I bought this truck new in April 2005. I have used it as a work truck in the heating and cooling field. Never overloaded but well used. There are a few things that will need to be addressed. The truck has dings, dents and scratches. I will try and show them when I take the pictures. The good things about the truck include the fact that I have been the only driver and have kept up the required maintenance to this point. I have not been so careful when it comes to the appearance. The truck runs and drives great. The four wheel drive works fine. As with most four wheel drive trucks, the front tires tend to be a little jerky when the steering wheel is turned sharply and in four wheel drive mode. I have replaced both batteries recently with good batteries from Wal Mart. They have the Wal Mart warranty. I have Big-O tires on the truck. They are worn down some but still have wear left on them. They have the Big-O warranty and include free rotation and balancing. Some of the negative things about this truck is that very recently the speedometer has been acting up. Sometimes working, sometimes not. The odometer continuously works fine. The driver side seat heater also works when it wants to but often chooses not to. I have had the brakes inspected periodically and think they are still in good shape with the exception of one of the front wheels applying more pressure than the other side. I was advised by a mechanic that it was probably a brake line not allowing the fluid to travel forward and backward properly for the anti locking brakes. I replaced both front brake lines and one rear. It still acts up. I don't know but it could be a caliper that needs to be replaced. That will have to be addressed by the new owner. So in bidding keep this fact in mind. I am trying to list everything that I can think of and be as honest as I can. I want no problems or issues after the sale. If you have specific questions, please ask and I will do my best to answer them. The driver seat entry side on the side is cracked. I do not believe this part of the seats are leather. It was the luxury model when I bought it new. Had just about everything available. It does not have the XM radio. It does have the phone and roadside service. I forget what it is called. It is not presently connected. It can be at the new owners discretion. The carpet has not been kept clean but has floor mats in place. The carpet will not be in the best of condition. The drivers side mirror is broken but useable. Also, the windshield is cracked. I have always used Amsoil oil and filters for oil changes. The fuel filters have mainly been purchased at the GM dealership and have been replaced as recommended by the manufacturer. The oil is high quality and is used for long intervals between changes. The truck has never failed to start even when one of the batteries was getting weak. I can't think of any other negative issues. As I have stated, the truck, to my knowledge, has no issues other than what I have listed. If I think of anything else I will add them later. So, in a few words, the truck runs and drives good, just doesn't look the greatest. Keep in mind when bidding that this is a 2005 model and may need some work done. None other than stated, to my knowledge. It will need to have the brakes checked, the speedometer and the seat heater, if you want, new tires in the future. So keep these potential expenses in mind when bidding. Allow for some possible other expenditures once you have the vehicle. Thank you for looking. The truck is sold as. No guarantees. No refunds. A $500.00 non refundable deposit is required at the end of the auction with the remainder due in cash when the vehicle is picked up. I do have a clear title. You are welcome to contact me and come see the vehicle in person. As you can see in the pictures, the truck is in need of a good cleaning. It'll probably cost you a couple hundred dollars for this, so keep it in mind when bidding.

2016 Lamborghini Huracan at the Horse Thief Mile | AutoblogVR
Tue, Sep 13 2016AutoblogVR returns to the Horse Thief Mile in the Mojave Desert to put the Lamborghini Huracan to the test. It's everything we want a modern supercar to be: Powerful, striking in appearance, and a riot to drive. But does it live up to Lamborghini's unique performance heritage? Senior Editor Greg Migliore reviews the Huracan on Horse Thief's unyielding curves and elevation changes to find out. Meanwhile, Autoblog Editor-in-Chief Mike Austin reviews a different kind of performance car – the Chevy SS at the IndyCar circuit on Detroit's Belle Isle. He's ably assisted by ace driver Simon Pagenaud. You must watch his hot lap! The SS is old-school V8 American muscle wrapped in Australian design and engineering. This AutoblogVR segment also launches on the app Sept. 13, and the teaser follows the Huracan preview above. Each week, new episodes will launch on the AutoblogVR App. We'll preview them here on Autoblog, but for the full immersive experience, head over to the app, which you can download for free from the App store and Google Play. Be sure to try it with a cardboard viewer, too!
GM says hybrid Corvette no laughing matter [w/poll]
Fri, 30 Aug 2013When Mark Reuss was in LA recently, he sat down to have a few words with the scribes at the Los Angeles Times. When the issue of a hybrid Corvette came up, Reuss answered with "Don't laugh." The General Motors president is a complete fan of the possibility, calling it "attractive" and "really fun," believing it would improve GM expertise and that "people would love it."
Naturally, the president being supportive of an idea doesn't give indication that a hybrid Corvette is on the way. However, with supercars like the Porsche 918 Spyder and Ferrari LaFerrari giving hybrid tech a solid, if remote, place in the performance car world, the inexorable trickle-down of technology means we shouldn't be surprised if and when it does happen.
And now that we have that non-negative half-answer to a speculative question, it would be irresponsible for us not to commence rumormilling for the C8 Corvette. Taking Reuss at his word, the C8 will obviously be a hybrid with all-wheel-drive - the left side wheels driven with electric motors, the right side with the mid-mounted, four-cylinder diesel engine. With coefficient of drag of just .16, figure on a 0-to-60 mile-per-hour time of under 2 seconds and an all-electric range of something like 30 miles at top speed. Don't forget, folks, you read it here first.
Camaro chief: 'rock-star' 4-cylinder set for Mustang fight
Wed, Jul 8 2015It was inevitable, the 2016 Chevy Camaro had to have a four-cylinder engine. The archrival Ford Mustang packs a spunky 2.3-liter EcoBoost four-banger, and everyone from BMW to Subaru uses four-cylinders to great effect to power their sports cars. Now it's Chevy's turn. Again. The Camaro ran the infamous Iron Duke four-cylinder with 88 to 92 horsepower in the 1980s. It was a fuel-economy play at a time when performance was not a priority. After the 1970s muscle-car era, output even for the V8s didn't top 200 hp again until the mid-'80s. Thankfully for enthusiasts, things have changed dramatically in the last 30 years. The gen six Camaro will offer a 2.0-liter inline four-cylinder with 275 horsepower. It's the standard engine, slotting below the 335-hp V6 and the 455-hp V8. But don't mistake the new I4 for an Iron Duke encore. Camaro chief engineer Al Oppenheiser called it a "rock star" and said cars equipped with it feel lighter than V6 models. The four-cylinder (295 pound-feet at 3,000-4,500 rpm) also summons more torque in quicker fashion than the V6 (284 lb-ft at 5,300 rpm). Chevy expects the Camaro to hit 60 miles per hour in "well under six seconds," according to press materials. The Mustang EcoBoost (310 hp, 320 lb-ft) clocks times in the low to mid five-second range. "We're not doing it just so we have one," Oppenheiser said. "We're not doing it because like in gen three you're forced to do it because of fuel economy. We're doing it because it belongs in the car. It has a distinct character." Speaking with Autoblog recently at the Detroit Grand Prix racecourse on Belle Isle, Oppenheiser said he expects the I4 to attract a younger crowd to the Camaro and will put up stiff competition against the V6 for sales. "I've read blogs where younger folks won't buy a Camaro because it doesn't have a 2.0-liter turbo or a turbocharged four-cylinder," he said. "So we're going to excite them." While we talked a lot about four-cylinder engines, Oppenheiser also elaborated on the V6 (It's pretty damn good, too. We drove it.) and the new Alpha platform that the Camaro borrowed from Cadillac. Here's the rest of our edited conversation. Autoblog: Talk a little bit about the four-cylinder – the first turbo four-cylinder ever for Camaro. Do you have any idea what the take rate's going to be? Al Oppenheiser: I think it's going to surprise a lot of people. It's actually a fun car to drive. It's got a really good balance of turbo noise and exhaust note.
