Hello here is a hard to find

1987 chevy silverado 3/4 ton 4x4 v20
last year for this body style first year for the fuel injection.

This is a 100% rust free classic California survivor. The engine starts right up and sounds very healthy. The acceleration is positive and the car runs extremely well. The transmission shifts right on time through all the gears. There is no smoking, overheating or strange noises. All mechanical, electrical and climate control systems are in good working order.

Cosmetically the truck looks very nice. The paint finish is original and has a nice patina. There are some chips, nicks, dings and scratches. It appears that the previous owner did use one of those small cans with the brush on the end touch up paint in some of the spots. The body, chassis and frame are 100% rust free. All numbers match, stickers in glove box and door jambs are still present.

The interior of the truck is also all original and shows signs of wear on the drivers side seat,
headliner is sagging, dashpad is cracked all the normal signs of these trucks that have had nothing replaced.

The odometer reads 99,061 now. The title also reads actual miles at time of purchase 96,394.
I believe this to be correct due to the condition but have not verified the miles.

As you can tell in the pics the cargo light is missing. The truck most of its life had a camper shell on the back and the light had been removed due to that fact. I have ordered a new one but at time of posting have not received it.

This truck has NOT been restored it is all original. My intentions were to restore it and lift it 8 inches
The truck needs:
a power steering pump, it leaks out the seal.
it has a small drip out of the seal on the output shaft on transfer case.
both easy fixes.
Since Dec i have changed the fluids, replaced the front shocks,  put a new clutch fan on, replaced spark plugs, spark plug wires, cap & button
AT some point in its time the radiator had been changed. It has a tag from a radiator shop located in California thats the only way i knew.

I purchased this truck in Dec of 2012 and had it shipped from California to Ohio where it is located now.
Have documentation of this.  Since the move it has been garage kept till this spring. It has not seen any salt.

Buyer is 100 % responsible for picking up the truck or having it shipped.
I can provide the number of the company i used which was somewhat local. It only cost me 650 dollars to have it shipped from California to southern ohio.

The truck is also available for sale locally and is subject to removal from the auction at any time should it be sold. Thanks for looking!
If you have any questions please dont hesitate to ask. Can send additional pics if needed.
Five one three 553 1870.

Chevrolet Bolt EV Concept foreshadows an affordable, 200-mile EV future [w/videos]

Mon, Jan 12 2015

Confirming numerous reports and rumors, Chevrolet introduced the Bolt EV Concept, "a vision" of a 200-mile EV with an entry price of around $30,000. Those lofty promises ride atop a funky crossover that made its global debut at the 2015 Detroit Auto Show. The orange five door features a spacious greenhouse, complemented by a glass roof and thin D-pillar. A narrow grille and slim LED headlights crown a high fascia that leaves little ahead of its front axle. It's a similar story in back, as General Motors' design boss Ed Welburn sought to limit overhangs and maintain the Bolt's small footprint. "Form and function have never meshed so well together," Welburn said. "No compromises were made when it came to aesthetics and the elements that contribute to the Bolt EV concept's range, resulting in a unique proportion that's sleek, efficient and obviously a Chevrolet." The cabin is not unlike current Chevrolet compacts, with the MyLink touchscreen and a detached instrument cluster dominating the sparse dash. Unlike cars like the Sonic, which features a similar design for its instrument cluster, A Volt-like display is found over the steering column. "The Bolt EV concept is a game-changing electric vehicle designed for attainability, not exclusivity," CEO Mary Barra said. "Chevrolet believes electrification is a pillar of future transportation and needs to be affordable for a wider segment of customers." Take a look at both the official gallery of Bolt images, as well as our live shots. And then scroll on down for more comments from GM brass, in the official press release. Chevrolet Bolt EV Concept Signals Brand's EV Strategy Affordable, long-range concept builds on brand's electrification leadership 2015-01-12 DETROIT – Chevrolet today made a significant statement on its commitment to electrification with the introduction of the Bolt EV concept – a vision for an affordable, long-range all-electric vehicle designed to offer more than 200 miles of range starting around $30,000. "The Bolt EV concept is a game-changing electric vehicle designed for attainability, not exclusivity," said General Motors CEO Mary Barra. "Chevrolet believes electrification is a pillar of future transportation and needs to be affordable for a wider segment of customers." Leveraging the electrification prowess established by Volt and Spark EV, the Bolt EV concept is designed to offer long-range performance in all 50 states and many global markets.

First privately owned Corvette Stingray blitzes 1/4 mile in 12.23 at 114.88 mph

Tue, 01 Oct 2013

Chevrolet's latest road rocket, the Corvette Stingray, is a very quick car. If one needs further proof of that, we recommend they take a look at this video from Hennessey of what is claimed to be the first privately owned C7 Corvette to make a pass down the quarter mile. Not just any quarter mile, mind, this black C7 blitzed its way down the tuner's primary testing dragstrip. The Chevrolet ran the quarter in just 12.23 seconds at 114.88 miles per hour. That is a very quick time for a stock car.
Equipped with the Z51 package and a six-speed automatic transmission, not only does the C7 run a solid time, but it does so with little to no drama. That won't last though, as Hennessey will likely return it to its owner with far more power - we just hope they show a drag run of the completed product. Take a look below to watch the C7's 12.23-second run on video.

First 2015 Chevy Corvette Z06 engine blows up at just 891 miles

Thu, Jan 1 2015

You've waited and watched and waited some more for the arrival of your 650-horsepower, $78,000 Chevrolet Corvette Z06. Finally, that joyous day arrives and you eagerly, but gingerly, begin to break-in the 6.2-liter supercharged V8 monster under your hood. Then 900-odd miles after delivery, your excitement grinds, quite literally, to a halt. That's what the owner of one 2015 Z06 claimed happened to him when a simple break-in drive resulted in a lunched engine. The owner, known as Lawdogg149 on Corvette Forum, says he was out breaking-in his car ahead of a January track event when it happened. "While making a pull from 35 miles per hour, I accelerated and shifted short of redline, and boom - the car began knocking. I pulled over and popped the hood. I could hear a loud knock coming from the No. 6 cylinder area along with a serious, grinding, metal-on-metal sound coming from the supercharger area," Lawdogg wrote. A subsequent trip to the dealer confirmed his concerns, with the service facility telling Lawdogg that the No. 6 valvetrain had failed. The dealer couldn't research the issue further, though, as General Motors requested the engine be returned for a more thorough evaluation. The good news for the Z06's unlucky owner, at least, is that GM will be covering the engine replacement under warranty, an expense that Corvette Forum estimates is a nearly $24,000 procedure. At this point, the two leading theories behind the engine's detonation involve a manufacturing defect – which could be why GM is so keen to tear the blown powerplant down – or a mistake on the part of Lawdogg. As Motor Authority points out, such an error could be something as simple as the Z06's owner accidentally shifting to first rather than third during his 35-mph pull. If, however, there's a deeper manufacturing problem with the Z06's engine, this might not be the only case we end up hearing about.
