This truck has been VERY WELL TAKEN CARE OF!  115,000miles.  Runs great.  Very little rust.  Garage life and never smoked in.  Heated leather seats.  Rhino Liner.  Pace-Edwards roll-top (have new spring tube for it).  Putco stainless steel side rails.  DeeZee running boards.  Over-head storage with power outlets on each side.  Husky form fitted floor mats for front and rear.  Vent shades front/back.  Under hood rust inhibitor system installed and has worked very well over the past 13 years!  Have a file folder with everything that has been done to truck maintenance/repair wise.  Oil has been changed every 4000 miles and was just done a few weeks ago.  Maybe 50 miles on this oil change so far.  Tires are in great shape with plenty of tread left.  Spare tire is in excellent shape as well.  Trailering package including the 8-wire trailer harness that was never used.    Has driver seat position memory for 2 drivers.  Mirror has compass and temperature and both work.  Heated mirrors do not work.  Never had them looked at either as I never used them.  A year ago this had a new catalytic converter, plugs, wires, pcv, fuel filter and EGR valve.  Also replaced both rear leaf spring shackles in 02/2012.  KBB books this at $8700-$10,500.   Call or text 607-4two5-2one63

2014 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra show all their sides in Detroit

Tue, 15 Jan 2013

There could hardly be more riding on the next-generation General Motors full-size pickup trucks, so the automaker has wisely made sure to have a selection of different models on hand at the Detroit Auto Show to show off. The 2014 Chevrolet Silverado and 2014 GMC Sierra were both officially introduced last month at a stand-alone reveal, and now they'll be on display for the public to see in various body configurations and trim levels.
The Silverado LTZ Crew Cab and Sierra SLE Extended Cab are aimed at providing more of a high-end pickup experience, while the Silverado LT Z71 Extended Cab and Sierra SLT Z71 Crew Cab should have off-road fans scouting out their favorite trails. The crew cab trucks won't go into production until sometime during the second quarter of this year - with other bodystyles coming later in the year - but we have plenty of live images from Detroit for you to enjoy.

2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Convertible gives us a couple of looks

Sat, 02 Mar 2013

Put away your pixel paintbrushes, kids. Pack up your Photoshop. This is the real-deal 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Convertible in its first official images. The droptop Chevrolet will roll into the bright lights of the Palexpo exhibition at next week's Geneva Motor Show, a four-wheeled statement of intent that General Motors is serious about taking its Corvette franchise global.
Chevy isn't providing anything in the way of further details with these two shots, but we've learned at least a couple of things about the car shown here. First off, the example seen in these images is fitted with the optional Z51 Performance Package - something that isn't immediately evident because there's no sign of the coupe model's prominent ductwork on its rear haunches. In order to accommodate the power folding hard tonneau cover, the vents that feed the transmission and differential coolers have been relocated to the underside of the car. The dark paint color on this example also does a good job of muting the contrasting black front fender vents and hood opening - Z51-spec design details that have proven to be somewhat controversial.
One other thing to note: These two shots also display the Stingray wearing different alloy wheels than the split five-spoke design shown at the hardtop's Detroit Auto Show unveiling in January. The simpler, thin five-spoke wheels should do a good job of showing off the Z51's upgraded brakes, and they'll be optional on the coupe as well.

Corvette Stingray Shooting Brake under consideration by Callaway [w/poll]

Mon, 18 Mar 2013

Callaway has released a few renderings of a design study for a shooting brake version of the C7 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray. The company says it wants to create a long-roof version of America's sports car to offer buyers more interior room and a vehicle with "unique style." The company says it will use structural carbon fiber for the new body bits, which suggests the conversion shouldn't add too much more weight to the Corvette. Along with a few mechanical tweaks, the Callaway Corvette Stingray AeroWagon could breeze past the 200 miles per hour barrier.
Provided that they get enough interest, Callaway estimates they will be able to effect the changes on the Chevrolet for around $15,000, and says the conversion work should be available through its network of dealers. You can check out the brief press release below for more information, or head over to the Callaway site to plunk down a deposit - but before you do, we want to know... do you find this C7 wagon interesting?
