BAGGED 2007 CHEVY SILVERADO LTZ! LOW MILES! OVER $40K INVESTED IN UPGRADES!!!!! Ladies and gentlemen... if you are in the market for super nice truck that you can take to shows but also drive everyday then look no further! We have an absolutely beautiful 2007 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 that isn't just your normal truck! For starters this truck is a loaded to the max LTZ model that has the very desirable 6.0L V8. Yes I said 6.0! That was an option only available in 2% of the 1500 Silverados. This truck has been absolutely meticulously maintained and modified with no expense spared! It ONLY has 24K MILES! The truck has navigation, sunroof, heated black leather seats, woodgrain dash, steering wheel audio controls, and basically any other option available in a 1500. This truck is a 2 owner ZERO accident truck that was taken from fully stock to modded by the last owner. The entire truck was professionally built by Cardenal Car Stereo in Mesa, AZ. I have over $40k in invoices on this truck just in aftermarket... not even including the value of this high dollar LTZ truck! Now on to the good stuff... The wheels are a 24x9.5 MHT 2 piece wheel that has been fully podwercoated bright white to match the exterior of the truck. It rides on brand new tires all the way around with no signs of wear. The suspension is a full custom air ride kit that looks as if it came factory that way. It has a full triangulated 4 link rear suspension with 2,600lb Firestone bags in the rear. The front rides on a full custom set of tubular control arms and 2,600lb bags. The truck has 9 way adjustable Rancho shocks all the way around to smooth out the ride. This truck truly does "Ride like a Cadillac"! The truck has a full 9 switch AVS controller to adjust ride height and the air pressures are monitered by a digital display mounted in the console. The air comes from 2 massive Air Zenith compressors. The engine is basically stock but has been upgraded with a K&N FIPK intake and Magnaflow exhaust. The fuel system has been upgraded with an RCI fuel cell that houses the OEM fuel pump and sending unit for correct gauge function and reliablity. The brakes have been upgraded with large BAER brakes all the way around as well as a GM Hydroboost setup. The bed has been fully tubbed and outfitted with the extreme stereo system and topped off with a nice clean spray-in bedliner. The fuel cell is filled from the bed and has a lockable gas door mounted in the bed floor. The exterior has basically been left just clean and OEM looking with the exception of the blacked out bowties and rear rollpan. This truck has an absolutely rediculous stereo system! For starters the head unit is a Kenwood Navigation DVD Double DIN unit with all the bells and whistles. Then the mids and highs travel from the head unit to 2 XD600/6 JL amplifiers then out to Rockford Fosgate speakers in the kick panels and doors. For the low side of the spectrum the music travels from the head unit to 4... yes I said 4 600/1 JL Audio amps then out to 4 12" JL Audio 12w3 subwoofers mounted in a full blow thru cab setup. All the music is controlled by a large Clarion equalizer mounted in the console. The truck has been covered with 72 sq ft of DynaMat Xtreme. All of the steering wheel controls still fully operate the Kenwood head unit. The truck also has a ton of other accessories such as Horn Blasters Train Horn with separate air system, 6000k Xenon headlight and fog lights, etc. Again I do have 100% of the invoices for the build and all the work is absolutely top notch. Nothing has been "rigged". There are absolutely no exposed wires anywhere. This truck does absolutely ride and drive as good... actually better than factory. It could be driven anywhere in the country in comfort and you WILL NOT have to worry about any reliablity issues. This is an absoluetly awesome truck! There are ZERO cosmetic or mechanical issues aside from the TPMS light is on due to no sensors in the wheels. Also the Service Brakes message come on the dash upon startup from the Hydroboost conversion. Any GM dealer could reflash the BCM to turn the fault lights off. There are no "Check engine" light on and it WILL pass Emissions testing as nothing has been modified outside of C.A.R.B. specs. LOW RESERVE!!!!!!!! For any other info or pictures you may call or text Matt at 615-364-4835. Free airport pickup is available and we are 25mins from Nashville International Airport (BNA).
On Mar-04-13 at 17:01:36 PST, seller added the following information:
I also forgot to mention the truck also has 4 Yellow top Optima batteries and a high output alternator to keep the voltage under control. All the air lines have the expensive quick connect fittings and DOT air line. The truck has also been tuned by HPTuners.

24 Hours of Le Mans live update part two
Sun, Jun 19 2016We tasked surfing journalist Rory Parker to watch this year's live stream of the 2016 24 Hours of Le Mans. What follows is an experiment to experience the world's greatest endurance race from the perspective of a motorsports novice. Parker lives in Hawaii and can hold his breath longer than he can go without swearing. For Part One, click here. Or you can skip ahead to Part Three here. I write about surfing for a living. If you can call it a living. Basically means I spend my days fucking around and my wife pays for everything. Because she's got a real job that pays well. Brings home the bacon. Very progressive arrangement. Super twenty first century. I run a surf website, beachgrit.com, with two other guys. It's a strange gig. More or less uncensored. Kind of popular. Very good at alienating advertisers. My behavior has cost us a few bucks. I'm terrible at self-censorship. Know there's a line out there, no idea where it lies. I still don't understand any of the technical side. Might as well be astrophysics or something. For contests I do long rambling write ups. They rarely make much sense. Mainly just talk about my life, whatever random thoughts pop into my head. "Can you do something similar for Le Mans?" "Sure, but I know absolutely fuck-all about racing." "That's okay. Just write what you want." "Will do. But you're gonna need to edit my stuff. Probably censor it heavily." So here I am. I spent the last week trying to learn all I can about the sport of endurance racing. But there's only so much you can jam in your head. And I still don't understand any of the technical side. Might as well be astrophysics or something. While I rambled things were happening. Tracy Krohn spun into the gravel on the Forza chicane. #89 is out of the race after an accident I missed. Pegasus racing hit the wall on the Porsche curves. Bashed up front end, in the garage getting fixed. Toyota and Porsche are swapping back and forth in the front three. Ford back in the lead in GTE Pro. #91 Porsche took a stone through the radiator, down two laps. Not good. The wife and I are one of those weird childless couples that spend way too much time caring for the needs of their pet. French bulldog, Mr Eugene Victor Debs. Great little guy. Spent the last four years training him to be obedient and friendly. Nice thing about dogs, when you're sick of dealing with them you can just lock 'em in another room for a few hours. You don't need to worry about paying for college.
2013 Chevy COPO Camaro announced with two new engines and manual option
Thu, 07 Mar 2013Chevrolet is following up the 2012 COPO Camaro with another limited run of the drag-strip-ready production car for 2013. Ditching the superchargers, the 2013 COPO Camaro can only be equipped with one of three naturally aspirated V8 engines, and other new features include the option of a manual transmission, new front springs, some minor styling changes and a lower starting price of $86,000. All cars are designed to abide by the rules of the NHRA's Stock Eliminator or Super Stock classifications, depending on in which series buyers wish to enter their Chevrolet Camaro.
Returning for 2013 is the 427-cubic-inch V8 producing 425 horsepower, but the new engines include a 325-hp 350-CID V8 and a 375-hp 396-CID V8. Buyers can select to purchase all three engines, and each will be matched with the sequence number of that car; the track-only COPO cars will not have vehicle identification numbers and can't be registered for street use.
Chevrolet is also offering unique enthusiast-specific options such as a COPO Build Book and the opportunity for owners to help assemble their car's engine at the Chevrolet Performance Build Center in Wixom, MI.
Survey says $25k barrier is a problem for EVs
Sun, 01 Dec 2013
The majority of consumers are more or less priced out of the market.
Electric cars are gaining popularity with the general public, but are they still too expensive? According to a survey 1,084 consumers by Navigant Research, a consulting firm located in Boulder, CO, 71 percent want their next car to cost under $25,000, while 41 percent won't go a cent above $20K. Looks like people are even thriftier than we'd originally thought.
