1984 Chevrolet Dually. Originally had a 6.2 Detroit Diesel. At some point it was converted to a 454 V8. It was done correctly. Factory mounts etc. Has a new TH400 Transmission, less than 5k miles. Both Saddle tanks are new along with the fuel pump, Pitman Arm, all four shocks and master cylinder along with the hydro assist unit. Steering column has been rebuilt as well. New Edelbrock carb. The tires have about 90% tread left. Motor has been resealed for oil leaks. Paint and body are decent for it's age. Windshield has been replaced. There are tears in the fiberglass fenders along with some paint flaking off here and there. The interior needs a headliner and with the exception of a tear in the drivers side front, the it's in nice shape. The heater core is bad and the lines have been plugged off. The A/C is missing the compressor and the two high and low pressure lines. The rest is intact. It has chrome wheel covers and aluminum diamond plate bed caps and tail gate cover. Has a receiver hitch and a 5th wheel hookup along with all the electrical connections. I bought it to haul cars and no longer need the truck. It runs and drives good. Tags and inspection are up to date. Would make a great work truck as it sits or a little tlc and repair the HVAC and it would be a very nice truck. Getting harder to find these that have not been hacked up or lowered. 817-564-6782

The Poncho is dead. Long live the Poncho. Like certain other reoccurring personal maladies, the aftermarket community simply can't let the Trans Am go without another flare up. The guys at Trans Am Depot have worked up a quick commercial for their newest creation: The 2013 Trans Am Hurst Edition, and it watches pretty much like you'd expect it to. The footage is comprised of just about every TA male fantasy you can conceive of, from Daisy Dukes and white tank tops to tramp stamps, bikinis and ice cream cones. There simply aren't words for what you'll see below.
Of course, we like our T-Tops as much as the next guy. If you like what you see in the videos, you can pick up your very own TA by heading over to the Trans Am Depot site. The guys even have Chevrolet Camaro-based versions of the Pontiac GTO if the '77 TA treatment is too much for your tastes. Enjoy, but don't say we didn't warn you.
Survey says $25k barrier is a problem for EVs

The majority of consumers are more or less priced out of the market.
Electric cars are gaining popularity with the general public, but are they still too expensive? According to a survey 1,084 consumers by Navigant Research, a consulting firm located in Boulder, CO, 71 percent want their next car to cost under $25,000, while 41 percent won't go a cent above $20K. Looks like people are even thriftier than we'd originally thought.
2014 Chevrolet C7 Corvette wastes no time zooming into Jay Leno's Garage

Although this time it isn't exactly in Jay Leno's Garage, Leno instead playing an away game at Brown's Classic Auto in Scottsdale, Arizona. Nor does Leno drive the car, instead taking an 11-minute walkaround of the new American sports car with General Motors design head Ed Welburn, the same man who recently brought by a string of classic Corvettes to the talk show host's California compound.
It is, admittedly, a love-fest for the American sports car now featuring 450 horsepower and 450 pound-feet of torque, but one that also features admissions about previous Corvette seats like "they were kinda rough," and the explanation that labeling the coupe "Stingray" means not having to call it "the base Corvette." On top of that, Welburn also explains the proper application of the term "dashboard." You can watch it all in the video below.
