My employer, Cash Time Loans, is looking to sell this 2008 Chevrolet Tahoe LS. With just 124,k miles, this Tahoe offers a powerful, yet fuel efficient 4.8-liter V8, automatic transmission, and cloth interior. The previous owner of this Tahoe took excellent care of the vehicle inside and out with excellent paint, custom GMC 20-inch wheels, chrome grille, and blacked out lights. Because this vehicle is repo, expect some scratches and dents. Upon inspection, the paint on this vehicle is practically flawless with minor clear coat burn on the right front door, hood, and roof thanks to the hot Phoenix sun. The interior is in great condition with the exception of the front row arm rest shows little wear. When the vehicle was repossessed, the tires were in poor condition so we did install brand new 50,k mile tires. Just a note, when I vin'd this Tahoe here on ebay it says the vehicle has a 5.3-liter engine, but based on the inspection of the vehicle and using other decoders including Edmunds, this vehicle has the correct 4.8-liter V8. I have changed all the engine specs that I could find, but I wanted to let you know again. Also, this vehicle did not come with the third row seat. Companies do make anchors for the third row seat and one can be installed, but again this vehicle does not have one. Since my employer is a finance company, financing and warranties are available. 2014 Chevy Cruze Diesel destined for Chicago debut
Mon, 28 Jan 2013It's been a little over a year and a half since General Motors first confirmed plans to offer a diesel-powered Chevrolet Cruze here in the United States, and we've now learned that the oil-burning compact will debut under the lights of the Chicago Auto Show in February. According to GM Authority, the Cruze Eco-D will be introduced as part of the entire 2014 model year Cruze range, set to go on sale in the second quarter of this year.
Earlier reports have indicated that the diesel Cruze will be able to achieve fuel economy numbers in the range of 50 miles per gallon. For comparison, the similarly sized Volkswagen Jetta TDI is rated at 30/42 mpg city/highway, but as we found out in our long-term test of the 2011 model, hitting 50 mpg was a piece of cake.
Official specifications will be released at the time of the 2014 Cruze's unveiling, though reports have stated that the sedan will be powered by a reworked version of the 2.0-liter turbo-diesel inline-four found in the Holden Cruze CDX overseas. In that application, the four-pot oil-burner produces 160 horsepower and 265 pound-feet of torque - increases of 20 hp and 29 lb-ft over the 2.0-liter engine used in VW's Jetta TDI.
Ford, Toyota clean up in Best Car For The Money Awards
Fri, 22 Feb 2013The U.S. News Best Cars for the Money Awards picks winners by looking at the average transaction price, five-year total cost of ownership, the regard a car has from the automotive press, reliability figures from J.D. Power and Associates and safety data from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety. The result, according to the magazine, is "the best combination of critical acclaim and long-term value."
Ford nabbed six of the 21 categories that received awards this year, the Focus, Fusion, Fusion Hybrid, Taurus, Escape and Edge getting trophies. Toyota and its Lexus and Scion sub-brands took another five, the Tacoma and Tundra owning the two categories given to pickup trucks. The other ten awards were split between Honda with three, Buick with two, and one each for Subaru, BMW, Hyundai, Chevrolet and Mazda.
