazer looks great, paint shines beautifully, and there were no major imperfections I could see, as you can tell in pictures. There are a few scuffs on the front and rear bumper from other inconsiderate drivers in parking lots, but you have to look hard to find them. The interior also looks great with no major imperfections. Vehicle has never been smoked in, and all power options work. Not a single trouble light on the dash, and nothing to fix. This is as close as you will get to a new vehicle, while buying used. The only issues with the entire vehicle is that the A/C could use a recharge, and there is a tiny exhaust leak.

I promise you won't even find another Trailblazer in better condition AT a dealership. If you are looking to save $1,000 on a junk 4x4 Trailblazer EXT that needs work, this isn't the vehicle for you. If you are looking for a flawless Trailblazer that needs nothing and runs like new, with $3,000 in repairs over the last months and a drop down DVD player, you will not find a better deal. This engine has a great balance between power and mpg for an SUV. You will be hard pressed to find a better looking, nicer condition 7 Passenger SUV in this price range. I have the title in hand, no liens, ready to be sold TODAY. Please contact me at (614)522.9626 with any questions!

I work at a car transport company, and get GREAT rates on transport if you'd like this vehicle delivered to you. I also would be willing to pick you up from Hopkins international airport in Cleveland, as this vehicle would make it across the country without a single problem!

Here are over 100+ Additional pictures, showing the full inside and outside the vehicle. Towards the bottom you will find the receipt with over $3,000 in repairs, as well as an accident free flawless carfax, as well as a video showing how quiet and like new the engine runs:

Next-gen Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra may use carbon fiber

Thu, Dec 7 2017

It's been generally accepted that the next generation of full-size GM trucks will use some sort of strong, lightweight material for the beds while retaining steel for the cab. While aluminum seems like the most obvious choice, according to Automotive News, the Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra will incorporate both aluminum and carbon fiber in their beds. The publication cites sources from within GM, though it seems the introduction of this comparatively exotic material mix is still a few years off. While carbon fiber is both stronger and lighter than steel and aluminum, it takes significantly more time and money to produce, essentially relegating the material to small-volume cars. The main benefit for trucks is the resulting reduction in weight to improve fuel economy without sacrificing the tough, rugged capabilities truck buyers expect. The Ford F-150 made the switch to aluminum for the 2015 model year and it's proved highly successful. It seemed like it was only a matter of time before the competition followed suit. Automotive News says that the next-gen trucks will launch with aluminum beds and that it will take a couple of years before we'll see any carbon fiber incorporated into the design. Even then, only look for the composite material on higher-trim models, with a trickle down to lower-spec trucks possible further in the future. In 2011, GM announced it was working with Japan-based Teijin Limited on a carbon fiber reinforced thermoplastic. There's a good chance that material's introduction will be on trucks. GM recalls select Tahoes, Yukons, Escalades for rear driveshaft issue

Mon, Feb 7 2022

GM is recalling a number of its full-size SUVs due to an issue with the rear driveshaft assembly that could ultimately result in driveshaft failure. The actual number of total vehicles involved in the recall is small at just 1,789, but it’s spread out across the entire 2021 model year full-size GM vehicle lineup. That means a small number of every model is being recalled, including the Chevrolet Tahoe, Suburban, GMC Yukon, Yukon XL and the Cadillac Escalade and Escalade ESV. GM traced the issue back to certain driveshaft assemblies with ball bearings that were not properly heat treated. If theyÂ’re not properly heat treated, GM says that the balls may deform over time, causing noise and vibration. Continue to drive in this condition, and GM says the affected joint in the driveshaft assembly could seize, causing loss of drive power. However, the problem wonÂ’t present itself all at once, as GM says there will be a gradual increase of noises and vibrations before total failure. For those few owners with affected vehicles, GM says that it will replace the left and right rear driveshaft assemblies with properly-built units. Per usual with recalls, this will be done at your local dealership at no cost to the owner. If you have one of the recalled SUVs, expect to be notified mid-March. Related video:

Chevy dials up the razzle dazzle for Special Ops concept

Wed, Nov 4 2015

Inspired by naval camouflage schemes used during the First World War, Chevy created the 2016 Silverado Special Ops concept, which is on display this week at the SEMA Show in Las Vegas. Based on the 1500 Z71, this Silverado wears a three-tone paint job that mixes different shades of blue, which Chevy says gives the concept visual depth. The appearance is a riff on early 20th Century color configurations used by the US and British navies. Called razzle dazzle, the look is meant to disguise ships' size, speed, and direction. On the Silverado, it simply adds character and gives the truck a more military bearing. The concept also gets flared wheel arches, a sport bar in the bed with LED lights, and a utility storage system. The grille is fitted with black accents and has a thin LED strip running across the top. Inside, orange is used for the door pulls and glove box handle, and the instrument panel and arm rests have more dazzle coloring. The truck also gets an upgraded exhaust kit, six-piston brakes, and a performance air intake. Chevrolet Introduces Silverado Special Ops Concept Military-inspired truck reinforces capability with go-anywhere style LAS VEGAS – Chevrolet's 2016 Silverado Special Ops concept imagines a unique rescue vehicle for special-operations forces. It is based on the Silverado 1500 Z71, which features a new front-end design and new technologies built into its strong, high-strength steel body structure and fully boxed frame, and draws its design inspiration from naval design aesthetics. "This Silverado concept is a multipurpose truck that reflects the go-anywhere, do-anything commitment of special-forces teams," said Jim Campbell, GM U.S. vice president of Performance Vehicles and Motorsports. The naval-inspired camo appearance, called Razzle Dazzle, was developed more than 100 years ago to disguise a ship's speed, direction and profile to the enemy's eye. It is based on a three-tone blue exterior color, marked by a distinctive array of varying colored lines and shapes intended to mask the ship. "We created light, medium and darker shaded areas within camouflage bands flowing down the hood, body sides and tailgate," said Todd Parker, director of design, Chevrolet Accessories.
