~2001 Chevrolet Tahoe LT 4x4~

Up for sale is a 2001 Chevrolet Tahoe LT 4x4. This vehicle is equipped with a 5.3 LT Vortex engine, automatic transmission, & 4x4. This SUV currently has 237,050 miles on it but it will change due to driving it almost everyday. I have owned this vehicle since early 2013. I had the transmission replaced with a rebuilt one in March 2013. The Tahoe is the LT model which includes: air conditioning with climate control, carpet floor mats, online information system, leather seat upholstery with additional vinyl, Memorized adjustment with two settings and four driver's seat positions, height adjustable two head restraints on front seats with rotational adjustment, audio system, garage door opener, rear window, driver and passenger body color door mirrors. As far as the condition of the vehicle it's in great running shape, it's 12 years old so it does have some use to it. The interior is in good shape except for the driver's front seat leather is ripped on the seat and the arm rest. The exterior needs some attention due to the paint fading. The driver's side front fender does have some scratches and a small dent. The tires are in GREAT shape they are Falken and have about 75% tread life remaining. Since owning the vehicle I have replaced the following items: Front Windshield, New Window Tint, New Power Steering Pump, New Steering Gear Box, & and as stated above had transmission rebuilt. Overall this is a great running vehicle for its age and condition. KBB value in FAIR Condition is over $5,000.00.

Was the C7 Corvette cut from Beyonce's Super Bowl halftime show?

Someone was bound to receive a free 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray during the Super Bowl XLVII festivities; it just wasn't who we thought it was going to be. Despite a report back in December that superstar Beyoncé Knowles would be getting an all-new Corvette during her halftime performance, that turned out not to be the case. Joe Flacco, starting quarterback for the Baltimore Ravens, did in fact win a Corvette for his MVP performance.
So what transpired that prevented Beyoncé from rolling on stage in the new Chevrolet? Anyone who knows isn't telling, but according to Yahoo! Autos, General Motors said that for one reason or another a deal "did not work out," and it appears to have been an eleventh-hour change. Regardless of who's to blame or what prevented this from happening, we're sure Chevy has had no problems getting attention for the C7 Corvette since it was introduced last month.

GM natural gas-powered vans recalled due to possible leak

General Motors is recalling almost 3,200 of its compressed-natural-gas powered utility vans because of possible leaks. GM and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) released a notice last week saying that 3,196 Chevrolet Express and GMC Savana CNG vans are on recall, though no accidents have been reported due to the possible issue. The recall is specifically for vans for model years ranging from 2011 to 2014. The recall stems from a potential leak from the compressed natural gas high-pressure regulator, and such a leak could cause a fire or explosion. GM will replace the vehicles' high-pressure regulator in order to fix the problem, will do it free of charge and is instructing owners to contact Chevrolet or GMC customer service to arrange for the parts replacement. Utility vehicle makers like General Motors have pushed for fleet sales of CNG-powered vans and trucks for the past few years and have touted them for their cheaper refueling costs relative to standard gasoline, not to mention the fact that natural gas can be readily sourced from throughout North America (thanks, fracking). According to CNGPrices.com, compressed natural gas sells for about $2.22 a gallon, on average, while the AAA is pegging the average price of gas at $3.34 a gallon.
