-35" tires

-ENTIRE front end was rebuilt during lift. All ball joints, tie rods and tie rod ends, U-Joints and brakes.
- As close to rust free as a 99 can get, rear wheel wells have none, front has tiny bit on back side near cab, rocker panels have close to none as well (pictures of them as well). If it gets muddy, it gets washed, period. I take care of my hard worked for possessions. That means I don't leave mud caked on rusting my truck away. It also means I change the oil every 3000 miles, and the original owner kept a log of maintenance records. I also use one quart of Lucas oil Stabilizer every time.
- Custom Bumper, I built this bumper out of a 4 1/2" piece of oil field pipe and 1/8" diamond plate steel. (It is welded to the truck)

That's well over $2,500 in parts, plus the labor, and the other (ball joints and stuff) well into the 4,500 - 5,000 range to get it done yourself.

The only thing you could pick to complain about is it is leveled and lifted, I extended the CV's by cutting and welding an extension in them (this is shown in the pictures). I am an experienced welder, I've been welding for over 5 years and know what I am doing. They are solid. The leveling kit is not any where near maxed out, if none of this makes sense to you just be glad I did the work and you don't have to. Aside from that it is a 99, it has a dent on the left rear quarter (pictured), scratch on the right rear wheel well (also pictured), windshield has two cracks (not spider webbed), a stain in the back from a spilled root beer, and a small tear on the drivers seat (both also pictured). One of the running lights is out and the radio preset number light is out too (bulb and fuse I believe)

This is a solid truck, it isn't brand new but it is a good truck and looks very nice. It has been my baby but I am starting a business and need an HD truck. All that said PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do NOT "win" the auction if you don't FULLY intend to purchase, please get loan approval before you "buy it now" if someone "wins" the auction I get charged 125 dollars regardless of them following through with the sale. PLEASE CALL or text me with any further questions, I am not trying to hide ANYTHING I want to sell my truck, not screw you over, so feel free to contact me with any questions and concerns. I am located near Wichita KS so if you are in the neighborhood I'll meet you to let you see it. Call or text me at 316-644-6100

Some 2012-13 Chevy Volts may not have enough battery coolant

Mon, Jun 23 2014

The 2012 and 2013 model year Chevrolet Volt extended-range plug-in vehicle may have a battery glitch caused by low coolant levels. No recall has been issued and General Motors is taking care of the issue at no cost to drivers. Some of the affected Volts may have lower-than-advisable coolant levels because of some pesky air pockets in the car's cooling circuit. When the coolant levels get too low, the charging system for the battery powering the car's onboard generator (i.e. the Rechargeable Energy Storage System, or the RESS) may be shut down, turning one's Volt into a run-of-the-mill gas-powered car, and a pricey one at that. The Car Connection says GM is advising owners of the '12 and '13 Volts to contact their local Chevy dealer for a free fix. GM representatives didn't immediately respond to a request for comment from AutoblogGreen for more details. We believe this is a separate issue than the one that brought 8,000 Volts back to the dealers for a battery coolant fix, what GM called a "voluntary customer satisfaction effort," a few years ago. General Motors sold 23,094 Chevy Volts last year after selling 23,461 Volts in 2012, so that fix-it list may get fairly lengthy. Check out a GM-Volt.com user thread related to this issue here. *UPDATE: Chevrolet spokesman Randy Fox confirmed in an e-mail to AutoblogGreen that the company issued a service bulletin to dealers that they may need to top off coolant levels on certain Volts because of the issue, and that the vehicle will "return to normal charging operation" once that's done.

Final C6 Corvette built in Bowling Green

Fri, 01 Mar 2013

With all of the attention given to the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray lately, you could be forgiven for thinking that it's already well along in production, yet tooling up for the new C7 has only just begun. In fact, production of the outgoing C6 generation in Bowling Green, Kentucky just halted on Thursday.
As the C6 has aged, production numbers have predictably ebbed along with demand, but this year, the addition of the 427 and 60th anniversary models resulted in an uptick in vehicles built - this, despite a model year shortened by around 25 percent to accomodate the new model changeover. The final C6 Corvette ever, No. 13,466 built this year, was a white 427 Convertible destined for the General Motors Heritage Center museum. The car's 7.0-liter V8 heart was assembled by Corvette chief engineer Tadge Juechter himself.
In total, Bowling Green pushed out 215,100 C6 Corvettes over nine years. If you're still a C6 fan at heart and are hoping to get a good deal on a phase-out model, step lively - Chevrolet reportedly had about 6,100 unsold units, which Autoweek suggests is good for around five and a half months of supply at the model's current sales rates. Given that demand will likely slacken even further as the C7 draws closer, that should be a big enough stockpile to keep dealers satisfied until 2014 Stingrays begin showing up on their forecourts in December.

Hot Wheels Camaro to make big debut at Indy

Fri, 05 Apr 2013

Chevrolet handed over the keys to 33 Hot Wheels Camaro Convertible Indianapolis 500 festival cars this week. Race directors get the luxury of driving the droptops around Indianapolis in an ongoing tradition with roots all the way back to the 1960s. The stunt is supposed to remind area residents that the Indy 500 is right around the corner. The cars are our first look at the special Camaro Hot Wheels Edition in convertible form, and they are slated to head to dealers after a one-time production run. The cars also represent the first time in history full-size Hot Wheels have been offered for sale by an automaker.
The cars will be available in both the previously seen coupe bodystyle and this convertible configuration, and will feature metallic blue paint and special wheels with the iconic redline accent. Buyers will be able to choose between the V6-powered 2LT trim and the V8-powered 2SS guise.
Hot Wheels says the original Custom Camaro toy was one of the original 16 1:64-scale diecasts, and it remains one of the company's most valuable collector items today.
