You are looking at a 1997 Chevrolet Tahoe 4X4 LT 2 Door with 120,968 miles. I have the one owner Tennessee title in the original owners name. Auto check shows one owner with no accidents. The right rear quarter has been painted but there is no other paint work on the Tahoe. The leather seats have some cracks, but they are in great shape to be original and never been covered. The Tahoe runs and drives great with no known issues. I'm sure I don't have the best Tahoe out there, but if you are looking for a real good Tahoe in great shape this is the one for you. Tahoe is for sale locally. Seller reserves the right to end the auction early. This is a NO RESERVE auction. A $1,000.00 deposit is due within 24 hours of auction end and the balance is due within 7 days of auction end. If buyer is paying with anything other than cash, I will not release the Tahoe to the buyer until funds have cleared my bank. Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. Tahoe is Sold As Is. GM recalling 426,000 sedans over faulty transmission shift cable
Fri, 21 Sep 2012General Motors is recalling some 426,240 sedans that may have a faulty transmission shift cable, according to a National Highway Traffic Safety Administration report this morning. The recall concerns a fault within four-speed automatic transmissions equipped on 2007-2010 Saturn Aura models, and 2008-2010 Chevrolet Malibu and Pontiac G6 models.
The report specifies that tabs on the transmission shift cable may fracture and separate. Such a fault could cause a discrepancy between the actual position of the transmission and the apparent position of the shift lever.
GM is currently working to notify owners of the vehicles in question, and dealers will check and replace shift cables free of charge. Scroll down to read the complete NHTSA report.
Race Recap: 2013 Twelve Hours of Sebring, cakewalk up front, grindfest out back [w/spoilers]
Tue, 19 Mar 2013This year's 12 Hours of Sebring wasn't exactly a foregone conclusion because we're still talking about racing, and anything can happen when the speeds are as high as the adrenaline and the desire. But we're still talking about Audi bringing it's two top-spec racers - and its huge budget and its nearly neurotic attention to detail - to a race that it uses as a test bed for The 24 Hours of Le Mans and as a way to open the endurance racing season with a victory.
Besides, 12 hours is a long time, especially at Sebring, and things didn't go all Audi's way. On top of that, although it was a pretty quiet race, behind the Audis things got even grimier, with plenty of battles, plenty of mechanical issues, and the new BMW Z4 GTE and Viper GTS-R being race tested. Oh, and that brand new chromed-out DeltaWing...
