You are looking at what I believe to be the best 2007 Chevy Silverado 4wd available anywhere. It has extremely low mileage and has been very well taken care of. It has the 6.0 liter that is very rare. All other 4wd lifted trucks I have seen have the 5.3. This truck has plenty of power, but it drives down the road like a dream. I originally thought the oversized tires would cause it to ride rough and be very loud. This is not the case at all. It is incredibly easy to drive and the tires are not loud at all. It has a 6" lift with oversize tires/rims. Those are both in excellent condition. It has color matched fender flares which set the truck off nicely. It has dual exhaust with electric cutout headers. I cannot say enough about this feature. If you want to run normal duals which sound really great, you can. Or with a touch of a button, you can let people know you are coming down the road by opening the cutout. It sounds amazing. On the subject of sound, it has an air horn with a compressor in the truck box. Very easily can get you into some trouble if you blow that horn in town. If you have never heard one before, it literally sounds like a train horn. Not a diesel horn. A TRAIN HORN! The interior of the truck looks as good as the exterior. Camaro spy shots show subtly different grille, front fascia
Sun, 03 Feb 2013It looks like there some changes in store for the Chevrolet Camaro - the only thing is that we just don't know what Chevy has up its sleeve. Looking at these spy shots, we'd initially be inclined to think that there is just a minor facelift or a new special edition, but upon closer inspection, there are a few oddities about this car that definitely have us intrigued.
The most obvious difference on this prototype is the slightly restyled front fascia with a smaller lower air inlet and the two-bar grille. Then we get to some of the car's mysterious details. For starters, this fascia has the SS vent above the grille, but it looks to be blocked off. Granted this could just be a one-off piece used for testing. What really piqued our interest was at the rear of the car where it has quad exhaust outlets that are used on the ZL1. Could this be the LS7-powered Camaro that we reported on back in December?
At this point, your guess is as good as ours as to what we're looking at here, so let us know in the comments what you think this could be.
GM claims it's first to sell million 30+ mpg vehicles
Fri, 04 Jan 2013As we continue to put together all the data for the year-end edition of By The Numbers, General Motors has announced that it sold more than a million vehicles in the US last year that achieved at least 30 miles per gallon on the highway. More impressively, GM managed this feat using multiple strategies including small vehicle size, turbocharged engines and hybrid or plug-in technologies across four brands (Buick, Cadillac, Chevrolet and GMC) accounting for 13 separate models. This number will grow even more in 2013 thanks to cars like the all-electric Spark, the diesel Cruze, the range-extended Cadillac ELR and the Buick Encore compact CUV.
GM's small car sales were up 39 percent last year helping to attain this million-sales mark for 30-mpg models, and almost 40 percent of all GM sales consisted of cars with fuel-efficient I4 engines. In regards to more advanced means of improving fuel economy, GM says that it plans on having 500,000 vehicles with "some form of electrification" on the road by 2017.
