I have a 1999 Chevy Tahoe 4x4 like the title states, its tan in color tan leather interior, seats are in good shape have normal cracking up front like most all gm seats, slight tear in drivers seat, power all works in them, power doors and windows, factory Bose stereo system, 132k miles i just replaced the fuel pump OEM from Chevrolet to match VIN, as well as converted the fuel injection system to MFI, within the last 20 miles have all paper work on that, also just installed new battery in February of this year, along with belts and oil, comes equip t with tow package and 4 wheel drive fully functions as it should, transmission just flushed and went through. its four doors with barn style in the rear, carpet isn't perfect but its a 99' could use a few more shampoo treatments, other than that i drove it on a daily bases i just received word im traveling out of country for work so no need for it to sit, great running truck, everything else on vehicle is stock other than the upgraded fuel system.

GM recalls select Chevy Cruze, Sonic and Buick Verano models over airbag issue

General Motors is recalling certain 2012 Buick Verano, Chevrolet Cruze and Sonic models due to a defect in the driver's airbag system. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the airbag has a shorting bar which may contact two internal terminals. If that happens during a crash, the supplemental restraint may not deploy, increasing the risk of driver injury. The recall includes a total of 2,949 units.
GM will contact owners and replace the steering wheel airbag coil at no cost. At this point, it's unclear when the recall will begin, though owners may contact the automaker at 1-800-521-7300 for more information. You may also take a closer look at the full NHTSA notice below.

During January's Detroit Auto Show, we managed a longer than expected wandering tag-team interview with C7 Corvette chief engineering exec Tadge Juechter (pictured above), and LT1 engine boss Jordan Lee (pictured below). They are, quite honestly, two of the very nicest bigshot lads to ever walk the engineering corridors of an American manufacturer. Both are enthralled by what they're doing for a day job. So are we.
We've followed the pre-sale anticipation for the Chevrolet C7 Corvette Stingray like an Oreck vacuum yanking every speck of dirt from a well-trampled carpet. Everything is reportable and contains a grain of further knowledge about this dramatically important and cheered-for car, as it continues to be pressured into representing all that is superior about the American dream. The Corvette wears one heavy cloak.
So, most of what was talked about has been expertly reported already right here on Autoblog. But, looking through our notes again, both Jeuchter and Lee added facts to the buzzing mix.
