2013 Chevrolet 2500HD LTZ w/ 6.6L LML Duramax Turbo Diesel. This truck has been babied since the day it was purchased. You will be hard pressed to find another '13 this clean. The color of the truck is Graystone Metallic and is probably one of the very best colors they have come out with. This truck turns heads almost everywhere I go, and I hear compliments all the time. Everything has been cared for and maintained as it should. Oil changed every 3,000 miles, washed and polished very frequently, all aftermarket parts were installed with professional hands. There is probably a good $7-8K worth of aftermarket parts currently sitting on the truck. All of the best parts were used! Pictures will not provide the justice it deserves, it is a MUST SEE!

Upgrades are as follows:
-H&S Mini Maxx Race Tuner w/ H&S pillar mount
-Full 5" Flo-Pro Stainless Steel Downpipe-back exhaust
-Full plastic colormatching to Graystone Metallic ($600 value alone)
-T-Rex Billet Grille
-All Memphis Audio components (10" sub, 1000 watt amp, tweeters, etc.)
-"Q-Bomb" sub box ported enclosure
-Professionally "cleared" headlights from Phil @ fastheadlights.com
-Morimoto 6000K HIDs (Top of the line HIDs - very bright!)
-Miscellaneous LEDs from Longshot Lighting
-Undercover Flex folding tounneau cover
-BedRug
-(2) Undercover Swingcases
-20% tint on front 2 windows with 5% brow on windshield
-AMI Billet Antenna
-33x12.50R20 Toyo Open Country MT tires (80% tread life)
-7" Flo-Pro Stainless Exhaust Tip

Please note that I have listed this truck with an existing warranty, which is true! However, because I am running the H&S tuner, the powertrain warranty is technically void. But the rest of the truck will be under warranty as normal. Please message me with any questions or concerns and I will gladly explain more in depth.

This truck comes loaded with a lot of options from the factory. Seats are in fantastic shape with little to no sign of wear at all. 16,000 miles is the current mileage on the truck, however, it is my daily so the mileage will increase slightly. For further information, please text me @ 256-684-9698. I can answer any and all questions you might have. $51,000 obo. I do not have to sell this truck so serious inquiries only! I think this truck is worth every bit of $50k and the new owner will too! Driving this thing has been an absolute dream and any owner will love it! Understand that I have the right to end the auction at any time as this truck is for sale locally as well! Happy Bidding and Good Luck!!

 Thanks,

Austin

Recharge Wrap-up: Ford HQ gets giant solar array, Chevy City Express gets 24 MPG city

Sat, Aug 16 2014

Ford will be building Michigan's largest solar array at its Dearborn headquarters. With funding from DTE Energy, the solar carport will provide covered parking, as well 30 charging stations for electric vehicles. The array is expected to generate 1.13 million kWh per year for Ford's operations, and offset 794 metric tons of carbon emissions. Read more in the press release below. Chevrolet announced the fuel economy for the 2015 City Express, at 25 mpg combined. The cargo van is rated at 24 mpg in the city, and 26 mpg on the highway. Chevy credits the van's inline four-cylinder engine and continuously variable transmission for its impressive city mileage. For its customers - which are mainly businesses - "The fuel economy of the City Express will help stretch their dollar at the pump and give them the flexibility to invest the savings back into their business," says Chevrolet's Ed Peper. The City Express starts at $22,950. Read more in the press release below. Engineers at the University of Wisconsin have developed an efficient engine that runs on a diesel-gas blend. The engine, which uses a computer to control the blend proportions, is about 15 percent more efficient than the any diesel engine according to mechanical engineering professor Rolf Reitz. The team has put the experimental reactivity controlled compression ignition (RCCI) engine in a demonstration car - a 2009 Saturn. "This vehicle can do 50 miles per gallon," says Reitz, who believes the system could be improved further. Read more at Wisconsin Public Radio. The Southeast Alternative Fuel Conference and Expo will take place in October in Raleigh, North Carolina. Held at the NC Clean Energy Technology Center from October 22-24, the event will feature a variety of exhibitors, speakers and, most importantly, alternatively powered vehicles. "The three day conference will be a one-stop shop for fleet and transportation related decision makers to learn about return on investment, efficiency and alternative transportation fuels such as biodiesel, electricity, ethanol, propane and natural gas," says Anne Tazewell of the NC Clean Energy Technology Center. If you can't make it to Raleigh for the Expo, you can still enter to win a free two-year lease of a Nissan Leaf at the Center's website. Learn more about the event in the press release, below.

More Corvette Stingray Factoids: Vanishing panel gaps and 26-mpg LT1

Thu, 28 Feb 2013

During January's Detroit Auto Show, we managed a longer than expected wandering tag-team interview with C7 Corvette chief engineering exec Tadge Juechter (pictured above), and LT1 engine boss Jordan Lee (pictured below). They are, quite honestly, two of the very nicest bigshot lads to ever walk the engineering corridors of an American manufacturer. Both are enthralled by what they're doing for a day job. So are we.
We've followed the pre-sale anticipation for the Chevrolet C7 Corvette Stingray like an Oreck vacuum yanking every speck of dirt from a well-trampled carpet. Everything is reportable and contains a grain of further knowledge about this dramatically important and cheered-for car, as it continues to be pressured into representing all that is superior about the American dream. The Corvette wears one heavy cloak.
So, most of what was talked about has been expertly reported already right here on Autoblog. But, looking through our notes again, both Jeuchter and Lee added facts to the buzzing mix.

This is your 2014 Chevrolet SS

Sat, 16 Feb 2013

Think you've waited long enough for this? If so, then you'll want to savor the high-res photos we've so far been given of the 2014 Chevrolet SS, the first rear-wheel-drive performance sedan from The Bowtie in 17 years.
We all know its our version of the brand new VF-model Holden Commodore, but what's under the hood that earns the appellation "performance?" A 6.2-liter LS3 V8 engine producing 415 horsepower and 415 pound-feet of torque. That's 35 hp and lb-ft less than the same engine is expected to produce in the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette. Chevrolet says the sedan will get from 0-to-60 miles per hour "in about five seconds."
Shifting comes courtesy of a six-speed automatic with paddles on the steering wheel, while stopping arrive via four-piston Brembo calipers up front, a single sliding piston in back. The forged aluminum wheels are 19-inchers all around, each set supporting right around 50 percent of the sedan's weight, and the aluminum hood and trunk are meant to keep the center of gravity low.
