I'm selling my Tahoe due to a baby on the way. Love this truck and sad to see it go but it NEEDS to go. I'm asking $8,500 please no trades I need the money It has a 10" custom suspension lift kit Transmission was rebuilt 10000 miles ago including chromoly gears and Kevlar clutch plates Rear end also rebuilt with chromo axles. This thing can tow! Aftermarket electronic trailer braking system No front driveline. Removed only because primary use was not off-road use 38" Mickey Thompson Baja MTZ tires with Mickey Thompson 16x10 rims Aftermarket boondock winch bumper (with no winch) with 4 HID fog lights Also a new oem black rear bumper (old one was chrome) All windows tinted besides windshield Interior is all leather with captain style front seats with arm rests. Also heated seats in the front. Power windows and seats and mirrors Custom center console with separate DVD player and monitor. Also monitor is a navigation that I've never used or figured out so I won't be able to answer tech questions. Pioneer displays in the headrests as well Kenwood USB ready deck 4 6 in round JL audio speakers in the doors with tweeters all ran through a 300w amp 2 10 in alpine type r sub woofers in the back connected to a 1700w ken wood amp All interior lights are led lights Again I love this truck and am sad to see it go but times are changing and I need to as well. Pushing Back: GM expanding Chevrolet into Korea, Daewoo out

General Motors decided several years ago to begin heavily promoting Chevrolet as its global mainstream brand even in markets where its existing brands like Opel and Daewoo were a dominant force. Today, at the Busan Motor Show in South Korea, GM Daewoo president Mike Arcamone announced that the Camaro would lead the way in GM's efforts to market Chevrolet in South Korea.
For now at least Chevrolet and Daewoo-branded vehicles will coexist in the Korean market. However, while we were in China last week GM officials told us that the Daewoo brand, which has been somewhat tainted by past quality issues, would eventually be phased out in favor of Chevrolet. When the new Aveo launches next year it will likely be badged as a Chevrolet even though GM Daewoo is in charge of engineering the car.
Experimental mid-engine XP-819 Corvette going up for auction
Sun, 17 Feb 2013It seems to be commonplace that when a new Corvette is in development, rumors swirl about a possible mid-engine layout. As is the case of Chevy's most recent C7 Corvette, these rumors never pan out.
In any case, the idea for a 'Vette with an engine mounted behind the driver can probably all be traced back to a single car, the 1964 XP-819 prototype. Built as an "engineering exercise" back in 1964, the prototype was designed with a rear-mounted engine. History tells us that the idea of a rear-engine Corvette fizzled, and the XP-819 was eventually cut up into pieces and stored at a shop in Daytona Beach, FL.
After sitting for untold years, a restoration project started on the car, and while it isn't yet fully completed, the current owner of the car, Mid America Motorworks, will have the car on display at the 2013 Amelia Island Concours d'Elegance as a "driveable chassis" with hopes of having a fully completed car ready to bring to next year's show.

The Poncho is dead. Long live the Poncho. Like certain other reoccurring personal maladies, the aftermarket community simply can't let the Trans Am go without another flare up. The guys at Trans Am Depot have worked up a quick commercial for their newest creation: The 2013 Trans Am Hurst Edition, and it watches pretty much like you'd expect it to. The footage is comprised of just about every TA male fantasy you can conceive of, from Daisy Dukes and white tank tops to tramp stamps, bikinis and ice cream cones. There simply aren't words for what you'll see below.
Of course, we like our T-Tops as much as the next guy. If you like what you see in the videos, you can pick up your very own TA by heading over to the Trans Am Depot site. The guys even have Chevrolet Camaro-based versions of the Pontiac GTO if the '77 TA treatment is too much for your tastes. Enjoy, but don't say we didn't warn you.
