This truck will need a new driver side fender and chances are this front bumper cannot be repaired to "as new". The damage was due to the lower control arm ball joint failing. No drama there. The drama occurred when the truck was being loaded onto a flat bed for the 2.5 mile ride home. I have photos to support this. This truck is accident free and I am the original owner."

2003 Silverado CC short, Duramax- Allison 4x4.

NOTE: As stated, this truck needs a new driver side fender, and the ARB bumper will more than likely need replacement. You can show the photos to a resource of your choosing and retain their opinion. The damage occurred when the truck was being loaded onto a flat bed tow truck, it was in no way due to any collision and I have supporting photos of the event. The lower D/S ball joint locked and required a tow for obvious safety reasons.

The flame job is hand painted, as is the hood nose art.

That being written, the truck is dent free, and by this I mean dent free period, no exaggeration, dent free. The interior is perfect. No cracks, no pits, burns, scars, scrapes, etc. Never smoked in, ever.

This truck has several modifications, the transmission Diesel Addiction stage 4, ML Precision triple disc converter,  Gold series 1310 U joints, Hawk pads, rotors, Pro Fab manifolds, up pipes, turbo, intake horn, SBI intake, 4" down pipe, outer ware filter,  Schaeffer's trans, T-case, and F&R diff fluids, all were installed at 204K miles. I have all paperwork to support this.

SS diesel efi live DSP 5 tuning, 4" exhaust (AFE), custom cluster by US speedo, Autometer boost and pyro, RCD 6" lift, Kennedy pitman arm and idler braces, PPE tie rod braces, billet filter lock and deep pan, billet pump rub eliminator kit, Mike L. transmission cooler, new injectors replaced @ GM dealer, new GM water pump, and alternator. Fresh oil change, fuel filter, and coolant with RP additive. Mag-tec diff cover, firestone air bags, Helo 871 20 x 9 chrome wheels with 295 NittoTrail grapplers, including a never used matching spare. Soft top canopy ( not pictured), New Tire gate spare tire carrier (pre runner model) also not pictured.

Every front suspension steering component was replaced at 195K miles: Pitman, Idler, tie rods, rod end joints, upper ball joint, lower ball joint, control arm bushings U&L. Because the D/S lower failed I have replaced upper and lower ball joints, steering tie rod and end, axle and upper UC arm (it made sense being the assembly was priced as a unit).

This has been a good truck for me, but it is not rated to tow the 5th wheel I am acquiring. I have already purchased a replacement.

ANY QUESTIONS, ask, I will answer them all. Please read the ad as well.

Autoblog's Editors' Picks: Our complete list of the best new vehicles

Mon, May 13 2024

It's not easy to earn an “EditorsÂ’ Picks” at Autoblog as part of the rating and review process that every new vehicle goes through. Our editors have been at it a long time, which means weÂ’ve driven and reviewed virtually every new car you can go buy on the dealer lot. There are disagreements, of course, and all vehicles have their strengths and weaknesses, but this list features what we think are the best new vehicles chosen by Autoblog editors. We started this formal review process back in 2018, so there's quite of few of them now. So what does it mean to be an EditorsÂ’ Pick? In short, it means itÂ’s a car that we can highly recommend purchasing. There may be one, multiple, or even zero vehicles in any given segment that we give the green light to. What really matters is that itÂ’s a vehicle that weÂ’d tell a friend or family member to go buy if theyÂ’re considering it, because itÂ’s a very good car. The best way to use this list is is with the navigation links below. Click on a segment, and you'll quickly arrive at the top rated pickup truck or SUV, for example. Use the back button to return to these links and search in another segment, like sedans. If youÂ’ve been keeping up with our monthly series of the latest vehicles to earn EditorsÂ’ Pick status, youÂ’re likely going to be familiar with this list already. If not, welcome to the complete list that weÂ’ll be keeping updated as vehicles enter (and others perhaps exit) the good graces of our editorial team. We rate a new car — giving it a numerical score out of 10 — every time thereÂ’s a significant refresh or if it happens to be an all-new model. Any given vehicle may be impressive on a first drive, but we wait until itÂ’s in the hands of our editors to put it through the same type of testing as every other vehicle that rolls through our test fleet before giving it the EditorsÂ’ Pick badge. This ensures consistency and allows more voices to be heard on each individual model. And just so you donÂ’t think weÂ’ve skipped trims or variants of a model, we hand out the EditorsÂ’ Pick based on the overarching model to keep things consistent. So, when you read that the 3 Series is an EditorsÂ’ Pick, yes, that includes the 330i to the M3 and all the variants in between. If thereÂ’s a particular version of that car we vehemently disagree with, we make sure to call that out.

2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Convertible is a Swiss hit

Mon, 04 Mar 2013

We've just received an early peek at the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Convertible here at the Geneva Motor Show. General Motors was kind enough to let us attend the final dress-rehearsal for its press conference scheduled for tomorrow's opening media day, and we've come away with a good look at the droptop C7 in person.
In the metal, the new Corvette Convertible seems somehow less avant-garde than the Coupe, even in Z51 Performance Package guise. That's not necessarily a bad thing - more of an observation. That initial impression may be because the C7's new greenhouse is one of its most prominent departures from Corvettes past. While we didn't get to see the top erected, there's no rear side window in the stock images that Chevy has already released, suggesting the C7 convertible's profile will look a lot like its C6 predecessor. And with the new power tonneau cover in place, there are also no rear ducts that come as part of the Z51 package (they've been moved under the car).
As with its predecessor, the tonneau is a handsome double-bubble piece, and the body-color "waterfall" element into the cabin between the seats has made it to the new model as well. Thus, the overall look with the top down should be a bit more familiar to prior-gen C6 owners - if you're one of those put off by the C7's new shape, you'll probably appreciate the convertible bodystyle more than the coupe.

Callaway debuts its new C7 Stingray at National Corvette Museum

Fri, 02 May 2014

Callaway showed off its first tuned version of the 2014 Corvette Stingray at the National Corvette Museum last week, giving the rampant enthusiasts of America's sports car a look at the roughly 620-horsepower, supercharged rocket.
Unlike the Corvette SC610 we showed you back in January, this Stingray packs a fair bit more oomph. Horsepower is only up ten ponies, but torque has jumped from 556 pound-feet to "at least" 600 pound-feet. Neither horsepower nor torque is official quite yet, although Callaway is expecting to know just what its creation can do once testing and validation is completed later this month.
The 6.2-liter, supercharged V8 now boasts a new, three-element intercooler, which Callaway claims only allowed the inlet air temperature to increase by ten degrees Fahrenheit during dyno runs. Previous designs saw a 35-degree-Fahrenheit jump. The exhaust system has also been fettled with, and now is even less restrictive.
