Our Tahoe was purchased brand new in March 2006 and has been used by my wife. We have clear title in hand. The paint is in nearly flawless condition and has a beautiful and deep shine, no doubt due to always being garaged and waxed. THIS TAHOE RETAINS ALL OF IT'S ORIGINAL PAINT, FROM THE FACTORY. The interior is fresh and there are no signs of any wear, except for one small area behind the 3rd row seat where a couple of drops of bleach had spilled out on the carpet. This is minor and does not detract from the interior. WE ARE NON SMOKERS. The Tahoe drives like a 65000 mile SUV should and just as good as it did when it was brand new. The tires have less than 5000 miles on them. The oil has always been done at 5000 mile intervals. This vehicle is a no excuses vehicle which needs nothing. Please note that I said that the condition is "nearly flawless". That said, our Tahoe is not brand new and may have a paint chip of a very small ding but one would be very hard pressed to find these. I would consider it's condition to be FAR above the norm for a 2006. We are selling because a large SUV is no longer needed by us. I encourage anyone to inspect (or have it inspected) at any time. GM veteran Bryan Nesbitt tapped to head Buick design

General Motors styling veteran Bryan Nesbitt (pictured above) took over a new role on Monday as executive director of global Buick design and global architectures. Andrew Smith, who previously did that job and also coordinated the look for Cadillac, has remained in charge of the pen at Caddy with this shift. Nesbitt rose to prominence when he designed the Chrysler PT Cruiser, according to Automotive News. He joined GM in 2001 and has been there ever since in multiple high-level roles. In 2007, he was appointed vice president of design for North America and was later briefly general manager of Cadillac in 2009-2010. Nesbitt took over as the vice president of GM's international operations design in China in 2011. This shuffle also moves Ken Parkinson, currently styling boss for Chevrolet trucks, to China as design vice president there. In addition, John Cafaro becomes the person in charge of the look for Chevy globally, rather than previously splitting that role between cars and trucks with Parkinson. GM Global Design Leadership Changes – effective June 1, 2015. Bryan Nesbitt, Design Vice President, GM China will repatriate to North America and assume the position of Executive Director, Global Buick and Global Architectures. He will be located in Warren, MI. Bryan will be the design Champion for Buick in the US and China. Ken Parkinson, Executive Director, Global Chevrolet Trucks and Global Architecture will assume the position of Design Vice President, GM China. He will be based in Shanghai, China. Andrew Smith, Executive Director, Global Cadillac and Buick Design will assume the position of Executive Director, Global Cadillac. He will continue to be the design Champion for the Cadillac brand. In addition, he will continue to lead the Global Color & Trim team. He will be based in Warren, Michigan. John Cafaro, Executive Director, Global Chevrolet Cars will assume the position of Executive Director, Global Chevrolet. He will be the design Champion for Chevrolet. First 2014 Chevy Corvette Stingray spotted crashed in the wild

This restyled blue 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray is wearing manufacturer plates, and it appears to be the same one seen around the internet in various pictures lately. This crash is likely not part of the Chevrolet testing regimen, however. Digital Corvettes forum member gpetry posted the shot with a note: "got this picture e-mailed from a friend in Arizona last week..." No circumstances are given, other than the incident occurred in the thick of a set of curvy roads, and the coupe ping-ponged off a guardrail and into the rock wall. Hopefully everyone involved in the incident walked away.
It may not be a pretty thing to see, a crashed sports car that's not even available for sale yet, but rest easy. Many pre-production cars are used for development and then unceremoniously crushed and scrapped, anyway. If that's the case here, that makes this wrecked 'Vette less of a tragedy and more of a case of exceptional efficiency.

Corvette Stolen In Detroit Returned To Owner After 33 Years

A Detroit man had his stolen Corvette returned 33 years after it disappeared while parked on one of Detroit's main drags, according to ABC 7. The last time George Talley saw his 1979 Corvette was on a July day in 1981, when it disappeared from its parking spot on Jefferson Avenue in Detroit. He had given up hope of ever seeing his car again, until a phone call from AAA brought his sporty ride home. Authorities had come across a Corvette with a questionable VIN in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. When they ran the number Talley's stolen car report came up. The car is still in pretty good shape and only has 47,000 miles on the odometer. Talley wasn't sure how he could get the car back home, but General Motors stepped in and agreed to cover the cost of bringing the 'Vette home. Talley has always had a passion for Detroit-made muscle cars. "I've always liked Corvettes. It was attractive. The ladies like 'em," Talley told ABC 7.
