I bought this truck new from Dennis Hanks in Ozark, MO in June of 2006. I used it for my business to mostly tow trailers and haul boats. In April of 2012, the engine lost power and started belching black smoke. I let it sit for a few months until I hauled it to my friend's engine shop in Marion, Iowa last September for him to look at it. He did not tear into the motor, but said I have 1 bad cylinder. I was planning on having him rebuild the motor, but I have had some financial problems lately and don't have the $10,000-$11,000 for a complete engine rebuild. Therefore, I have decided to just sell it as is.

This is not your typical work truck. While the other chevy duramax trucks I have bought for my business over the years were bare bones work truck models, I bought this one with the intention to also use it for my personal truck. So it is a Loaded LT model.

Pweter or Silver Birch Metalic(can't remember what they call it)
4 Door Crew Cab
4 Wheel Drive
Allison Auto Transmission
Leather
All Seats are Heated!
Driver & Passenger Power adjust/lumbar seats
Boise Stereo System
Sunroof
Rear DVD System
Chrome Tube Style step bumpers
Bedliner
Window Vents

Things that I have done to the truck.
25,000lb Curt 5th Wheel Hitch in Jan 2012
All new HD Shocks in Jan 2012
Banks Chip(so I could Monitor Fuel Rail Pressure, not run it harder)
New HD Water Pump March 2012
New Power Steering Pump March 2012
Fuel lift Pump in March 2012(help with fuel pressure buy lifting fuel from the tank to the fuel rail)
Transmission shift sensor March 2012
Fuel Pump in June 2011
2 new injectors June 2011
Turbo Sensor June 2011
Everything else has pretty much been typical maintenance. I have every receipt for everything done to the truck. The truck is dirty from sitting for over a year now. Other than the engine needing to be rebuilt, the body is in good condition. No accidents or body work. The only thing missing is the tailgate. I had a mishap with a gooseneck trailer that I thought was hooked up.

The truck has spent its life here in Springfield, MO, but has been sitting in Marion, Iowa at my friends engine shop. That is where it can be seen now. I would love to keep the truck, but don't have the money to fix the engine and hate to see it just rot in yard. To my best recall it has about 235,000 miles on it.

Email me if you are interested in the truck. I will just leave the truck where it is, if you want to see it. Sorry I could not find any more pictures.  The truck will run to load it on to a trailer if you want to take the truck somewhere else to get fixed or I am sure my friend will do a good job of rebuilding the engine for you.

All of the Bond cars of 'No Time To Die' (caution for spoilers)

Thu, Sep 30 2021

Note: The following overview of the cars in No Time To Die contains spoilers. Read at your own risk, or come back after seeing the film to make sure you caught everything.   No Time To Die picks up right around where Spectre leaves us. James Bond (Daniel Craig) and Madeleine Swann (Lea Seydoux) are driving along in Bond’s restored and iconic DB5 in Matera, Italy. Things donÂ’t stay all that cheery for long in picturesque Matera, though. As is tradition in Bond films, the first car chase hits us with an explosion of action in what's a super-long opening scene. Fourth-gen Maserati Quattroporte: The baddies in the beginning are driving a Maserati and chasing after Bond in the DB5. Specifically, theyÂ’re in a fourth-gen Quattroporte, which feels right for a chase scene in Italy. Its squared-off looks are mean enough, and its Italian growl is a good background soundtrack to the DB5Â’s inline-six. In addition to the Quattroporte, the chase scene in Matera is home to a couple of the best stunts of the entire movie, including the arch jump done with a Triumph motorcycle seen in trailers — Matera is extremely hilly. Eventually, Bond and Swann find themselves in the DB5 again together, which is where the famous gatling gun scene from the trailer commences, but not before the bulletproof windows and body of the DB5 are thoroughly tested. RIP to the first-gen Range Rover Classics and Jaguar XFs that joined the Maserati in pursuit of Bond (here's a list of other Bond cars over the years). As the DB5 escape scene concludes, we catch a glimpse of what appears to be a Ferrari from the 1970s. However, the view was far enough away that weÂ’ll need a second look to be sure of the exact model. Land Rover Series III: Next time we see Bond, heÂ’s fishing in Jamaica and driving around a blue Land Rover Series III. ItÂ’s yet another of the many Land Rover products featured throughout the film, and unlike most of BondÂ’s Aston Martins, this one doesnÂ’t seem to have any unique features. The other intriguing vehicle out of Jamaica? An old Chevrolet Bel-Air expertly and effectively piloted by Bond newcomer, Ana de Armas. Next up, we get a few shots of the new and still-not-for-sale Aston Martin Valhalla mid-engine supercar (also seen in trailers). BondÂ’s old boss M is in the scene which appears to have been shot in some secret wind tunnel of sorts. Much to our dismay, nobody ends up driving the Valhalla in the film. Could it be a teaser for what the next 007Â’s car is?

LG Chem's troubled Chevy Volt battery plant hiring once again

Thu, Sep 25 2014

The Michigan battery plant known for paying its workers to do nothing has turned things around and is now hiring more workers, specifically to do something. South Korea-based LG Chem, which runs the factory to supply the Chevrolet Volt extended-range plug-in vehicle with its lithium-ion batteries, held a job fair recently to bring on 40 new employees in order to meet higher battery demand, according to WZZM, the ABC affiliate for Grand Rapids, MI. The LG Chem factory is in Holland, MI, about 30 miles west of Grand Rapids, and it made its first batteries last year. Prior to that, though, the factory gained notoriety after a US Department of Energy (DOE) probe found that workers there were getting paid to do, well, nothing. That's because demand for the battery packs was so low that it cost less for the plant to sit idle. The DOE was conducting the probe because of its financial grant to LG Chem. But that was then and today is today. LG Chem is looking to ramp up production in advance of the second-generation Volt. That 2016 model-year version is said to have a longer all-electric range and better performance and will ride on a new chassis, but few official details have surfaced. We will know more when we get our first look at the car at the Detroit Auto Show in January.
