RUNS GOOD, HAS NOISY VALVES OR LIFTERS WHEN I FIRST START IT UP SO I PUT HEAVIER WEIGHT OIL IN AND ITS SEEMS OK. I JUST PUT A SIGNIFICANT AMOUNT OF MONEY INTO IT. IT HAS A NEW FRONT DRIVERS SIDE HUB ASSEMBLY, 4 NEW DRILLED OUT ROTORS, ALL NEW CERAMIC PADS. TWO NEW REAR CALIPERS, NEW FRONT AND BACK BRAKE LINES, AND NEW FRONT BRAKE HOSES. FOUR NEW SHOCKS INSTALLED ABOUT 1 YEAR AGO.

VEHICLE DOES HAVE SOME ISSUES. ABS LIGHT IS ON, POSSIBLY TOLD THE PUMP MAYBE BAD. THE OIL PRESSURE GAUGE IS PINNED TO THE RIGHT. IT HAS BEEN LIKE THAT FOR OVER A YEAR. NOISY VALVES/LIFTERS AS STATED PREVIOUSLY.DOES HAVE RUST STARTING IN SPOTS, MOSTLY ON BACK TAIL GATE AND BOTTOM OF DOORS. INTERIOR IS IN VERY NICE CONDITION. IT HAS A WHELEN LIGHT BAR . IT HAS HIDE AWAY STROBES IN FRONT LIGHTS AND REAR LIGHTS, ALL WORK FINE. IT HAS A ALPINE AM/FM RADIO INSTALLED WITH SIRIUS AND CD PLAYER. OTHER THAN THE ABS, VALVES/LIFTERS AND GAUGE ISSUE THIS HAS BEEN A VERY RELIABLE TRUCK FOR ME. IT HAS GOTTEN ME THROUGH SOME TOUGH CONNECTICUT WINTERS. THIS WOULD BE A GREAT TRUCK FOR A SECURITY FIRM, HIGHWAY ESCORT VEHICLE, LAW ENFORCEMENT ETC.

I AM INCLUDING THE 4 WHEELS THAT WERE ON WHEN I PURCHASED IT. ALSO INCLUDED IS THE 2 BUMPER GUARDS ENDS THAT I TOOK OFF THE PUSH BUMPER THAT HAD ROTTED OUT. THE SPARE TIRE IS BRAND NEW AS WELL AS THE SPARE TIRE HOIST UNDER THE VEHICLE. THE PRICE IS NEGOTIABLE SO PLEASE SEE THE VEHICLE FIRST THEN MAKE ME AN OFFER. I AM STILL USING THE TRUCK DAILY. Engine block heater issues force GM to recall 324,226 diesel heavy duty trucks

General Motors has issued a recall on 324,226 diesel heavy duty trucks that could be susceptible to short circuits, and consequently, potential fire. The recall affects several models of heavy duty Chevrolet Silverados and GMC Sierras with optional engine block heaters. GM is recalling seven different truck models spread across three years. The recall affects the 2017-2019 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD, 2017-2019 Silverado 3500HD, 2019 Silverado 4500HD, 2019 Silverado 5500HD, and 2019 Silverado 6500HD, plus the 2017-2019 GMC Sierra 2500HD and 2017-2019 Sierra 3500HD. Specifically, it includes these models with the 6.6-liter Duramax diesel engines and the optional engine block heater. The recall technically deals not with the engine block heater itself, but the way it is connected. According to NHTSA campaign No. 19V328000, the engine block heater cord or the terminals that link the cord to the heater could short circuit. A short circuit could potentially damage engine components and result in a fire. According to The Detroit News, 19 fires have been reported but nobody has been injured. GM has yet to figure out a fix, and thus has not yet released a notification schedule for affected customers. Chevy bringing updated Equinox to Chicago

An updated Chevy Equinox will be revealed at next week's Chicago Auto Show, the automaker confirmed Friday in a press release. The debut of the updated, 2016 Equinox comes on the heels of the midsize crossover – pictured above in its current, 2015-model-year form Â– posting its best January sales month ever. No details have been released, but Chevy did send out the teaser image you see at right, showing an updated front fascia with new headlamps and LED running lights. This update for the Equinox can't come soon enough. The midsize crossover segment is huge right now, and Chevy's player has largely been unchanged since the second-generation Equinox debuted in 2009. When asked about when we might see a tweaked version of the GMC Terrain Â– the Equinox's sibling Â– a General Motors spokesperson could not confirm any specific timing. In any case, we'll bring you all the official details of the new Equinox when it shows its updated face, next week.
