UP FOR BID TODAY!

1 USED 1995 CHEVROLET TAHOE LT

IN GOOD TO GREAT CONDITION WITH A FEW MECHANICAL ISSUES

BUT IN STRONG RUNNING CONDITION!

I purchased this truck a little over a year ago for $5000

I have the original window sticker and this thing is LOADED, stickered at OVER $32,000! In 1995!!!!

The truck at that time came with nice polished American Racing 16" wheels, had an issue (common) of the drivers seat tears and a spot weld broken (have not fixed yet) a couple small rust spots, and a small dent in the drivers rear quarter panel (not fixed). Also at that time the AC did not work but the compressor kicks on and off so it just needs a recharge (also not fixed). See pics

Since them I have done quite a bit of work to it!

New all terrain tires ($750)

Complete tune up (platinum plugs, plug wires, pvc, cap, rotor) along with new washer pumps (both)

I always change the oil with Royal Purple and a quality premium oil filter about every 4-6 months as I drove 5 minutes to work and thats all I drove it

I purchased the 2 key fobs (keyless entry) and programmed them

Coolant flush and thermostat (green coolant plus purple ice)

Transmission service

Rear diff service with Royal Purple gear lube (I had planned on a future front diff service but now I need to sell)

Center diff service

NEW interstate battery, the biggest that would fit

MB Quart 6 1/2" seperates door speakers

A couple new trim pieces included, bumper cover top and a wheel well moulding

A spare set of wheel locks also comes with the truck along with the wheel lock key

I shampooed the carpets and will vacuum them before it sells along with a bath and general wipe down as it is just a bit dusty from sitting

A recent hailstorm has cracked up both outer mirrors and I am including new mirrors, just need installed

The drivers door handle just broke as well and I have the new handle included it also needs installed

It does have a couple hail dents from the storm but nothing worth reporting to insurance, otherwise body is in good condition other than the usual Tahoe spots that tend to rust, see pics

The engine is VERY strong and doesn't burn any oit common to the 350 and the intake gaskets look good, my mechanic said he was impressed with it when he did the above service

All power windows and locks work and the heater is great (just not the AC)! The cassette and cd do not work, idk if they just need cleaned or what.

Like I said this truck may not be show winning quality yet but it runs and drives straight and even gets 14mpg on the highway @ 75!

Not bad considering the sticker rates it at 15mpg on the highway and most Tahoes get 12!

This thing will haul a trailer or a camper all day long! With the supplied flat 4 harness and clas III trailer hitch that came on the truck with the HD Trailering equipment option!

There is a lot to list here I may have missed something! Ask questions!

I hate to sell this truck but a combination of me losing my job and soon moving out of town make the quick sale of this a necessity!

Clean and Clear Kansas title, I will sign over to you after the sale is completed!

I also GUARANTEE feedback for the buyer after payment is made!

Buyer must arrange to pick up or arrange shipping! I am not offering this.

Payment due within 3 days of auction end!

Truck is also for sale locally so this listing may end if that occurs!

Good luck and thanks!

Netflix to feature electric cars from GM and others in programming

Sun, Feb 5 2023

LOS ANGELES — Netflix has unveiled a new star for some of its upcoming programming: electric vehicles from General Motors and other automakers. The streaming service announced an agreement on Thursday to feature vehicles including the Chevrolet Bolt, the electric GMC Hummer pickup and the Cadillac Lyriq in TV series and films "where relevant." The companies will highlight the partnership in a commercial featuring Will Ferrell that will air during the Feb. 12 Super Bowl. Netflix and GM called the agreement "part of a commitment to a more sustainable future." Financial terms were not disclosed. Netflix said it will help creators "better understand how EVs can complement and enhance their stories." Shows that will feature GM's electric vehicles include "Love is Blind," "Queer Eye" and "Unstable." Netflix productions also will include electric vehicles made by other automakers, the company said.   Marketing/Advertising TV/Movies Chevrolet GM GMC Hummer

New Chevrolet Silverado to be revealed on Facebook on Thursday

Tue, 11 Dec 2012

There's not much to see here, but if you're one of those waiting for the reveal of the 2014 Chevrolet Silverado 1500, above is the teaser image that Chevrolet posted on its Facebook page. We've seen the truck in form-fitting camo before, and even less can be made out here beyond those seriously punchy Silverado-esque fenders and the knowledge that the projector-beam headlamps teased previously do indeed work. We'll have to wait until Thursday for a full perusal of the "bold exterior design" and "careful attention given to every detail" we've been promised.
Gathering intel and rumors, magnesium and aluminum contribute to the Silverado's weight loss plan, the purported "High Country" top-tier trim will contribute to luxury pickup truck competition and profit margins and the next-generation small-block V8 will contribute to improved fuel economy. On the engine note, there have been rumors of available V6 engines, and when Facebook user John Jones asked "Where's your answer to that EcoBoost Chevy?", the Bowtie replied "stay tuned on the 13th. We think you'll be pleased...".
Along with the "Raise the Bar" tag, Chevrolet says of the Silverado, "You asked, we delivered." You can watch the reveal live on Chevrolet's Facebook page at 9:30 am EST, this Thursday, December 13. The GMC Sierra 1500 will also be there, and we'll see both in person at the Detroit Auto Show in January.

A conversation with GM's Mark Reuss on MPG, aluminum and Corvettes

Wed, Feb 19 2014

There was plenty to talk about when General Motors hosted its annual mid-December holiday media reception a few months ago. GM had just decided to pull its global Chevrolet brand out of major European markets, where Chevys have competed directly with GM Europe Opel and Vauxhall vehicles, and the US government had sold its last remaining shares of GM stock. But most important was the company's just-reshuffled leadership. Post-bankruptcy CEO Dan Akerson had announced that he would step aside and that 52-year-old Mary Barra would replace him on January 15. Not only would she be the first woman to lead a major automaker, she would also be GM's first engineer CEO since Bob Stempel in the early 1990s. "I look at 2013 and 2014, as the retooling of General Motors" - Mark Reuss Replacing her as executive VP for global product development (and purchasing and supply chain) would be 49-year-old Mark Reuss, who had served a stellar four years as North American president, and elevated to corporate president (from executive VP and CFO) would be 42-year-old Dan Amman. All three are relatively young auto enthusiasts who are liked and respected inside and outside the company, and their collective talents and experience are highly complementary. I've interviewed Barra and found her smart, personable and knowledgeable, though she carefully walks the corporate line in speaking and answering questions. I met and chatted with Ammann for the first time at that holiday reception, and he made a good first impression. But I've known Reuss for some time as a genuinely good guy and a highly capable and inspiring leader, and I believe he is exactly the right person for the global product responsibility once famously held by the outspoken, oft-controversial Bob Lutz. So I jumped at an opportunity to join a group interview of Reuss (with mostly business reporters) at the Detroit Auto Show in January. It was an interesting session of mostly good questions, which he answered with refreshing candor and humor. "I look at 2013 and 2014, as the retooling of General Motors," Reuss said. "We've taken down almost every plant in North America, converted and turned it this last year, and to do that with award-winning vehicles and pretty flawless launches is key. We have to keep the train rolling on great product, because the rest won't happen without the best product, period." A reporter asked whether GM was pushing big trucks, SUVs and Corvettes again because gas is cheap. "No," Reuss said.
