I HAVE A 1999 CHEVROLET SILVERADO LS SINGLE CAB IT HAS THE TOW PACKAGE SO THIS MODEL ACTUALLY HAS THE 5.3 V8 IN IT. IT IS GRAY IN COLOR AND THE PAINT IS CLEAN FOR ITS AGE IT ONLY HAS MINOR SCRATCHES WHICH IS NORMAL FOR A CAR THIS AGE. THE TRUCK HAS 151000 MILES AND RUNS GREAT ABSOLUTELY NO PROBLEMS AT ALL AND PASSES SMOG WITH FLYING COLORS THE TRUCK IS COMPLETELY STOCK WITH JUST A MUFFLER WHICH SOUNDS GREAT AND HAS NO CABIN RATTLE. THE TRUCK ALSO HAS BEDLINER AND THE TRUCK HAS BEEN PROFESSIONALLY LOWERED THE RIGHT WAY UPPER AND LOWER CONTROL ARMS IN THE FRONT AND C NOTCHED IN THE REAR IT IS LOWERED 5 INCHES IN FRONT AND 7 INCHES IN THE REAR WITH BRAND NEW BELLTECH SHOCKS IN ALL FOUR CORNERS I MEAN THIS TRUCK RIDES NICE AND SMOOTH. INSIDE THE CABIN IS VERY CLEAN NO RIPS OR TEARS ALMOST LOOKS BRAND NEW IN THE INSIDE IT HAS A ALPINE BLUETOOTH CD PLAYER AND THATS IT I ALSO KEPT THE STOCK RADIO IF YOU WANT THAT. THE AIR CONDITIONER WORKS GREAT AND IS NICE AND COLD AND ALSO THE HEATER WORKS GREAT.THE TRUCK HAS ELECTRIC WINDOWS AND THEY ARE TINTED AND THE TRUCK ALSO HAS A 2 WAY PAGER ALARM FROM VIPER FOR THE SECURITY ASPECT OF IT. THIS TRUCK HAS A TOW PACKAGE SO IT CAME WITH THE 5.3 AND IT DOES HAVE A TOW HITCH ON IT JUST INCASE YOU NEED TO TOW SOMETHING OVERALL THIS TRUCK IS VERY CLEAN AND TRUCK IS RARE AND HARD TO FIND IN THIS CONDITION WITH A 5.3 IN IT. Europeans ask Chevy to bring Volt back to Europe
Fri, Aug 14 2015A group of French fans is asking for a jolt of support from General Motors to get the 2016 Chevrolet Volt across the pond. The Association Amperistes et Amis des Vehicules Rechargeables is running a Change.org petition that currently has 383 signatures out of a goal of 500. While the attempt is admirable, it's probably going to take a lot more than several hundred people for the model to make a return to the continent after the poor showing of the Opel Ampera – first-gen Volt's European cousin. The group's major argument for bringing a version of the second-gen Volt to Europe is that consumers need "an intermediate choice between expensive or range-limited pure electric cars and plug-in hybrids with a miserable electric range." Furthermore, such a vehicle would prod the competition to produce similarly efficient electrified models. They also lavish praise on the abilities of the Ampera for its long EV driving range. The supporters aren't entirely kind to GM in the petition, though, and claim the company excluded the original car from marketing efforts there. The Ampera actually enjoyed a strong European launch with more orders than initially expected and briefly topped the best-sellers list among EVs there. It was even named 2012 European Car of the Year. Those halcyon days didn't last long, and by 2014 sales fell off to a trickle. The waning reception caused GM's decision not to introduce a version of the new 2016 Volt there or in Australia. Related Video:
2014 Chevrolet SS makes its live debut
Sat, 16 Feb 2013Chevrolet showed off the new 2014 SS in an airport hangar last night, its first rear-wheel-drive performance sedan in the US since the Impala SS from 1997. We'll have more to say about the SS later today, but this is the sedan that Chevrolet sees as the final piece in restoring its performance credentials. For those of you looking for a manual transmission, however, that wish will go unfulfilled - at least for now: the only two options buyers will have are the color and whether or not they want a sunroof.
We'll work on getting some more angles (in better light) today at Daytona International Speedway, but with fans seeing the car for the first time, we don't hold out much luck of getting a clear shot. So for now, enjoy the high-res gallery above.
New Bright creating exclusive 1:8 scale radio-controlled C7 Corvette
Mon, 04 Feb 2013If you want a new 2014 Chevrolet Corvette but can't quite save up enough pennies for the monthly payment, we have good news for you. Toymaker New Bright has pulled the covers off of its 1:8 scale remote-controlled version of the American sports car. Complete with a very detailed interior and LED headlights, this large-scale R/C is as close as most of us will ever come to having one of the menacing Chevrolet models to call our very own. New Bright still hasn't released pricing or availability, but word has it the coupe should hit the market soon.
Right now, it appears as if the C7 will hit shelves in Torch Red, though we don't know if other colors are planned as well. The good news is that New Bright isn't exactly turning its back on the old C6 - representatives say the company will continue to make its popular C6R racecar for those who prefer round taillights.
