Thank you for looking....
This nice clean 2002 Chevy is ready for work !
My Brother-In-Law has a new 1 on his mind
so this truck needs a new home.
This is a 2 owner truck that he purchased from his employer.
It has been used around his work complex to push un-salted snow
in the parking lot for employee parking. Also his employer used it many times as a daily driver.
It has been serviced every 3,000 miles.
Within the last year it has been
completely serviced, plugs, serp belt, thermostat etc.
PLUS 4 new All-Season LT 10 ply rated tires...they have about 3200 miles on them

The Western Plow works awesome and has been stored inside when not in use.
He installed new lights and joy stick plug-in connectors
Truck has some rust on the lower exterior rockers; see pictures
You can purchase a new rocker pair for around $100 (max) online including shipping.
The local body shop says around $250 to $300 to install & $100 for paint.....1 day job....
or just do it yourself
I drove the truck home to detail it and changed my mind....
It is so original and nice. I wanted everybody to see how clean it is for a 14 year old truck.
I will completely detail it, if the "BuyItNow" is used PLUS
throw in a Mobil 1 oil change & a new pair of NICE floor mats before it leaves....
We have a clean & clear Indiana title in hand

The 6.0 runs perfect and the 4L80E transmission works perfect.
The A/C blows ice cold and the heater works as it should.
The radio is the factory optional w/CD, sounds good
Tilt steering & cruise control
Factory clearance lights & Factory HD hitch w/plug
Brakes are good with no pulling or noise.
If it were mine I would install fresh brakes lines for peace of mind

I took the pictures in full HD so if your computer
will allow it you should be able to see good clear large pictures.
I know these camper shells' new are $1600+...this 1 is real nice !  DEEP Tinted glass & all the sliders ! !
LOOK AT THE PICTURES ! WOW !
I have seen these 6.0 V8s & HD transmissions with over 400,000 miles and still going strong !
LS based motors have excellent reputations ! Far better than FORD Triton V8 stuff

The Bad; I can hear the left (driver's side) exhaust WHEN COLD, the $10 "doughnut"
gasket should be changed, I would change the exhaust gaskets on both sides. Extremely easy job.
Look at my rating, we have been here since 1999

Best and Worst GM Cars

Thu, Apr 7 2022

Oh yes, because we just love receiving angry letters from devoted Pontiac Grand Am enthusiasts, we have decided to go there. Based on a heated group Slack conversation, the topic came up about the best and worst GM cars. First of all time, and then those currently on sale, and then just mostly a rambling discussion of Oldsmobiles our parents and grandparents owned (or engineered). Eventually, three of us made the video above. Like it? Maybe we can make more. Many awesome GM cars are definitely going unmentioned here, so please let us know your bests and worsts in the comments below. Mostly, it's important to note that this post largely exists as a vehicle for delivering the above video that dives far deeper into GM's greatest hits and biggest flops, specifically those from the 1980s and 1990s. What you'll find below is a collection of our editors identifying a best current and best-of-all-time choice, plus a worst current and worst-of-all-time choice. Comprehensive it is not, but again, comments. -Senior Editor James Riswick Best Current GM Vehicle Chevrolet Corvette We were flying by the seats of our pants a bit in this first outing and my notes were similarly extemporaneous. When it came time to tie it all together on camera, I failed spectacularly. Thank the maker for text, because this gives me the opportunity to perhaps slightly better explain my convoluted reasoning. I chose the C8 Corvette because it's simply overwhelmingly good, and it's merely the baseline from which this generation of Corvette will be expanded.  While the Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing (more on that in a minute) is an amazing snapshot of GM's current performance standing and its little sibling so enraptured me that I went out and bought one, their existence is fleeting. Corvette will live on; forced-induction Cadillac sport sedans, not so much. So while all three are amazing machines when viewed in a vacuum, the Corvette stands above them as both a reflection of GM's current performance credentials and a signpost of what is to come. So, given the choice between the C8 and the 5V-Blackwing right now, I'd choose the C8. In 10 years, when the Blackwing is no longer in production and Corvette is in its 9th generation? Well, that might be a different story. Now, just pretend I said something even remotely that coherent when we get to the part of the video where I try to make an argument for the 5-V Blackwing as best GM car I've ever driven. Or just laugh at me while I ramble incoherently.

Watch this time-lapse build of the Chevy SS for NASCAR

Fri, 08 Feb 2013

There's only about a week left until we get our first look at the production version of the 2014 Chevrolet SS sedan, but Chevrolet NASCAR teams have been looking at the race version of the car all winter. Autoweek has posted a really neat time-lapse video showing just a portion of what it takes to build one of NASCAR's new Gen6 stock cars.
Though the video is quite brief, it does show almost the entire build process starting with just the car's nose, and it gives us a good look at how integral the template is to the final product. As a bonus, Hendrick Motorsports also provided some videos showing two of its teams performing pit stop tests over the winter. The second video shows some of the more detailed aspects of the racecar's rear end, including the stock-looking trunk cutout and a newly mandated rear bumper extension that will be used on super speedways like Daytona and Talladega.
To see what Team Chevy has been up to all off-season, check out all three videos posted after the jump.

Watch how Corvette Racing's new collision-avoidance radar system works

Fri, 22 Mar 2013

When it comes to technology used in racecars, we generally expect it to trickle down to production cars, not the other way around. Well, Pratt & Miller has developed a new rear-facing radar that operates in a similar fashion to what we're used to in modern blind spot detection systems, only it is also capable of tracking cars as they approach and relaying vital information to the driver via a large display screen.
The innovative radar system debuted at last weekend's 12 Hours of Sebring for Corvette Racing, and this system makes perfect sense for endurance races like this since the cars sometimes have to drive through the night and in poor weather conditions.
The radar can detect cars even with poor visibility, and uses easy-to-distinguish symbols for the driver to identify.
